  • What's the cooling solution for the CPU here?

    • -1

      open the link

    • Stock intel fan and the cheapest upgrade is $135 for a Noctua U12S.

  • +2

Beware, this motherboard will throttle the i7 12700 performance

    Source: https://www.techspot.com/review/2432-intel-b660-motherboards…

If you're buying this you might want to have a fan pointing directly at the board's VRM heatsink

  • +10

OP, you say "We choose our parts carefully" and then you've picked a crappy motherboard, crappy SSD, below par cooling on a high end chip with and average at best PSU and case.

    • +6

chosen carefully to make a profit?

      • +6

Yeah, pretty much. Make OP a profit, while performing below par for anyone that unfortunately doesn't know any better and buys this

        • +3

yep, then comes the upsell to the more expensive parts for more dollars - this is the marketing way unfortunately

  • +2

Hey OP. The objective of these pre-built deals is to offer something that is cheaper than what someone can build it for themselves

  • +1

Well the last deal with the 3070ti was better.

  • +2

LOL, seems deals are going backwards with unpopular parts now …

  • +2

these prebuilds are getting worse even though prices are droppings?

  • -1

Hehe this is very overpriced. If we don't buy any GTX30 series graphic card the price will go down more than half in half year when 40 series are out. If we buy now those business will believe we like overpriced junk and keep pushing the price up for the 40 series.

  • Is it possible to change the case to something white

    • yes, we can arrange that, please message us regarding to that

      • Got anything new coming?

      • Hey, it's me from this post because the old post has been archived https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/667032

I sent you an email regarding my rig that was bought a few months ago RE the motherboard not having enough slots for the AOI cooler to work. ive seen another customer's review of your service and sent you another email to get the same results but perhaps you've missed my email? Let me know :) thanks!

  • Is that 12700 + 3070ti deal ever coming back? I feel like that was the best priced and balanced build out there, but it was sold out so quickly.
