    Just had a call from Sydney Tools and they confirmed the price error, however Bosch is honouring and sending the kit direct. Kudos to Bosch and Sydney Tools.

    Bloke from Syndey Tools Moorrabbin called me and said they will honor the deal. He said there isn't any stock, as the kit doesn't actually exist yet .
    He advised they have asked Bosch to put the kit together and head office will ship it directly , once its done . There is no eta at the moment .
    Sydney tools will amend the invoices at some point in the future

    Still waiting for the call but the signs are looking positive. Who ever made whatever error, they (ST and Bosch) have got more loyalty and customers in their ecosystem from this action. Good work!

    i also just got a call from Syndey Tools Blackburn VIC saying it was pricing error but they will honor the purchase.

    • Hope Sydney Tools and Bosch come through with the goods for you.
      If there is anything by way of info or whatever that you got from the Blackburn store that could help my/our cause getting orders honoured that would be very much appreciated.

      • they just called me, i only know the guy's name is Nick, he said it won't be a click and collect order anymore and that Sydney tools head office will send it out to me directly instead so it will be in 5 to 10 business days.

        there was no email written confirmation, I'm soley relaying on his word that this is confirmed and when he said they will honor it even knowing full well this was a pricing error on their end, Nick said they will still honor it.

        wish i could be more of an help but thats all i have so far.

    I spoke to Sydney tools call centre and the lady said send me through your email order and anything else you can supply as evidence but unlikely we can honour. So those above if there is something from ST to say they are honouring the deal can you please post here or PM.

      Unfortunately I have no written confirmation at present . I did ask for written conformation , I was told head office is working on it.

    That's pretty amazing to see it being honoured. Might be a bit of luck to see if one gets the deal or not.

    I didn't receive any call, but I have received a notice from AusPost app about a parcel coming from Sydney Tools. However it was picked up at the Airport, not the store. Hopefully it is not the two pieces Battery pack lol.

      They sent me an email stating a new invoice would be issued yesterday, but still nothing. I don't know about you guys but I'm starting to feel uneasy.

    I spoke to their online chat again to see if there's an update. Person said they've got a "team working on it". Whatever that means.

    • Give them some time, there’s a lot to organise if the above reports are true.

      • I'm in no rush. I'm only concerned about receiving a battery pack out of the blue. I'd rather them not stuff it up and just process the refund in that case.

        • Oh yeah me too. I sent them an email stating that the order confirmation =/ invoice and to make sure they send as per the order confirmation, just in case.

          Pretty sure they are into it though.

  • From the email I got I reckon what they gonna do is reissue a new invoice and expect us to pay the difference. There is a difference between an invoice and a tax receipt. So I reckon the 289 will quickly go to 600-700 bucks. No mention of honouring the deal on my end and I’m in Melbourne.

          Otherwise they would have just cancelled and refunded by now.

          • @john_conner: In my view they should reissue the tax receipt not the tax invoice, invoice tells me what is owed not what you have paid, that’s my concern.

            • @thehulk1969: Ahh I see what you’re saying.
              From my experience it’s called the tax invoice before and after you’re paid, but only generally issued after payment in a retail setting (unless you have payment terms, but we don’t have trade accounts so I think we’re safe in this instance!)

    • I received the same email. Fingers crossed they just honour it. Have the screenshots of what we purchased and I feel like they would've cancelled now if they weren't going to honour it.

        Thanks OP for the listing and Sydney Tools have now got a new long term customer (if they honour it!).

          I'm placing my bets on them mucking you around with long wait times until sometime around September, at which point you will get a refund. Or just get ghosted, requiring you to request a refund through your CC company / Paypal / Latitude / whoever you used.

    Ok, so deal is finally looking like confirmed. Got the email, now just wait. Hope they build the kit with items as per the listing. They have almost saved it from becoming an usual PR disaster, price error blah blah situation. Must say well managed.

  • I got the email aswell, do you reckon it'll be just the two drills + 1x battery + charger, or that plus a second battery?

    • Not sure but as someone reasonably invested in Dewalt ecosystem, this will give me options if I get all that was sold! It is important as Bosch has 6years WTY on batteries as well! So let's see if they can make some small inroads with this error. Not many errors help in a positive manner.

    I got the same confirmation e-mail.

    Hopefully we get the listed items:

    I wonder do we get the bluetooth modules and a case?

      • There was no case listed in the deal , are they gonna give it to us in a cardboard box?

        On this model are the blutooth modules an extra or are they included ?

    I just received a full refund an hour ago from ST thru my Lattitudepay. I did not asked to cancel my order since they offer me to wait for the original posted item. Does this mean I have no combo drills to look forward to?
    I too received ST email offering me to wait for the new invoice. They cancel my order without my permission. Shocking!!!

    I just called ST Preston VIC regarding my full refund (aka unauthorised cancellation) and the guy said he has no idea about it and that he can not trace it on their system. No luck for me.

    Received the same email saying they will honour it but there will be a delay. Don't really need the tools as I have a cheaper version of these tools already (but a different brand). Should I tell them to cancel my order or would that be crazy? Does anyone know what these are actually worth?

        Good question. Couldn’t resist a bargain I guess! They are an upgrade over my Ozitos but if I’m honest I don’t need them as I use the Ozitos only occasionally. I think I will just tell them to cancel the order. Unless someone on here that missed out wants them (and can pick them up from me in Sydney).

  • Only update i've had, is that they are looking at my transaction. I never got a receipt or email confirmation but the transaction of $289 was taken out of my bank.
