  • What vesa mounts are people using? I got one already considering getting another for dual moniter set up.

    • Cheap and cheerful: North Bayou F80

If you need to reposition your monitor a lot you might want something more fancy, but I have 3 of these doing their jobs perfectly and holding up monitors.

  • I have an older Samsung U28E590D for my main monitor: https://www.displayspecifications.com/en/comparison/92dd1559…
Would the the Dell be a big downgrade from it? (Nothing graphically intensive in everyday use)

  • Thanks Dealbot, going to grab 3 of these in the morning

    • Seems to be only 1 per account. Fair, but annoying to those wanting a full setup.

  • Still showing $561.25?

    • +1

Code is slightly different, so drops to 409 after code.

  • Thanks DB! Got one

  • Got one thanks, stack with ShopBack https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/701780 and you should get $10 extra and up to 4% cashback also.

    • Does PWEDELL work with the ShopBack promo? Thought it was only the PLSAVE20 one that was commissionable

  • Got one thanks! :D

  • +1

Done. Bit the bullet on a new monitor and placed the order. Thanks Dealbot :)

(edit) Arriving by Thursday 30 Jun 2022

  • Thanks DB. Bought it. Estimated delivery 25-30 June though? Is this going to be brought forward?

    • I didn't even pick up on that when I ordered. Might need to reconsider as that's quite a wait when I need a monitor now.

      • Last time I purchased one through eBay it had a similar wait time, but arrived the following week. YMMV as that happened this time last year.

      • I bought the Xiaomi today instead and dell just issued me a refund. Xiaomi is coming tomorrow.

  • Is there a way around to get this price for non-plus members?

    • Sign up for ebay plus free trial, that's what I did. You can cancel any time.

      • Same… 6am in the morning trying to sign up for Ebay Plus lol

  • Another plus only deal… Seriously sick of ebay plus

    • -1

Sign up for ebay plus free trial, that's what I did. You can cancel any time. I'll cancel today as I've already ordered the screen.

      • I guess you can keep doing that with multiple email addresses

      • I'd keep it for the next month or so unless you keep benefits after cancelling since its EOFY season, so possibly more plus deals only soon.

        • I think you keep benefits until renewal date, which it then cancels instead of renews. I signed up last night, so if i cancel today, i can still get benefits for 30days (though I very rarely buy from ebay, but when i do, it's usually cheap junk),.

  • Damn code is only valid for one monitor per order. Expires after first one.

  • There’s a $40 cashback for a EBAY plus membership from shopback so you end up paying $9 per year. Stack with $10 bonus cashback challenge as well.

    • and $20 eBay sign up voucher

      • damn, didn't know about a $20 voucher :/. Is that for signing up to ebay or ebay plus ?

      • I wasn't able to apply this deal code and the voucher together. It was one or the other.

        • yeah you can only use one code

  • Signed up for 12 months eBay plus by mistake, bough the monitor, asked eBay for a refund as I wanted only 1 month option, they will refund me the entirety.

The rest of my day is going to be good or awful. Lmao

  • Any deals on the S2522HG db? Looking for a 24inch rather than 27+

  • Ordered one on the 1st of March and still has not arrived. Just keep getting the run around.

  • Thanks for the deal, bought shortly after 8am as I thought it wouldn't last long. Rushed to get it and forgot to use $20 ebay voucher. Seems like it's not that popular anymore and heaps of stock left still.

    • how much did u end up paying ?

      • $409 after signing up to eBay plus via shopback, saw it was selling slowly so bought gift cards to pay for most of it.

Should have used that $20 voucher.

        • Don't think we could use the $20 voucher. Says not valid with free trial.

          • @Widget: I got $20 voucher from signing up for ebay plus 1 year? But of course it hasn't tracked from shopback

    • +1

Don't feel bad I signed up and you can only apply this deal OR the $20 voucher.
Needless to say I used this deal. Oh well I'll buy something on eBay for $50 to use my voucher?
      Any ideas?

      • Ah I thought I missed out stacking it! But you're right, tried with something else with a code and it wouldn't let me!

