      Fantastic šŸ˜
Because we LOVE roasting it for you ā€¦..

      Thank you šŸ™

      • -3

        … And taking your money.

        • +26

Itā€™s only fair if youā€™re taking our coffee šŸ™‚

        • don't you have the right of not buying?

          • +1

@StephBlanks: I think your missing the playful banter in our comments

  • +2

I always seem to run low between the 40% off deals! But that's beside the point, this coffee is fantastic and I can't be caught without it now.

    • Thanks so much bassiveguitar!!!

    • Same here LOL

  • Just purchased! Will be the first time trying your coffee, but based on previous deals it seems pretty good. ^_^

  • Finally getting to try out these beans, seems like one of OzB's favourites!

Have preferred Lime Blue's offerings (Brazil and Peru Single Origins) + delayed dispatch options to what I've tried from Airjo so far (Enterprise and Twilight), but keen to give these a go. Thanks OP! :)

    • Sumatra > Twilight

      Can't speak for enterprise blend

      • +7

I bought a couple of times from them. Really didn't like the enterprise blend. I prefer the limeblue`s single origin which had lesser burnt dark taste.

        • +1

Love the Sumatra. Literally chucked the Enterprise. It was undrinkable.

          • @Daabido: You guys must like lighter roasts then. Enterprise is a medium/dark roast.
The darker the roast the more of a burnt flavour it has. However I find enterprise to be just right. The only coffee in Australia that I tried which was nicer was little marionette. However with airjo pricing I always buy their enterprise blend

        • +2

I agree, Lime Blue all the way!

      • I have tried quite a few beans and I agree - Sumatra is the best.

    • Have tried this and Enterprise. I think I prefer limeblueā€™s single origin then Enterprise. Sumatra is a light roast so maybe thats the issue for me

    • @poppingtags Lime Blue (Columbian) for myself is better then Airjo Enterprise. I have tried the Sumatra blend twice and I wasn't a fan. It is a weak roast and tastes too much like caramel but if that's your thing you'll enjoy it.

  • hi got a question
I have a Delta coffee press
I got a order of the aeropress grind

for some reason I find the grind different to what I get at the coffee shops, it seems to give me less resistance when I use the press, and the coffee is slightly weaker

I'm assuming my local coffee shop grounds me for espresso, do u recommend me getting the espresso grind instead?

  • +1

FINALLY!! I've been waiting for a deal

    • stock up while you have the chance! I hear coffee is gonna get expensive…

      • Why?

        • Supply chain issues I assume.

People don't realise 20ft container shipping gone up 4x-5x in price to transport ($1k to up to $5k). But price increase depends on what you are shipping and volume. Shipping cost increase would be higher for box of facial tissues than coffee beans.

  • Iā€™ve just run out of my last AirJo, so good timing. I enjoyed them, and might pick up a bag of the blend, see what itā€™s like.

Was wondering out of curiosity where you guys are based? Couldnā€™t find any info on your website.

    • Hey General!!
Great question. Based in South East Queensland.

  • any delayed shipping options for fresh roast?

    • No delayed options sorry guys.

      • All good ordered anyway

  • Does anyone know if airjo offer delayed roasting /shipping? Cheers

    • No delayed options sorry guys.

  • I had it before but didnā€™t like it. Better get coffee from here. https://www.siciliacoffee.com.au/

    • +1

Sorry to hear you didnā€™t like it callthepolice.

    • Same. The taste wasn't.. strong enough.

But I've been spoilt, friend pass me beans that's been freshly roasted.

    • +1

Never heard of Sicilia Coffee, but the price is right. Hope the beans are fresh.

I found this Arjo blend pretty average, but Twilight is amazing and Saratoga is great also.

      • +1

I buy them since a while and they are constantly fresh and strong enough. Use code THANKS10 or CHEERS10 to get 10% off. They sell on eBay their sampler packs, I can recommend the premium one for 31.90 use code AFTERPAY10 and get it delivered for 21.90 (4 blends a 250gr.) with EBay plus. They also have a medium and mild sampler pack.

        • Heard of Sicilia but didn't know they had an ebay. Ebay prices seem to be a few $ higher than their website because of ebay fees.

          • @Fobsessive: If you use code AFTERPAY10 as mentioned the premium sampler coffees, 1kg are $21.50 deliveredā€¦

  • Bought a 500 cheers

    • +1

      Thanks dv!
Super keen to hear your feedback.

      Cheers
      Dan

  • +1

perfectly timed, only had about 2-3 brew amounts left :P

  • Is this good for using with a Bialetti MokaPot? I know almost nothing about coffee

    • Great in the Moka Pot Kev.
      Be sure to order ā€œStovetop Grindā€ šŸ‘šŸ¼

Yell out any time if you have more questions [email protected] or chat function on the site.

      Cheers
      Dan

  • i am a Campos fan, but will try AirJo this time. Don't let me down:)

    • We are on it for you hanxtom!!
Genuinely appreciate you trying and will do our best for you.

