  • Waiting for the 3060 Ti build… any price indication?

    • Yeah no need to go 3080 TBH for my gaming, only need 1080p & anything above 100 FPS I am ok

    • Hi Koflok,

We are running the Bonus HDD/Perpheral promotion for our existing 60/60ti gaming PCs, and you can visit the link below to have a look!

  • +7

Pity the case is an oven.

    • Yeah the non-mesh case looks like a weak point in this build given the Watts the 3080 will draw

      • +6

I am so over modern case design. Pretty lights decorating ovens. I really don't want to look at my PC unless I have to plug something in and the one thing it needs to do is hold and protect components including keeping them from cooking. Heaven forbid you might want a drive bay on the thing when you could have 3 pretty glowing fans encased in glass. World has gone mad.

        • +3

Pretty easy to get no RGB, high airflow cases if you build your own. It is too bad that a lot of pre-builds go with bling over functionality.

        • If there were no other options available I'd share your sentiment, but having recently built a couple of systems with a 4000D Airflow and O11 Air Mini, both at reasonable prices, good reviews and no RBG in sight, I'm fine with there being blingy cases for those who enjoy it

          • @TimR31: People can have whatever they want. I lament that people want blinged out ovens. In a sane world there should be no demand for hot cases and making one should mean you've made something unsaleable. RGB should be an afterthought for those who want extra bling, not a primary consideration and a standard. In reality a lot of people buying PCs have no idea about them.

    • tbh it's not the worst, the whole top is open. supports like 5 fans, you'll get enough airflow I reckon.

      • The CPU maybe just maybe ok in this configuration, especially during light use. With the 3080 taking up most of the length of the case, there's going to be little in the way of air getting in from the top to cool it. If you had a less powerful graphics card maybe the top would be enough. As it stands that's a huge compromise that may affect performance or longevity of the system.

  • +3

I'm tempted. What are the build times looking like?

    • +3

If it helps, when I purchased their black friday 3080 deal it was built within a day and I was able to collect the day after purchase.

  • +1

A bit more than this deal: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/684744

But you'll get EVGA and bigger nvme plus bonus HDD.

    • +1

Case in the TechFast build likely to flow better too

    • Yeah, i bought the 5600x ver. and this build is definitely much better and cheaper.

  • +2

Can not recommend with this case, the EVGA FTW3 3080 is one, if not the most power hungry 3080's and can draw up to 400W. In a case like this with no intake it cooks it. With a similar case I was getting temperatures in the 80's.

Main thing that was annoying was that its fans needed to run at 2300rpm to keep it at that, so it was pretty loud

    • It also is one of the highest performing. Don't forget your PC only uses the additional power when the card demands it.

  • +5

Can I change the case? Happy to pay more

    • +2

I second this. It'd be an instant buy if we could get a better case option with airflow in mind. Same goes with an option to change out the CPU cooler. Pretty much the only things holding me back from pulling the trigger.

      • Exactly my thoughts.
I admit I am new to PC builds but from what I understand the case size is small because of micro-ATX motherboard. If a micro-ATX can still be used in a regular size case then I would instantly buy this instead of waiting for Easter sales.

    • +1

      Third this

    • +1

Same - can you offer a different case or no case?

    • +3

      Hi anarkyz,

Please check the new case upgrade option! We put both Deepcool & NZXT Cases.

      Cheers,
      BPC Team

  • +1

Just take a cordless with a 6mm drill bit and create ya own air flow :)

  • +1

Has anyone had experience as a customer with BPC’s service or builds?

    • +7

      I have… EOFY 2021… Ordered Kraken Gaming PC with a 3070… Build only took a week & I was happy with that…
Didn't want it going through the post so drove 45 minutes to collect.
Got home & NO RGB was working & two programs set up for the RGB were not working as well as all fans were set for exhaust instead of a mixture intake/exhaust.
Rang BPC Tech & asked if I bring PC back will they look at it on the spot if we book a time. Got told "NO" as technicians were busy building more PC's & I would need to leave it with them for at least 7 days.
I explained that I have purchased & paid in full for a PC not working correctly & this was bullshit.
Anyway being PC illiterate as I am, I agreed to drop it off but the day before I was to drop it off we went into COVID Lockdown again… if I had of dropped of my PC it could have taken months before I got it back.

Eventually I ended up finding someone close to home & paid myself to have issues corrected. That is how I know of things wrong with my PC.

Sorry for long winded story but didn't want to just say they were terrible without explanation.

      • +4

        Wow
        Thanks for sharing your experience.

      • +2

Thanks for that, with all the deals going up, this will help me decide. I am in SA and dropping it off so they can fix their own build problem is not an option for me. Titan Tech and Tech Fast seem to be very competitive at the moment so will HODL for now.

