      • Yep, aside from Telstra who also have brilliant international links, ABB can’t be compared with Vocus trash.

  • Would by vodafone nbn modem work with this plan if i sign up?
I don't want to pay $150 for a new modem.

    • Yes it will work with Vodafone modem, because Vodafone NBN use IPOE where AussieBB also use IPOE so no problem for that.

Only thing is that Vodafone 4G backup will be disabled once you leave them so be aware of that!

      • This helps thank you

  • Kind of annoying to start at 100/20 (or whatever the upload is). I guess NBN is giving out these deals to up their average speed numbers?

    • Well why pay 1000s for someone who only plans to stay on a 25 plan?

      Smart.

  • I've been with superloop and called them up to cancel to take advantage of this (very annoying that you can't cancel online…), and they ended up offering me $10 off the 100/40 plan (which worked out to be $88.50) on a 12 month contract, which works for me!

YMMV but seems better than the same price for 6 months to me!

I'm with Origin now, and the code is invalid for me so maybe they have it set up to now allow Origin given its using the Aussie backend stuff.

  • Is it either the promo code or the referral? Anyway to get both?

Currently an origin subscriber, I get the error “Promo/referral code invalid” when I try EOFY22.

Pretty sure its one or the other.

Does anyone know what happens with deals like these, if you change plans during that 6 months? Do you still keep the discounted pricing on the plan you are changing to?

    • if you downgrade to 75/20m you'll lose the discount.

  • Thank you signed up took me 5 mins to get connected.. recently moved opted for telstra move order taken them over a week to get there thumbs out there back side… still nothing these guys less then 5 mins wth?

    • Hah exact thing happened to me for my parents house. I cancelled after the 3rd day of waiting, they connected me on the 6th day after! So maybe some other poor saps order got cancelled instead. And then they message me saying they'll connect my own place 2 days earlier than requested 🙄

  • Is this deal still active? Just tried to add the code and it’s coming up invalid.

Still working for me, did you select a 100mbps + plan?

      • ah right my bad, selected wrong plan. thanks!

  • How does ABB compare to Leaptel?

  • could I have gotten this deal if i am also doing the NBN upgrade from FTTN to FTTP? I wasnt able to apply for that online but rather over the phone is the only method.

    • Yes, I would like to know this too.

  • I am with TPG and want to switch. However, I got this email from TPG- If you are outside contract, a 30 day notice period applies, even if your requested Service Cancellation Date is earlier than 30 days. So I need to wait for 30 days before contacting ABB? I am outside the contract period.

    Thanks

Yes, I just switched my parents from tpg and sent them an email 35 days earlier to cancel one day before next billing date

      • Ok. Thanks.

Theres a form on your dashboard page that you can fill. I filled that in, took a screenshot and attached the screenshot when I emailed [email protected] just in case

    • Ya I didn't do that so had to pay the monthly fee even though I moved from tpg to Superloop

  • I asked AussieBB if they could price match and they gave me the whole sales talk about how they are better blah blah and dont price match at all.

  • Finally made the jump from Optus yesterday - after being with them since I was on their trial for cable internet ie over 20 years. Submitted the request, 5 mins later the nbn service dropped. About 15 mins after that it was back up again. So far, so good.

  • Anyone know if you can use this code as well as a user referral ($50) to apply?

  • damn i missed out!
    anyone have a promo code?
