  • +2

Got 2 from the previous deal and they have been working really great. 1 at the office and 1 at home.

    • Tks for the support :)

If have any suggestions for the item, pls let me know. We will keep improve the product:)

      • But you are not the original equipment manufacturer, this product is sold under many brands around the world so how can you improve the product?

Not trying to be rude and I don't have a problem with products that come from manufacturers that sell the same item with different branding to many companies for resale. But unless you are the manufacturer it seems rather limited in what you can do, looking around it seems mostly limited to packaging/accessory customisation.

        • +1

I believe this is the manufacturer and at around 55 Australian delivered could be a better deal.
          https://huwder.com/products/100w-multi-usb-device-charger-st…
          I bought direct for mine.

          • @bigspike: Thanks for the link, out of curiosity how did you find them?

I used to try and find Kickstarter/Indiegogo ODMs but never had much luck, but a crapload of those products are just rebadges too, and usually at much higher premiums than what OP is charging (actually OPs markup when on sale seems pretty good, their "RRP" is obviously not real because the devices are always on "special").

    • Agree, this has replaced my trusty 66W GaN charger from a Kickstarter as a travel charger. Looking forward to trying the 100W GaN.

  • I bought one back in July last year and while it was OK for the first month or so, it started to "cycle" on and off when there was more than 2 things plugged in. Eg. if I had my laptop, phone, and battery charger plugged in and then I put my earbuds on a wireless charger, the whole thing would quickly cycle off then on. Sometimes the wireless charger would need to be unplugged and plugged back in again to work, but I then had to unplug the other things as well.

    • Dear ebosh.

That's normal for all multi-function charging dock. Because the dock must recalculate the output of the power rate. :) The more ports the charger has, the calculate more complicated.

  • Doesn't list Samsung S20 Ultra nor the S21 Ultra in the compatibility section on the website.
Does that mean this 5-Port charger isn't compatible, or it simply won't 'super fast charge' these specific devices?

    • +1

It will charge those devices perfectly fine and be fast as well :-)

    • +1

      The charger support PPS/PD/QC Standard
As the Samsung fast charging standard.

      Fast charge with QC3.0=15w
      Super fast charge 1.0 = PPS 25W(S21 20 Series)
      Super fast charge 2.0 = PPS 45W (S22 Series)

  • Have one and travel with it. It's great.

  • Any deal available for the Gan3 120w?
Just waiting to pull the trigger…

    • +3

      Not Yep :) Coming soon

  • FWIW, Just feedback on the 120W one. Have been using for a month or so now to charge M1 MacBook pro and Lenovo X1 carbon simultaneously.

Takes a bit of fiddling (not sure why) but have to plug and unplug to get both charging. MBP plugged into C1 port & X1 plugs into C2. When it works, MBP charges full speed but X1 will hold same % charge (not charge up) if actively using. If X1 is sleep mode whilst dual charging, it’ll slowly charge up.

All in all, I’m okay with that product for the price paid i guess (previous deal) but the most annoying part is definitely the fact that when I unplug the laptops to take to work/off charge and return to plug them back in, I’m not guaranteed it’ll “just work and charge both” …

    Maybe it’s not supposed to?

    • Is that the Gan3 one, or the one normal one listed above?

      • +1

        The normal 5 port one

  • All to ports charging with devices or only C1+C2?

On the other hand, Lenovo is not an original PD charging standard. This brand sometime limited 3rd part charging rates, which could help them sell their official charger.
You could try C1 w Lenovo and C2 with MBP.

    • It’s just C1+C2 in use, nothing else is connected.

I will try that and comment back here later. I kept MBP on C1 because i thought it required the 60W to charge effectively.

      • +1

The Lenovo and Dell earlier devices will limit the rate like 20W or 25W Max. The MBP has a perfect BMS system, And will not always charge at full rate except using a video editor or big programming, even 25W or 30w will work well.

Pls help try C1 to X1 and C2 to MBP. I will also report to the lab :)

        • Just coming back to report on the testing since last comment -

Switched Carbon X1 to use C1 port and M1 MBP to use C2, nothing else is plugged in apart from the 2 laptops and both seem to be quite happy. X1 charges full speed and MBP holds charge, but charges to full well enough if left overnight.

          • @spikiii: Tks for your feedback. I have let the team know about this. Tks mate.

            • @auselect: Hi there - just some feedback, have kept the X1 on C1 port and MBP on C2 port, which i thought was going but it's not really… (still only the 2 laptops plugged in)

The X1 charges great/fine at full speed via C1 port, however, the MBP constantly disconnect and reconnects (even though nothing is being unplugged/re-plugged into the charger). I know because the screen brightness goes dim when the charging stops and it detects 'on battery'.

not sure of the effects of the constant charge, stop charge, charge etc. cycle on the MBP but not comfortable at the moment with it

              • @spikiii: Would you mind charging the MBP to C1 and X1 to C2 have a try? I will report this to the manufacturer. Also pls check the MBP charging state when the screen brightness goes dim. It has 2 possibilities,
                1. the X1 disconnect (but you do not feel that) then the C2 reconnect.
                2. the MBP setting.

I will try with my own MBP next week. I borrow a X1 from my friend:)
