    • This sale is on till the 6th of June

    Need PCR?

    • +8

No, just fill in a health deceleration.

      • +43

My health has certainly been decelerating

        • +1

Always better to slow down when health is going downhill.

  • Oh ok…. Heaps good.

  • -7

    Thats some expensive singapore noodles.

  • +2

OP, any flight deals for October?
Also, is it possible to get flexible tickets? I'm planning to book flight in advance for an event. Need flexible option as I may or may not be able to get the tickets when they are released.

      • Nice avatar

      • Well, Valve officially revealed the dates.
Looking to book for Oct 20-31. Comes out to $315 which is quite good.
Should give me a chance to explore SGP in between the playoffs and the finals.

      Just buy BoT

  • Hi OP what’s the likelihood of a sale for end of Nov

    • There are some good prices for international destinations now for Nov.

      • thinking to go Singapore specifically around end of Nov

  • +2

    Nothing from Adelaide??

    • Scoot doesn't fly out of Adelaide, sorry.

Good news though - Fiji Airways has recently restarted flights from Adelaide, so thats something.

  • +1

Dang, I could fly from the Gold Coast to Perth via Singapore cheaper than direct to Perth… getting some ideas here…

    • You're comparing sale price to full price fares.
Try in regular Jetstar Sale - booked OOL - PER $199ret

  • What is the subject to regulatory approval means? The flight not approved yet?

  • +1

    Damn not during the f1

What's the weather like in August?

    • +10

Hot. Same as every other month in Singapore.

      • +1

        lol and humid

  • any clue what their covid policies are if I catch covid before the flight? tried googling and looking through their help section and messaging on fb (just an automated bot though), but I still can't seem to get a clear bit of info…!

*edit found some info about a one-off date change, but still unsure about refunds or just getting a normal cancellation

    • I think you get one flight change (if thats still included thee days), but beyond that, you have to pay the difference or SOL. Don't bother with FB or calling, absolutely no chance of getting someone. I think I finally got someone by tweeting their twitter publicly (!!) but by then it was so close to the date/flight I just got one on another airline and had to forgo the amount i paid

  • If you purchase ticket from online travel agent . Do you need to purchase baggage allowance from them or can we buy it direct from scoot closer to departure date?

    • I think you can add luggage via Scoot's "Manage my booking" even if you book the flight through an online travel agent as you get a Scoot booking refence.

      Here is some more info:
      https://help.flyscoot.com/s/article/How-do-I-add-extra-bagga…

    • +3

I like saving money, but I'm trying to resist/avoid buying airline tickets from online travel agents, perhaps with the exception of Expedia, while Covid is still lingering around as a risk to travel.

  • After you pay for seat selection and add baggage the price is more like approx $466 return each

    • +4

      Both are optional

    • +3

$466 return for a 7+ hour flight with baggage and seat selection.. and you're complaining about it?

  • +2

Every single one of the websites jacks the price up when you click-through. Clearly an illegal practice.

I'm not talking about adding checked-in luggage or seats; just the base flight is jacked up a significant amount.

Scoot does the same, when you click through.

    • +2

I clicked on the very first PER-SIN flight (listed at 232 by the OP) and was offered flights at 215, saving 17, but when clicking through to myTrip, it went up 40 to 255.

      Still good but annoying.

      • +3

That's a huge % increase… eDreams actually waits until you hit the final purchase button before jacking it up. What a bunch of crooked (profanity)!

        C A R N T S!

  • Hi. I am planning a trip to SG in April 2023. When is a good time to look into it?

    • Before your trip starts!

    • +1

make sure you get your passport renewed too now (if you need it)

      • Someone else reminded me today so I was renewing my kids' passports. Thanks.

  • Are there any cheap flights to other Asian countries?
If I were to purchase a flight from Sydney to Singapore and then add another flight from Singapore to Bali, would that be cheaper than a direct flight from Syd to Bali in August?
At the moment I can't seem to find any sales for other destinations in August/September.

    • You would be adding many hours to your trip. Bali is far closer to AU.
Malaysia or Thailand via SIN would make more sense.
