    • To be fair, every industry only cares about money

      • -2

yes but those industries are not spreading virus varients all over the world.

    • +3

Ironically, if anyone needs a holiday it’s this guy.

      • -2

there is plenty of time for holidays. Just not during a PANDEMIC. People don't seem to get it or they don't give a sh$t about causing problems for OTHER PEOPLE.

        • +1

Maybe this deal is not for you. Stay safe, stay at home

          • -1

@ozsandyb: its not for anyone because people should be doing the right thing and not spreading the virus.

            • -2

@kungfuman: there is no virus. the whole lot of you are being controlled by tyrants like Andrews.

Its just all one giant scam.

              • @RexHavoc: if only that were true people die from this, I know someone that has.

    • I just came back from Thailand and they are still imposing wearing of masks outdoors (even when riding a bike!) and compliance was much higher than what i've seen in Australia! They also do mandatory temperature checks on entry to the majority of stores so i'd say it's probably the other way around!

      • -1

unlike Australians that don't care and don't wear masks, or social distance or follow covid rules at all. its not the people in those countries I am worried about its the Australian's going over there and then bringing something back and spreading it in Australia.

        • -1

no virus its all a sham

people have been dropping dead for as long as humans have existed.

          • @RexHavoc: if only that were true but I happen to know people that actually died from this. So enjoy wonderland because its just as fake as your opinion.

          • @RexHavoc: Wait. Not every human that has ever lived is still alive? Huge news if true.

            • @Miso: Thats it. Virus or no Virus they still drop dead. There is no virus.

    Any business class?

Still waiting for refund for a cancelled flight in Jan from Thai Airways….

    • -1

Think of it as a donation to help a struggling business.

    • -2

and hear lies another reason why you don't travel during a PANDEMIC.

    • +2

I'm still waiting for a refund of a flight from December (which was a dearer refundable airfare).

Personally I'd recommend avoiding Thai Airways and Thailand in general at the moment.

Thailand is still actively trying to fleece tourists with over the top quarantine hotel costs if you test positive on arrival (and also using excessive PCR test cycle thresholds). I wouldn't recommend travelling to Thailand for tourism until they drop the PCR testing on arrival.

      • I know travellers who are still waiting on refunds from 2020 from Thai Airways. AFAIK Thai Airways has no intention to refund travellers.

        • Those refunds though were from before Thai Airways went through bankruptcy proceedings. There's no reason for them to not be paying out refunds now, other than they are basically stealing people's money.

          • @stewy: Exactly! I can understanding wanting a bit of time to refund customers but at this point Thai Airways is just trying to keep the money.

Won’t be booking with them again until they clean up their act. Singapore airlines on the other hand refunded my ticket in full within a few days. All online no fuss.

  • Anything from Brisbane?

  • Wow this is cheaper than flying to Sydney from Melbourne …

This is stupid … don't they want people to visit Australia ?

So why is overseas so much cheaper :(

    • no one wants people to come here because we don't want more varients of covid.

Time stay at the same place as Warnie and get a pedicure from the same masseuse’s that serviced him an hour before he died.
