The problem with existing users is; these discounts are for new users, not renewals. You can't stack them.
It's like a lot of deals, they offer the discounts to get you signed up but then charge you the regular price come renewal time.
I've tried buying these and entering the codes and then lose all the pre-existing validity I had, so be careful.
If you are just about ready to renew then its not so bad.

Thats weird it happen to you, I have been stacking mine for quite a long time now on the family pack. Still got 1091 days left. I always add each year.
I've tried in the past, i add my code and it starts new, replacing the existing account, and continuing with the new time period. I queried it with Bitdefender and they told me it's because I purchased a 'new account' key and not an extension key.
I was pretty pi$$ed off about the situation but it made sense so I vowed to be aware next time.

I just extended my existing licence by 1 year, it stacks for existing users. You just need to use the same email for this purchase as your email you used on your existing Bitdefender Central account. Add licence, and choose to extend current sub. Worked for me.

Purchase product; receive email with license key; log in to BD Central; click on My Subscriptions; +Activate with code; enter code and activate; choose Extend current subscription.Make sure u are purchasing the same product as well.
