    This looks like some decent stuff actually worth buying.
    Some of the Amazon reviews are mixed though. So hope the returns policy is good.

      What makes you think it's decent? A networking company like tplink struggles to put out devices with decent software or updates. I expect this'll be hit and miss at best.

        My experience is not great. Had one model of extender I bought 4 times (I bought in bulk to resell) all four replaced/refunded eventually after blowing it's internal psu. May have just been that model. Its the common one you see on Amazon and Jaycar sell it also. Maybe they are better now and with other models. But it turned me off the brand. In one scenario after a couple of replacements I gave up and put a Netgear in the same outlet. Been fine ever since. Lucky that Amazon replacement or refund is fantastic, no messing around.

    so yeah not sure about other products but for the particular wifi adapter linked in the 'go to deal', price after coupon is 34.99 while i paid 22.5 just 3 month ago…not sure if its a deal tbh

    it does work pretty well i will give it that much

    I am using the 1900Mbps adaptor (assuming 1800 is a typo) - works great - 1.1Gbps connection to the router (which admittedly is only 2m away) and no lag RDPing into my work desktop like I get with cheapo adaptors.

    I think you would struggle to find better at this price.