      Cheers
      Dan

    • +1

I can tell you this is better than Campos… I've tried many selections including their $26/250g bags… I

was never a fan of Campos and found the OzBargain offerings had been better like Mannabeans, Baybeans, Limeblue etc…

  • Going from tasteless five senses coffee, hope this one is better!

  • Sorry for asking a very vague question.
I normally try to stick with Aldi's Brasilian beans (to keep it on the cheap side).

I'm running low on the current bag and feel rather adventurous today. And I see positive feedback regarding your beans way too often ;)
Would I like the coffee you have on offer?

I'm not a fan of super dark coffes, I would say "6/10" is the scale I would normally aim at if that makes any sense.
I can only imagine you must be getting heaps of these random questions so appreciate your help! :)

    • +2

      Hey yadq. Thanks for asking.
Iā€™m super confident you will love this coffee.
This is a great coffee, certified organic and fresh as it gets.
Genuinely keen to hear what you think.

      Cheers
      Dan

      • Thanks! Will give it a go then :)
And will try to post my review on the future deal (if you end up running another one)

    • I generally buy freshly roasted beans but bought SO from Aldi 2-3 times, have not seen Brazil beans for a while though, only bought Colombia and Honduras, so wonder if your Aldi store stock Brazil SO?.
Although Aldi roast day was only couple of weeks, I found I had to grind much finer to achieve same result, heard their Brazil SO was best choice.

      • +1

Not even sure if they stock them at my place atm. Itā€™s a bit of hit and miss. I liked their Honduras beans too though! Peru and Columbia were very much on the ā€œmehā€ side, not a fan of those.

    • Haven't been able to get the Aldi single origin Brasil for a while, it's been my go to.

  • ordered, thank you, perfect timing

    • Thanks so much fmckenzie!

  • Ordered. How soon will you ship it?

    • Hey J. Thanks so much.
Will be shipping this deal Monday/Tuesday šŸ‘šŸ¼

  • Are these beans acidic? I read that Sumatran beans are grown at a lower elevation which makes them less acidic so it's better for people with acid reflux/GERD. But I read some comments saying these beans had a acidic aftertaste so I'm not sure now.

    • +3

Most coffee you buy from Sumatra tend to be less acidic cause they usually mix them with robusta (dislaimer: i'm Indonesian) cause many Indonesians do not like the acidic (Melbournians call them 'fruity') coffee…

Airjo's Sumatra beans are medium roast though so I find them much more acidic than the regular Sumatra coffee…

      • Airjo's Sumatra beans are medium

are they? i thought the label says light roast…

        • I suppose it is… But definitely not dark hence the strong acidic taste

      • Robusta beans are lower grade than Arabica beans, I suspect they do that to lower cost!

        • Somewhat i agree!

  • Got a KG. Thanks OP

  • Any discount for twilight or enterprise?

  • We really like this blend.

  • Bought last time and loved the taste, thanks again!

    • Great to hear datafellows. Thanks for sharing and thanks for your order.

      Cheers
      Dan

  • Perfect timing, missed out on 40% off, I just bought one earlier today šŸ˜©

  • When is you decaf coming back in stock?

    • +1

Hey pj. Unfortunately still a couple of weeks away. Apologies for the inconvenience.

  • Cheers, Dan. Perfect timing. Ordered :)

  • Enjoying this. Makes a great brew

  • +1

Should I get the espresso grind if I use the Delonghi Dedica EC685 along with its stock items?

    • +1

With the stock basket youā€™ll probably want something a little bit coarser

  • How does this compare to coffee from the well known roasteries like seven seeds or axil?

  • My first time trying. Can't wait :)

  • Good timing. Bought.

  • Woohoo! My favourite monthly purchase!

  • Great timing Dan!

Can you please share your recommended dosages/ratios/timings for espresso and v60?

  • Definitely a fan of the Sumatra even though it's my only real coffee brewing.
French press "James Hoffman" method (YouTube it) and a ratio of 15:300.
Results in basically a long black 250mL drink, as great as a cafe!!

  • Best way to store leftover coffee if I buy a 1kg bag for two people? 500g probably lasts us around 2 weeks

    • I usually split my kg into 2 500gr and freeze one of them

    • +1

Freeze multiple small Kmart clip jars with a silicone seal

      • How/when do you grind after freezing, straight from frozen or do you defrost, and how it compares to the fresh batch?

        • Let it defrost completely first. Tastes the same as fresh to me

        • 1) Leave it to fully thaw overnight. Do not open the airtight container until then, to ensure no condensation forms.
          2) I haven't gotten that far to know. I'll find out the taste next week with Airjo Enterprise.

Bonus: I only opened the bag on the 6th day to start freezing, to ensure the carbon dioxide degassed enough.

  • +2

I'll order midnight Sunday šŸ˜‚ First pack is almost finished and I really liked it, it was freshly roasted, I don't know how could you deliver in 1 day of roasting from QLD to NSW.

The best thing is resealable pack, I am keeping it for other brands coffee.

  • Missed a few times before finally can try it!

  • Ordered.

  • Any chance you can hook us up with a decaf deal? I keep missing your general deals šŸ˜

What size of grinder should I set for Breville 870?

  • Is this good with cold brew?
