Saw the other deal at JB for $1049 so tried looking around.

It has been out of stock for quite some time so this price is quite good if you have access.

I know Breville bought Lelit so maybe there is something new coming in the future? But for now you can't go wrong at this price point.

        I had the bes920 from launch without a single issue. I think it came out in 2013. I've sent it to the Philippines with my smart grinder when I "upgraded" to the oracle.
        Let me tell you the DB kicks the oracles ass

      I might be in same boat - can’t remember how long exactly but agree has been a beast. Typically makes 3+ coffees a day. Only thing I’ve needed to do was replace the group head seal (as split) which was pretty easy to do and cheap.

    Had mine 6 and a half years, 7500 shots, just started to get a leak on the steam wand. I have been very happy with it. Was expecting 2 years to 3 years life from it.

    Just picked mine up, sold my 5.4 year old machine to the local coffee repair guy on way home for $250 cash, also got the GG Concierge 5 year warranty, so all up cost me $799.

      Just grab one from JB for $1050 . I'm sure they'd slice another $50 if you went in store and asked them.

      By the time the next good Guys offer comes around you will have saved that $100 extra from not dropping $4.50 per cup!

        You win some, you lose some. But no pint feeling awful and waiting 6 months for the next deal - if that even ever comes.

          Indeed, why would you deprive yourself the enjoyment of a good cup of coffee every morning for 3 or 6 months just to save $100?!

          I must admit there are very few categories where I would take this stance but coffee machines is certainly one of them.

    A Tip for those using UNION SHOPPER. If you put a quote request through on their website for BES920BSS with the $897 price, they will get back to you with a price match, and that is exactly what they did. Within 10mins I was called and asked if I would like to buy from JB HIFI for $896. Win! Win! I might Add, Unionshopper have a quote request for many products. Good Luck!
