iPad smart cover also works on new iPad. Was hoping to get it from gg for $35 with gift card but they won't do it without purchase on an iPad. And they didn't have the new iPad in stock.

Let me know if there are any places cheaper.

      A stylus is redundant for 99% of people using an iPad. It and the iPhone were specifically designed to not require a stylus. You may be too young to remember pre iPhone and iPad tablets which ran a variety of operating systems but always required a stylus for input.

          Saw some YouTube review on fake covers some are great just like the real thing others are pretty bad. So I guess it's a bit of hit and miss.

          i got one for 12 bucks off ebay and they are really bad. they barley lasted 2 months before the stiches started falling off. i mean its not so bad that you cant use it but it looks yuck with all the stiches hanging loose

    The $40 Apple plastic versions are only in Pastel colours which doesn't suit my Macho image. I bought a black one from Amazon UK for around $15 delivered.

    If this is the iPad 2 smart cover, the magnet is in a different place so will not put the iPad (3rd Gen) to sleep or wake it up.

        $45 for iPad (3rd Gen) smart covers at JB, alot better than trying older version covers.

    There would be bargains if there are sales going on, these were half price @$19.99 online at Dick Smith not very long ago.

    But at $39.98, it's just Dick Smith's usual price, even if it is currently not any cheaper elsewhere.

    Only worthy of a deal if Dick Smith lowers the current price on the Smart Covers or if another retailer goes <$39.98

    If you need the Smart Covers now, I guess DSE might have the lowest price so go there, but at $39.98, it definitely isn't a bargain.