      • +2

Good on you for in depth explanation

  • I am using this case with 3 arctic fans in the font for intake, and its got plenty airflow, the case is so compact and looks really amazing, the mesh holes in the front panel sides are generous, also there is a bit of a opening on the bottom of the front panel that works as a air intake, love how the side panel is just held by magnets, great of those who love to display something in the case.

    • What's your GPU and temps?

Most people buying a pre-built won't be installing extra fans themselves either, and will (rightly) expect it to work out of the box. This is a 3080 system with 1x120mm exhaust fan. Just not good enough for $2500

  • is the bonus HDD installed

    • Hi rw,

Yes we will install the HDD for you.

      Regards,
      BPC Team

  • Is there any possibility I can buy this without the RAM or SSD for less?

    • +1

      Hi Danm02,

I will ask the sales team to see if it is possible!

      Cheers,
      BPC Team

      • Or the ability to upgrade to a Gen 4 M.2 instead? Either would be perfect!

        • You can check the new MP600 SSD upgrade option :)

      • Hi rep, did the sales team get back to you? :)

        • Hi danm02 ,

If you are able and willing to assemble the system yourself, we are happy to ship you all the parts without SSD or Ram.

          Cheers,
          BPC Team

          • @BPC Technology: Any possibility you guys can just assemble it without the SSD/RAM included? tbh I'm not 100% comfortable with assembling the full PC myself, would rather leave it to the pros lol

            • @dm02: Hi Danm02,

As we provide 2 Year Gaming PC warranty, we prefer to ship the PC fully assembled to avoid unnecessary warranty issues.

              Cheers,
              BPC Team

      • Keen to know, since I already bought a gen 4 M.2

        • Hi Mecuboi,

If you are willing and able to assemble the system yourself, we are happy to ship you all the parts without SSD.

          Cheers,
          BPC Team

          • @BPC Technology: that's cool! do we still get the bundle price - the ssd price or do we have to order parts individually?

  • Does B550M mortar come with WIFI ?

  • Hi changunsw,

    It's the non-wifi model.

    Regards,
    BPC Team

    • Can we add the option to swap to the Wifi version as there is no much price difference

      • Hi Changunsw,

The cost difference between the wifi model and non-wifi model is $30.

Unfortunately, the MSI MAG B550M Mortar Wi-Fi Motherboard is out of stock in our store.

        Regards,
        BPC Tem

  • Hi is there a possibility to swap this for a i5 12600k? Happy to pay the difference.

    • Hi Lummii,

I would like to offer you the upgrade. However, we don't have the i5 12600K CPU in stock.

I will let you know once it's back in stock!

      Cheers,
      BPC Team

      • That's no problem! Do you guys happen to have any CPU's on hand that has integrated graphics?

        • Hi Lummii,

We found that the ETA for i5 12600K CPU is the following Monday. We can do the upgrade for you. If you would like to proceed with the upgrade, please private message us to send us your details to do the upgrade for you.

          Cheers,
          BPC Team

          • @BPC Technology: How much is the upgrade? I'm interested. Any ETA on upgrades for CPU cooling or motherboards? Should I just message you to work it out?

            • +1

              @OverburdenedWarrior: Hi OverburdenedWarrior,

We sent you a private message! Just to confirm all the details with you!

              Cheers,
              BPC Team

  • Final thing before I put this through, any chance of being able to upgrade the CPU cooler? Love the new case options.

    • +1

      Hi OverburdenedWarrior,

Let me know which CPU cooler you looking at the moment, and I will talk to the sales team!

      Cheers,
      BPC Team

      • I'm not sure on clearances, I usually go big or go home with a giant Noctua NH-D15 (Black), but I'm not sure whether it'll fit in the Deepcool Matrexx 50 Mesh 4fs. I'm looking at getting the 5600X version.

Happy for whatever air coolers you recommend that perform better than stock and will fit in that case, then I'll chuck the order in.

        Cheers.

        • +2

It looks like the Noctua NH-D15 (Chromax.Black) will fit, I checked Noctua's case compatibility page

The Deepcool Matrexx 50 Mesh 4fs isn't listed but I cross checked the specs of that against the Deepcool Matrexx 50 which does show on Noctua's compatibility page and they have the same dimensions.

Both cases show a CPU Cooler Height Limit of 160mm. But Noctua's NH-D15 shows it has a height of 165mm with fan attached..

So take my information with a grain of salt I guess? Sorry I can't give you a definite answer.

          • @JayManic: Thanks for checking into that! I've been using a Noctua NH-U12 on my 3930K for the last nine/ten years and it's still going strong, so I'm happy to fork out the extra.

            • +1

@OverburdenedWarrior: No problem, as I said the 2 Noctua pages sort of contradict each other but hopefully it will fit. All the best with the new PC if you order it!
I'm also looking at a new PC, love seeing all these deals starting to pop up again.. The hard part is choosing which one best suits my needs 😆

      • Looking over models that you have on hand, I'd say these are decent upgrades for both Intel/AMD builds:
(Note: I'm primarily considering coolers that include two fans.)

