anyone know a good place to get genuine cheap windows 10 keys? just to save an inch

    • +1

      Taobao

    • TechSource from Youtube.

    • I get mine from Royalcdkeys

    • +3

Re-use from old PC? As long as it's a retail key and as long as you deactivate it on the old PC.
      That's what I do.
But at 2.4 Euros for Pro - get a new one if you prefer.

      • +3

Where can you buy it for that price?

        • Just looked on royalcdkeys as above. Assume it's legit
I wouldn't use it but others might.

      • I used my windows 7 key recently or new hardware and didn't need to do any deactivation or anything. Unless you mean for a Win 10 -> Win 10 usage.

        • Yes for 10 to 10.

      • Yeah I used my Win 7 serial from a 2010 laptop and did the "free" upgrade to Win 10.

      • Yeah - particularly old laptops have the cd key on the bottom sticker OR you can download a CD key retrieval app which reads it from the register.

You can use any Win 7/8/10 key from old desktop/prebuilts, I've been using the same Win 7 key for the past decade now between 7, 8, 10 & 11.

    • Looked on the bottom of a broken windows 7 laptop that hasn't turned on for about 6 years. Windows immediately accepted that and upgrades to windows 10

I hate these ads… everytime I think that looks awesome, I go and change a few things and im at 3000 quick smart :'(

Ye these builds are only good value with no/minimal upgrades.

  • Hi Luke, what model of 3070Ti you have in stock now for this build please?

    • -2

They will all be a mixture of local stock, not Gainward which we don't have any of at the moment. I can't specify brands or models for these unfortunately.

  • +2

Any chances of a 3060ti build with the 5600 non X and the gigabyte or similar motherboard? Adding the upgrades to the 'lower' end builds seems to increase the price quite a bit.

  • Hi Luke, from SA and still waiting for my 3080 build which I bought over 2 weeks ago. Can I get any confirmation as to when it will be shipped?

    • +4

Hi, and apologies (to you and all) for the 3080 builds taking longer than anticipated. It's all down to Toll, unfortunately. Tracking shows it was picked up on the 14th but got stuck in Melbourne and redirected to Sydney for whatever reason. They are the absolute pits. We and the distributors are chasing them with all manner of threats, curses and hexes.

      • Expecting a package from Toll prepares you for a stint in hell.

      • Thanks for the update, now understand it's not your guy's fault but Toll's.

      • Ahhhh man u use Toll. May have to rethink ordering. They lost an apple watch order and it took 2 months to resolve.

        • Not us - the distributor we bought this batch of cards from! We've told them before not to use Toll because of these sorts of things.

      • Toll used to be good until recently IMHO.
Lenovo uses them too and it reflects poorly on their brand.
There aren't many good couriers left now - I can recite the reallly bad ones.

        • I'm pretty sure only DHL remains good.

          • @maverickjohn: Usually really good.
I had one poor one with them a couple of weeks ago.
My mistake - Lenovo not using toll.

      • I had terrible experiences with Toll multiple times in the last 5 years. They were never good for me.

Might be an idea to email your customers advising theres a delay, ordered one on 3 April without an update.

  • got a w10 key vfast on Amazon. nudged seller along - no probs .

  • $20

  • Hi @luketechfast I ordered one of the 3070 Ti ones on the 24th of April. Still haven't received anything but the order confirmation email. Could you please tell me where things are?

    • We’re working through all of these and the 3080 orders last and this week, so it won’t be far off
