I said my daughter went to the zoo with my sister so my sister got free entry. Not have a baby with my sister (physically impossible anyway)

I tend to agree. Pretty crap for example if you’re an infertile woman or had multiple miscarriages. I’d prefer to see a broader term.
So you'd want it to be renamed to International Women's Day? For free?
I mean, if you are willing to show all that to a complete stranger just for free entry they probably wont deny it to you.. Or they could take their niece/nephew /teenager/anyone who looks young enough to be your kid.
It's MOTHERS day…. not Father's Day
Plus it's more so for the kids to get a day at the zoo.
