I have the 16gb version for work and I love it, not sure how the 8gb version would go. Would consider one for myself it this was the 16gb as well.

@jesho: Do you mean if the edu email address can also be used to get 10% discount on microsoft laptop? I think so, as long as the laptop has the word 'surface' on it. you can check the list on the application form dropdown.
If you mean whether they'll let you cancel your placed order and reorder with discount applied then I'm not too sure myself. Sorry 😅 !

Mind sharing some details? How long did TGG 10% so count take after requesting? How did you get it to apply despite it not being an eligible device - did you go in store?
Yes in store. I requested but they never sent it. It says they can apply it with student id but they didn't check it. Approval was done by team members manager. It was available on all Surface devices it's included. Only possible problem was where it says can't be used with any other offers and was unsure if catalogue was an offer.
FWIW, The Microsoft online store still seems to be selling the 8GB/i5/128GB SSD version of the Surface Pro 7+ for $899. A lot of the other online stores raised their prices after midnight of the 16th. I had one in my cart and was checking out on JB Hifi, went to change the legal name for the tax invoice and came back and the price went up by around $500….

Ahh! Thank you! My old Surface Pro 3 broke over the weekend. I was researching new ones last night and went in store to JB Hi-fi today only to be heartbroken at the higher price.