My dad used my voucher and just bought a watch winder if that's your thing. Maybe some windscreen wiper blades from the other deal?

  • I want to buy this, but apparently there are issues with downscaling this to 1440p when connected to PS5.
I understand a 4k monitor would be better, but I wouldve been happy with 1440p support

    • I think I read somewhere the PS5 doesn't do 1440p @ 120hz, only 1440p @ 60hz. Perhaps that's the issue people are having ?

      • that would still be acceptable, but I've read reports that resolution drops to 1080p for ps5, which isnt great.

  • Are these monitors good for video and photo editing too?
I'm so tempted to purchase two of them.

    • +1

Not really, they’re more for gaming. Nothing stopping you from using one of these, but colour accuracy is important for video and photo work (probably more from a professional perspective). If you can get hold of a monitor calibration tool you can make these slightly better than they roll out of the factory.

The Dell Ultrasharp models are better for video and photo work as they come pre-calibrated. They’re never included eBay sales, however you can get them from the Dell Outlet. Sadly they’re all refurbished at the moment, but sometimes they have new ones.

I have both and the DGF has a slight yellow cast even after manual tweaking without a calibration tool.

      • Thank you for your input. That make sense now.

      • +1

You can use this to get discount for ultrasharp, any email and still work https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/662785

        • Thread said it doesn't work anymore?

          • +1

@JL1: Try it yourself, I still received mine 2 days ago.

            • @superforever: Thanks! Try for future use, just bought one of these today!

      • I find my DGF to be more on cold side than yellow cast. The S2721DS I have is too warm looking by far.

Ultrasharps used to be discounted by ebay sales, check ozbargain history! But still expensive

  • Thanks! Got myself one :)

  • whn does this deal end?

  • Sorry not good with computers but this or S2721qc for just some general office work, studying etc and may be some gaming for kids or watching youtube?

    • Anyone share some light plz?

    • I'm not clued up on the S2721qc but all the reviews I've seen both here and on multiple other sites all say this one is a great middle ground for both work/study and also gaming.

I took too long weighing up the last deal on this model so I jumped on it this time around!

  • Purchased Tuesday morning, delivered today. Way, way ahead of their estimated delivery time (23rd - 30th June).

    • Hey mate
I purchased the Dell as well from their eBay store. Was wondering what courier do they use? My tracking says DB Schenker, I’ve never heard of them before

      • Schenker Australia looks to be their global delivery partner and likely hold their stock in a distribution centre.

It appears to have been delivered by StarTrack (AusPost). Both company names are on the delivery label.

        • I guess that means my S2722QC is coming from overseas and not as stated on the eBay listing from Sydney?

  • Nice deal thanks. I bought 3 for a sim racing rig I'm currently building.
This deal would only go for one.
So I bought the first one by itself for $409.
Bought the next two using DSLL20 for $875.
    3 27" Dell's for $1284. RRP on 3 would have been $2396.97.
Not bad I remember forking out more than 1k for a larger CRT in the late 90's.

I was going to go for 3 MSI Optix monitors but like Dells zero bright pixel policy and have been happy with my 24" Ultrasharp all these years.
Was only a bit more expensive to get the Dells with these deals.

Just for anyone else out there building a triple monitor sim rig ;)

    • +1

      3 ebay accounts, ez.

      • Ah that 3d chess move eluded me at the time :(

    • +1

I have my 3 all set up now and it looks schmick. I haven't had a chance to race yet though.

      • I cant wait!
Might need to wait for RTX 4k series before taking advantage of the refresh rate tho.

  • Has anyone ordered a DELL monitor before with a long delivery ETA, but got theirs delivered much quicker than stated ?

  • Just checked eBay and it says it's been posted on the 27th May :). Currently tracking with Star Track (Express), ebay still states Estimated delivery Thu 23 Jun - Thu 30 Jun, Star Track says ETA May 30th from Sydney.

  • I have a G27Q from the last deal, still in the box.
Should i sell the G27Q to buy this or just open the box and use it?
