Isn't this the usual price for these tickets from this promoter?

    • +1

Sometimes it's $9.95. It might be depending on the venue.

Do you need to be fully vaccinated to attend?

    • +1

Unless you think you are above NoVac, then you may get away!! Just kidding

    • +3

Most venues have attended recently that are part of the Comedy Festival have requested sighting of my Covid vaccination certificate.

That should put that info on the website so anti-vaxxers don't waste their money and purchase tickets they can't use.

        • It's one of the very well known government mandates… It's not their responsibility to tell the people about government restrictions & if you choose not to be vaccinated.

            @Troymdon:

It's not their responsibility to tell the people about government restrictions

It is their responsibility to tell people conditions for entry…

            Most other places do.

@jv: Again, this is a government regulation. Unless you've been hiding under a rock, it's something you should be aware of. Plus this is a third party sales site, selling tickets to multiple venues, across a number of states.

For Reuben Kaye, there is a link to the information page on MCIF website which also clearly states the requirement for all their events. The information is there if you bother to look.

                @Troymdon:

Again, this is a government regulation.

So are lots of other things, they still notify people who purchase tickets…

                eg. alcohol restrictions.

if they don't give you the details, they would be obliged to refund you if they refuse entry.

            • @jv: So the information is there… but you don't see hotel listings on Wotif/booking.com explaining regulations around responsible service of alcohol in hotel bars or even the mini bar… but that's also a government regulation.

But also, all the information was easily available from each show… Literally two clicks.

              • @Troymdon:

all the information was easily available from each show… Literally two clicks.

                I didn't see it when I looked. that's why i asked.

The 48 events in Melbourne are 95% MICF, the other three are MILLIONAIRE HOT SEAT - Studio Audience, BEN SORENSEN'S TRIVIA EXPERIENCE and THE OTHER ART FAIR - Melbourne 2022. Theatre is out of stock.

@Promotix, can you please add filters? This would have been so much easier if I was able to filter out the comedy.

It’s not free if you have to pay something…

If you are open minded, not easily offended and like a good cabaret then go to REUBEN KAYE - The Butch Is Back.

We had a brilliant time. Sort of a Rocky Horror vibe but even more so. Man that guy can sing and dance.

    • go to REUBEN KAYE

      only if you like camping…

Man, he is an entire tent city. But he isn’t going to apologise for it and, quite frankly, he would kick the butt of anyone who tried anything. He is tall and buff.

        One of his jokes
“I was raised by Jews and reared by Catholics”.

        • He looks funny.
          Is it suitable for kids?

          • +1

@jv: The jokes might go over the heads of baby goats. It would be a touch loud for them as well.

  • Garry Star is always entertaing, sadly we're not seeing him this year, as his show ends after the last midnight train leaves!

We've seen a few shows on the list, Ivan was great, Bec Melrose was terrible, Michael Sharfar mainly does jewish jokes which we didn't get at all.

    • Went to Michael Sharfar’s show and I didn’t seem to have a problem understanding the jokes even though I’m not Jewish. I, supposes, it depends on what you have read and seen.