Deepcool Gammaxx 400 Pro CPU Cooler
Noctua NH-D15 Multi Socket PWM Chromax Black CPU Cooler (Providing it'll fit in said case)

        AMD:
Cooler Master Hyper 212 LED Turbo ARGB Black
Cooler Master Hyper 212 LED Turbo White Edition
        Cooler Master MasterAir MA610P RGB
        Cooler Master MasterAir MA620P RGB

There's probably others, but if you can provide some dual fan CPU cooler upgrades that'll work with that case then I'll place my order. I'm open to suggestions on what you think would be best.

        Thanks.

  • Now that the case upgrades are available this seems decent.

I think I still prefer the techfast 12700F version for not much more (although techfast don't have pickup if local) but this still seems decent and there will be no difference from the CPU for gaming https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/684513

  • Is it possible to do this build but with an upgrade to a 12gb 3080?

    • Hi BarkSnarly,

Sorry, we don't offer any GPU upgrades at this moment.

      Cheers,
      BPC Team

  • Can I do C&C in Victoria? Thanks!

    • +1

      Hi viva76,

Yes we do, you can choose the Instore click & collect in the shipping options when you check out.

      Cheers,
      BPC Team

  • 3060 to build?

  • Sorry to be a pain in the ass, I'm now considering the Intel build after some further research. Would it be possible to provide a motherboard upgrade option to a board that supports full 7.1 audio (the five 3.5mm jacks). I'm still rocking a Razer Tiamat V2 that requires them.

    • I'll even gather the options as my penance for being a pain. Based on your website, these boards are in stock and fit the requirement at a reasonable price:

      ASRock Z690 PG Riptide
      MSI PRO Z690-A DDR4
      MSI PRO Z690-A
      ASRock Z690 Extreme
      ASRock Z690 Extreme WiFi 6E

Huh. That's every board below $500. Seems like they're finally phasing it out. Anyway, whatever you can do motherboard and CPU cooler wise will really help. Once the options are live just let me know and I'll order my brand new PC!

      Thanks again.

      • Or perhaps it'd be better to remain AMD? Who knows! If it's easier for you I can stick with AMD and the B550M which has onboard 7.1. In that case I'd just need some CPU cooler upgrade options instead. I'm finding conflicting information on which performs better at 1440p.

This is what happens when you don't build a new PC for nine or ten years. Now my old i7-3930K can be outclassed by a mid-range i5!

  • what is the NZXT H11 Flow? Never heard or could find online. Do you mean NZXT H10 flow as the upgrade? and it is black or white?? Please give us the option to change the motherboard to a wifi version such as a z690 6e..

    • Hi edwardysh,

Yes, it's the H510 flow case, and the colour is back.

Let me know which mobo you are looking for then I can talk to the sales team about the upgrade cost.

      Regards,
      BPC Team

      • Yeah sent you a message and keen to pull the trigger if you can upgrade the motherboard to a wifi version

  • +1

The only delivery option is Aramex Parcel(RED) which costs around $30. However, there are tonnes of negative reviews of Aramex deliveries online, with issues such as no signature on delivery, and failure to deliver. Is it safe to get this PC delivered??

    • +1

      Hi lc0,

It'sacutally a shipping API integration issue.

Aramex only covers insurance up to $1500.

Therefore for orders over $1500, our warehouse will select Auspost or TNT as the courier.

But on the web front end, it still shows Aramex.

      Cheers,
      BPC Team

      • Hi I've purchased a PC from you 2 weeks ago.

Based on your comment you are shipping from Aus post or TNT however my ones getting shipped by SF Express.

I tried contacting SF express but they have zero customer service as any calls made just goes straight to extended hold or voicemail.

        • Hi anarkyz,

What is your order number? Let me look into it now.

          Cheers,
          BPC Team

          • @BPC Technology: BPC000135288-1

            • @anarkyz: Hi Anarkyz,

This is your tracking number: 080082727647

And here is the tracking url https://www.sf-express.com/cn/en/dynamic_function/waybill/

              • @BPC Technology: May I ask why did you guys go down the route of choosing SF express as a courier as opposed to TNT or AUS post like you mentioned?

                • @anarkyz: Hi,

SF Express joined us recently as our new delivery partner. And I talked to the warehouse team, and they told me that since SF Express covers the insurance as much as TNT & Auspost provides for customers, they chose SF as one of the couriers to deliver the PC orders.

        • Yeah I was quite annoyed when I saw it was some random courier. Picked up 15th, eta 24th. Such a long delivery time. Hope it at least comes in one piece.

  • rtx 3080 and other GPUs have dropped 35% or so in price. please make new builds.
