I got some of these last year and they work pretty good. The sensor can be a bit touchy though but for the price, they are great.

Hi Rep, how does yours differ to what you can buy on eBay for less?

    $16.98 delivered
    $21.99 delivered

    • wow the $16.98 is good value!!

Sort of.. You need to make them water tight (they leak through the solar panel edges and kill the ICs) and the batteries don't last long being cooked in full sun.

I bought mine through Kogan. To their credit they keep sending replacements, but if you can get a solar light were the panel and battery are seperate, do it.

        • Can you please share tips or if a link to a video on how to make them water tight.
          Thank you.

ohhh i get $5 off as well for ebay plus.. $11.98 now that cheap.

    • Just grabbed the $16.98 ones thanks. I got the above ones from amazon earlier this year, while they work really well, I dont expect them to last long, this summer in WA the solar panel bit has warped up on 2 of the lights, been installed for less then a month, still works fine though, but for ~$17 I dont mind having some replacements handy when they fail.

      • Seal edges with silicon or at least clear tape..or next decent rain say goodbye..

    • will have to check these out next time I want some to see if any difference.

what the heck - the $16.98 one, why does it say 2200 lumen lol - I bet it's one of those stupid chinese dropshipper marketing BS where they advertise the SUM of all units lumens.

      eg 4 units @ 550 lumen = 2200 lumen

But yes, nice finds WN - OP can cop a neg for another SPAMAZON post

    • Thanks just cancelled my Amazon order

Feel free to rescind your positive vote and neg deal if you think it's a poor deal after buying it cheaper elsewhere

This garbage does not last more than a year, and that's if you're lucky.

Don't buy this rubbish with cheap batteries that could explode on you (I have had this on a cheap solar light - serious fire hazard). Buy a well-built branded solar light from Bunnings when it's on clearance (not the cheap plastic ones that are always $5), and you can feel the difference just by picking it up.

  • These are not sealed against the weather. I doubt whether the ones I got would resist a shower of rain.

  • Its last around 11 months.

  • Bought 3 packs of 4. Out of the 12 I've had, 2 arrived dead. The 10 that are operational and have no issues, haven't experienced the lack of weather proofing noted above to be an issue but will definitely be applying silicon now ive heard about it. Cheers for mentioning it guys!

I like these posts. It lets me know what Aliexpress have a sale on at the moment… Thanks dropshitters.

Ironcially, I have some of these on my house and the plastic they are made out of is not rated as UV resistant and they all deteriorated and faded… Which is a bit silly for a "solar powered light". And the battery lasted about 6 or so months before it would barely power on the light at all.

    Also "cheaper elsewhere"

  • Is it just me or do you sometimes have to repress the button the activate these to work again.
I bought a 2 pack of these from a previous deal same seller but always having reset problem's

  • Wonder why people are negging this where it can last four years for a security light without paying a cent for electricity just for less than $5 per year.

    • It's because this particular seller is charging a lot more than others on eBay
