    $649, not bad

Pretty decent for a top tier card IMHO

      • +5

Mech is anything but top tier card

      • Top tier? LMFAO. Okay.

      • +3

Mech cards are trash. Usually plastic backplates that trap heat and raise temps

        • I was referring to MSI as a whole

        • Trying explaining basic physics to people on here. To them the lifespan of the card is not affected by poorer cooling and poor dissipation.

It's a magical fairy land where the cards have the same longevity because to quote "their tdp is low so the aib doesnt matter". According to them you can overclock and overvolt everything without affecting the components life.

    $600 and it's a deal

    • +3

Yep needs to be low $500s

      • +1

I think that would be a fair price for this card.

I will not shake the mindset about card performance from the NVIDIA 20 series

In my mind, $600-700 should get you a GPU with performance around XX70-XX70ti-XX70 super. I paid $649 for a decent tier 2070 super in 2019.

      • That would make SKU# AC43112

MSI are dodgy. They are refreshing their usually mid tier MECH with some real budgety coolers. Asrock is no worse than these fake mechs

  • +4

Don't forget the AsRock triple-fan RX 6700 XT is still going for $600.

    • Also this is SKU# AC43112 not SKU# AC43111

      • Why does it matter?

        • +2

Because to put it bluntly one is a Toyota Echo and the other is a Toyota Corolla. If you want Lexus I highly recommend red devil or nitro+

There are other Echo's like the Asrock. Would you buy an Echo for the same price as a Corolla? I mean cmon what a silly question. This Mech is essentially an Echo with a Corolla badge, with the price adjusted somewhere inbetween. It matters because it's not priced like the echo it is. It's budget competitors are sub $600.

    SKU# AC43112 not SKU# AC43111

That's why I didn't post it last night. It appears to be a budget model under the mech name (like the oc1)
