Are these the ones recommended by @WatchNerd ?

  • Stay strapped or get clapped.

There’s lots of bands in the NATO sections that are just fabric bands in two parts that need pins to be removed, not actual NATO bands that thread through. C’mon strapify, tighten up your wording

    • -1

These are NATO inspired for smart watches but yes I do get your point about that. You can filter those out by selecting double pass in the filters.

    • +3

A lot of people prefer the 2 part quick release straps for smart watches with a heart rate monitor. The traditional NATO straps that wrap your wrist around cover the sensor.

I like to change up my watchband on my Fossil Smartwatch quite regularly, so I've built up a fair collection so far. I mostly purchase on Amazon or eBay.

Even with the discount, these seem like heavily inflated prices. Silicone quick release straps should never be more than $10, and NATO straps should be less. Leather should sit around $35 as well.

It looks like you have a good range, but not sure how you justify the huge prices sorry.

    • -1

If you are getting a leather strap that retails for $35, I can almost guarantee you their leather straps are going to be extremely low quality.

We aren't aiming to be the cheapest. We aim to provide a great quality products, great customer service all a reasonable price point.

There's sellers out there that are charging these prices and less right now and so if you are after a strap to literally just do the job and have the look, these might be more suitable for you. But if you want something that is made better overall, this is where our value proposition sits.

Hope this explains our position on pricing.

      • Unfortunately it doesn't really. I've been wearing the same 22mm quick release brown leather strap for about 2 years while at work and it was around that price. Fantastic quality.

I have at least 5 silicon straps of various colours that I change up when I'm working out or on weekends etc, none of those have failed me. Great quality. All around $8-$10.

I have a handful of NATO straps that wear about $5 (it's literally just fabric with quick release pins). They have served me well.

I understand your trying to offer a premium product (and for leather I could agree if you could prove you have high quality leather), but you would need to do some serious convincing that the silicon, rubber, metal, NATO straps aren't coming from the same place the as the ones Amazon that are a fraction of the prices you're pushing.

        • Some straps are fantastic value at that price point - no doubt about that. Even the $5 NATOs from Aliexpress can be great. It really comes down to what you want and how much you care about nicer materials.

Some people appreciate the smoother, nicer material. Some don't and that's ok. I myself am more discerning when it comes to watches, but when you talk to me about general clothing, I'm more than happy to go with cheaper options that look the part.

When I first started my watch collection, I started on the $5 NATO that I was very happy with. Did the job and looked great. But you can't compare the quality of those with ours.

'Not so obvious watches' did a comparison between cheap natos vs ours and other high quality suppliers.

I'm not trying to convince you whether to buy or not. I'm just explaining why we've priced our products the way we have.

          • @STRAPIFY Watch Strap: I appreciate the response, I'll take a look at the link.

            • @swhitmore: I’ve made a purchase from Strapify previously when there was a special and I was very skeptical after having some fairly average at best straps from the cheapest nato website.

I was very impressed by their straps, especially nato ones they are definitely of premium quality and wouldn’t hesitate to buy again.

The leather strap I bought was decent, but didn’t meet my expectations. It was quite thin and didn’t carry my seiko turtle well at all unfortunately.

However with leather I’ve definitely found you get what you pay for in most instances across all sellers.

This time round I’m considering picking up a watch roll

  • nothing like an empty display box to get my inspiration

    • Nothing like a good bargain from Starbuy ;)

  • Thanks guys. Nice to see you offer sizes to fit the Orient Bambino!

  • fix you website, it's annoying once you click select size/colour and then back, it doesn't go back to where it was.

Also, shop by colour didn't work. At least for orange which I tried. smh

    • Thanks - I've just fixed that now. In the past we didn't have as many products so wasn't an issue. But now we've got too many and it is very annoying!

  • too classy for me, under watch brands it doesn't have Citizen or Casio .

  • Awesome. Bought a watch roll and a deployment clasp :-)
