          The same reason every other toy was discounted for their mid year toy sale because it is a SALE.
          They feature many brand new toys for half price, It's even on the front page of their catalogue!
          All you have to do is look at this deal that is now out of stock (#1 best seller in action figures on amazon) and the bigw site that shows a lot of stores are low and out of stock of this to see it must be popular.
