There is a $4.00 monthly account keeping fee. It is waived if:

  • You deposit $1800.00 each month OR
  • All account owners are under 25 years of age as at the last day of the month OR
  • You have a Newcastle Permanent home loan in the same name/s as your Everyday Account (which would make you ineligible for this offer)

To be eligible for the offer, open a new Everyday Account either online by using the campaign code ‘bonus50’ or in branch and mention this offer; between 05/04/2022 and 30/06/2022 and make at least one card purchase on the account within 30 days of opening.       Most credit unions operate with a single BSB.

      Of the banks, St George uses 112-879 for most accounts, Suncorp uses 484-799 for most accounts, Bank of Queensland uses 124-001 for all accounts (even if the account is domiciled to a branch both work), Macquarie Bank uses 182-182 for their retail and home loan accounts.

      I think you still can open an account and spend even though you’re in arab saudi. The only difference is that your spending thru card will get charged as international transaction

      should do but i recommend chosing two id types to sign up if you are interstate as mine at first got declined using a single id DL. any one else in the same boat? then i called them and they say system declined it as i was interstate not near any branches and it was under review as they wanted more info so they emailed me forms to go to a Post office. I simply just reapplied online using a different email and mobile number with 2 id types and got approved. however they called me to check it was me to confirm i made two applications.

      because you signed up from another State other than NSW? same happened to me haha, they will ask you why you signed up and then remove the block

      It says it’s by the end of the next month after you become eligible, so if you did everything required in April, I’m guessing that means by the end of May? Will keep an eye out either way and report back if I get the bonus earlier

      Was told by them you can do it in the app. Click on the mail icon in the top left to send a secure message and ask they close the account. It must have a zero balance.

          When did you complete the offer though. I signed up mid April and made a cleared purchase by 29 April. So May was the end of the next month. If you bought in May then you’ll get in June?

        I came very late but just in time, blocked online due to ID issues, which seems to be the norm for me, they emailed me Postal ID documents, figured they wouldn't arrive in time, Newcastle Perm rang me yesterday to tell me ID verification done, today 29th I then created the account and had just managed to slip through before the cut off date, my bonus won't arrive until the .. either start or end of Aug, think it'll be the end of Aug as I cannot do a card transaction until the card arrives in early July
