  • So what's the discount? This looks like their normal price…

  • it's a Cheap 32gb usb that's the deal

  • +1

I think it is a good price- at a retail store ( cheaper can be had online - $22ish)

but does anyone really need a 32gb USB 2.0?

At its maximum write speed its going to take (1 hour and 7 minutes) to fill it up - and it wont operate at maximum speed.

    • $22ish is a bargain. about 66cents per gig.

      $22ish where?

    • -1

$22 is a good price but then factor in, Delivery - Australia Wide $19 (Estimated delivery: 4-7 days stock permitting) for a little usb i think i would walk into Dicks, the price was taken from http://www.netplus.com.au/product/MYUSLE21-0032/32Gb_Lexar_J…

      • $19 delivery for a USB stick?

        • yeah i know it's a ripoff but someone wanted info about the cheap $22 usb so i made a account with netplus a site i found that had 32gb usb for $22 and they charge $19 for a usb stick, still i think the $28 usb is good i got one to try out and it works fine for me, its good just to have a USB full of tv shows and crap to take when you go and see your mates.

It's a good price (esp for DSE) but not a bargain or unusual price OP, though I can understand the confusion - memory prices have come down ALOT recently. In comparison MSY has 32gb for $27, $28 for a Kingston, or $29 for a Sandisk. http://www.msy.com.au/Parts/PARTS.pdf

But it is a good find for DSE, and some people are a bit strict, so I'll give you a + ;)

Also EMTEC is a well known name in data storage and associated technologies, they have been around for ages!

  • Do not like something being called c400 when it's a slow usb2 drive.

Very misleading considering the c400 by micron is a fast ssd.

Back in the days…We listened to music and could record onto cassette tapes. That is where I am reminded of EMTEC. =D Good old days.

      nah.. its BASF :P

    Not a deal.

my local computer shop has 32GB USB sticks for $22.
thats a cheaper bargain for me.

Holy crap Emtec are still around?

I remember buying CD-R's from them circa 2004-2006, when they switched from BASF to Emtec.

I'd take the s550 USB 3.0 drive, this is too slow for me, especially for that capacity. Itll cost you about $20 of your time just to watch this fill up with data.

    • Agreed a USB3 pen drive over a USB2 any day of the week.

Does it come with Windows 3.1 drivers ?
