Is this a bargain or just an ad?

    • Deals, Coupons, Vouchers, Discounts and Freebies - OzBargain

    • Should start charging for ads placed on OzBargain :)

      Ask the admins:

"Unlike other online communities/forums, at OzBargain we encourage merchants, service providers or store owners to post their deals on OzBargain. The reason is simple – if it is a good bargain, we want to know about it!"

You yourself know this isn't a deal.

    • But this is expired

    • +3

Now all you need is a good deal on a time machine and you're all set my friend!

      • +1

They come every month so there's no need for a time machine.

        • Exactly… GnR said it the best:

All we need is just a little patience…

What does 50% off a monthly Sim starter pack have to do with this deal?

      • +1

Buy the $40 pack for $20 and put it toward the $150 “plan”. Effectively $150 “plan” for $130. Better than this deal.

        • Assuming the deal comes back before OP expires… Which I doubt Woolies will do.

This is a good deal! You can't do much better.

I've been with Aldi, TPG, Optus, Voda, Virgin, Boost and am currently with Woolies. No complaints and the 10% off a shop is a big bonus.

  • Thanks OP, partner was going to order the 6months, but that's even better.

  • If you have at least 1 shop each month that's $117+ the 10% savings pays off this phone plan.

Looks like the max you can get off a Woolies shop each month is $50 off a $500 spend.

  • I’m already with Woolworths Mobile but my husband is with Belong(however the account is in my name). I am going to port him over soon now that Belong has increased its fee. I presume I will still only be entitled to the 10% off once a month? Also do I have to order the sim on line or can I buy it from the supermarket? Thanks.

    • +2

Get him to have his own rewards card, you can link to this even if it’s in your name. Of course keep the account seperate, which it should be as a prepaid account.

    • In your case it'd probably be wisest if possible to complete a Change of Ownership with Belong into your husbands details, then port him into Woolworths Mobile and link his own Rewards card.

With regards to instore/online, the $10 off promo is online only, alternatively you can purchase a SIM instore and activate it on the $150 plan (but, no $10 off)

      • I currrently have a woolworths rewards promo going where if I spend $70 a week for 4 weeks straight I get 6500 points. If I buy this in store will it count towards that $70 spend?

  • Can I grab a $2 sim from a store and port my number over?

    • Yes, but OP is online only

      • Eh might just have to pay the $150, still a good deal but I can't afford to wait the 2-3 weeks quoted for delivery time.

  • aha OP Woolworths mobile hitting hard at you promoting them here ?

Who knows may be they got a social media policy similar to bunnings.

anyway dont think you are a bad person at all, Great at sharing decent deals, but just be careful. I dont want anything bad to nice big hearted people.

    • I assume you're referring to the disclaimer at the end of my post! I enjoy posting here (and post a lot of WWM deals because they're the main ones I know about)

Just need to keep the interests of everybody - including my employer - in mind :)

      • Yes i haven't read such disclaimer from you in the past. So commented that. I assume Woolworths itself might had questioned you like why are you helping so many people who didn't contact on woolworths mobile customer care number etc. or i dont know, anyway that's none of my business.

  • I can’t see any international calls included - are they?

    • Allowance for International calls and other non-included types of usage (including international and satellite SMS, satellite calls, video calls and video MMS) set to $0 initially

PAYG International and Other Add-on must be purchased to make calls and send messages to international and satellite numbers and use extra services such as video calls and video MMS to Australian numbers, Dial IT Time and Weather, Directory Assistance, and SMS to 13/1300/18/1800 numbers. You can purchase this add-on in $10 or $30 denominations.

  • This is the info I was looking for:
Woolworths Mobile does not currently offer the 5G network but rest assured we will keep you updated as roll-out progresses.

  • FYI Coles Mobile has 365 days for $99 inc Unlimited talk/text to 15 countries (on Optus Network).
I bought Boost 200 365days 100GB for $152 which has the full Telstra Network, inc International calls, WIFI call and Voip, I think it is worth the extra $12 as already have the 10% Woollies a month discount through insurance policy.

    • You could link the mobile service to another wow rewards card to get 2* 10% off shopping.
Also 4% off wow gift card. Potentially paying for the whole plan. Most people would WhatsApp overseas by now.

      • Thanks, I don't use much the International calls, but its definitely good to have for some people, but the WIFI calling is a huge advantage.. I already have access to 5% Wish / Woollies gift card anyway and understand you can get another 10% off if buy on-line from Woollies, wont be worth the headache / hassle to create another Rewards account.

      • I got 4 cards link to 4 family members so I get 10% each week of a month. Works out to be free calls for everyone.

  • Just signed up last week for full price. Fml. Been a bad ozb month so far

  • Can you usually port these to Telstra on the jb gc deals?

    • -1

      Not officially.

  • I just bought this deal but didn't realise it will take 10 days for it to process however my Boost prepaid ends in 4 days and I don't want to lose my number.

Does anyone know the best / cheapest service to port into from Boost and port back into Woolworths Mobile when I get my Sim?

    Thank you!

Was on Woolworths mobile chat and keeps on disconnecting me!
