After seeing this comment, I nagged the rep to bring this monitor over to eBay for a run. Currently selling for $699 on Dell.com.au so this is a sizeable discount.
Pay with discounted eBay gift cards for further savings.
A couple of new laptops -
Mine dispatched on 30/5 and arrived the next morning…from the moment of purchase, it takes around one week to arrive.
Mine arrived today however there is a green 'ghostly vertical spot' on the top of the monitor that seems to be gradually fading since unpacking the monitor this evening. Might need to RMA it if its not gone by tomorrow as it would be visible when watching widescreen movies against the black background.
Otherwise I'm pretty impressed for the price.
How is your monitor so far, did it go away?
Mine seems to have a very small dead pixel at the very top middle near the edge, didn't see it until did a dead pixel online test.
I think I will leave it.
Doesn't look like it, so contacted support and am in process of arranging a replacement..
Delivered today even the site said July.
I'm having trouble with sound- no sound is coming out of the monitor. Any suggestions Help?
I think no speaker on the monitor, even under control panel, it said so from my nvidia card.

You can only plug external speakers in. No speakers in the monitor.
They didn't ship with an invoice, contacted seller and see.
Plugged Google Chromecast TV in, under settings display, it said only SDR, HDR unsupported.
It said HDR600 here but didn't mention HDR on Dell AU site

Any idea? So the info is wrong, the monitor doesn't have HDR?
Actually it said DisplayHDR600, not sure what is the difference.
