[eBay Plus] Umidigi A9 Pro 4GB+64GB $127 Delivered @ Umidigi-Au-Official eBay

130
PLUSTEC

Hope I made a good decision. We will see.

I've had a Umidigi Bison for eight months and like it. This is for son.

Yes, the A9 Pro is Umidigi (no updates expected), an old P60 processor, Android 10, camera stats are inflated …

But, the price, stock Android 10, price, thermometer, metal frame, camera not that awful if not as good as claimed, price, thermometer (it's infrared), processor's OK, not Android GO, the price …

The Bison (8GB, $240) has been great, but I had a $100 Nokia and an ancient Apple before that to compare. I've taken underwater photos in the creek, dropped it a few times. It's got a small chip in the bottom right. I really like it. Hope I like this one too.

  • My dad's Umidigi A3 Pro just died after 27 months. For the last 13 months, it's always thought it was connected to a charger, but other than that, no issues.

Iffy for a year and died after two.

      “No issues”

      • +4

        other than that

        It didn't affect its functionality.

Over 2 years for a $125 phone is a damn good run in my books.

My mother in law has been using a Samsung Galaxy A20 for two years that cost $129, still works perfectly and actually hasn’t had any issues.

Only recently upgraded her to a Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, she’s still using the old phone with her previous number.

@Mitch889: I have an A20… its reliable… unfortunately, but its the worst combo of hardware i've ever experienced in a modern phone

my experience with the A9 Pro runs rings around it

    • Was the battery level constantly at 100%?

      • I believe the battery level reported correctly.

  • I had a couple of Umidigi phones. Never again. Reliability is questionable and no support from them.

The specs on this were a lot better than I expected.

    • +1

yeah the specs is how they get you in

expect odd after sales support here is Aus (of course) and indifferent patch support (you expect this on non mainstream products)

i had one bad experience with the a7 but the others one i've used in my family have been good… at the time a $200 phone thats 8gb 128gb rom and of course MTK insides

if it lasts 2yrs you're done well

had no issues with durability or software, hard to complain

the A7 I'm expecting is the problem unit which you shouldnt buy, the A9/11 seems to be solid, obviously you are getting a basic Android experience

My daughter has been using one of these and seems fine, she hasnt complained lol she previously has an S8

Never Umdigi again , my A7 pro died on me. Will not switch on. Tried the power button volume up/down combo. No luck. Buyer beware.

My Samsung S7 did the same…
