PlayStation Plus Deluxe TL₺460 (~A$40.64) for 12 Months (+ $10 for Wise Physical Card) @ PSN Turkey (No VPN Required)

3090

After spending few hours trying to figure out how to buy the Turkish Ps Plus Deluxe subscription which is about 1/4 of Au pricing, I finally managed to get it.

1) Create a new Psn account (https://www.playstation.com/en-tr/ps-plus/#subscriptions) and select Turkey as the country and use fake address generator to create a Turkish address (https://www.fakeaddresscopy.com/Turkey/). After creating the account go to the (Your information) in setting and edit residential address and add a street address, which is not asked during the account creation.

2) Sign up for a account at (https://wise.com/au/) and add 460 Turkish Lira into the account and you also need to create a Virtual card in the app to pay for the subscription. I tried few different Au bank cards, Revolut and crypto.com virtual card and they all failed for the payment. Edit: $10 fee for physical card, if you don't already have one.

3) To pay for the subscription you actually need to add the card via account management on a ps4 or ps5 console otherwise payment will fail. Also note that when adding the card as a payment method you must use the same Turkish address you used when setting up your PSN account or the process may fail.

4) After adding the card via account management on a console, purchase the ps+ subscription directly from the console for it to work 100%. That's it, enjoy!

And also you can stack the subscription for upto 15 years.

  • can we use our existing accounts for this?

  • Tried this, you don't need to purchase PS+ on your consoles, you can use the PS app and pay for PS+

  • Legend thanks mate!!!

  • if I want to create a new PS+ based on turkey, and my ps+ Australia expires, do I have to have both subscriptions active to play both games? or one subscription (Turkish) will activate all games on both accounts? because I have a year worth of monthly games on Aus account

    • -1

Just need the turkey account activated as main console and use the account to download the games.

    • +2

you wont be able to use your aus account ps plus games unless that account has ps plus. this will not be overcome by setting the turkey account as primary.

  • Great work Op. Kudos.

  • Scenario…..

Sign up to PS Plus Extra using Turkish account on main console
You AU account can access the games catalogue and download without restriction

    -OR-

You need to use the Turkish account to download game
AU account now can now access the downloaded game, but not till downloaded by the Turkish account first?

    ?!??

    • 2nd yep

      • +3

Ok thanks, caveats need to be considered

        • -4

it doesnt work like that with PS plus games its usally account locked..

          • +2

@iDavidn: This is false. You can access all games that are downloaded from the oversea account to use on the AU account.

  • When all the great first party drop on ps plus deluxe I'll use this to play them all.

  • -3

Couldn't care less about Deluxe but interested in PS Plus Extra - how much is the annual price for that in Turkey?

    • +1

400 TL. Its just $5 aud difference which I think is worth it, considering you get access to game trails for newest games.

  • +1

Will this process work on essential subscription as well or only Deluxe?

    • Works on any of the tiers mate.

  • brilliant…worked like a charm! thanks OP!
was looking to buy and play spiderman 2 and ghost of Tsushima but now I can play every other game with this method!

  • Will this method keep on working say a month from now? I took one month of PS+ Deluxe a couple of days ago

  • +1

there is a $10 fee for the card i WISE for anyone wondering.

found a reddit post that some accounts are being banned by Sony (not verified, most likely people creating and selling new accounts)
    https://www.reddit.com/r/PlayStationPlus/comments/vk9q77/how_to_buy_from_turkish_psn_because_so_cheap/

Finally if you are signing up for WISE for the first time you should ask OP for his referral.

otherwise there is a random referral link from ozbargain

  • I tried to use wise on PS US but it won't work. Never tried the turkey one. But I'm glad Wise works on Turkey

  • +1

Does anyone know how to log into the ps5 with a second account? I logged out of mine and tried with the new email address but it’s not letting me.

  • How does the stacking work, I can see only adding subscription, but not sure how to get additional years

  • Can anybody confirm if a westpac debit card works?

  • anyone got some setup instructions for wise…
Supposedly cant convert AUD to TUR atm either
How do I create a virtual card? or do i need a physical one first?
I supposedly have been verified from an email I received after uploading licence yet cant find anywhere in app to confirm everything is ok

    • need a physical one first

    • Pay 10 dollar for the physical card. Then you get instant access to digital ones

  • What happens when you have PS Plus Essential atm in AU from a previous subscription? Is there a way to transfer the turkey ps plus sub into the AU account? Or is the requirement to have a turkey ps account?

    • No way to transfer. Need to make Turkey account and have it as as user on your console and use that account to download the games. Then switch to your AU account to play them.
Free Avatars and save data uploads is the only thing you won't be able to use on your AU account.

  • +1

Its great for sticking long term or unless you don’t care much about monthly games. I have many ps+ games in my account its very rear i played them more then once. Unfortunately i have Extra for 1 1/2 year so gonna skip for now but those who are not subscribed or who's subscription is ending, its great opportunity to grab.

    • I am hoping there will be discounts for PS+ Deluxe AU on Black Friday/Cyber Monday but of course it will never be as cheap as $40.
This is a super great deal nonetheless, $40 is worth the admission alone for the included games.

  • If you do this can you still play the ps plus games you have on your main account??Because If I do this then I will stop ps plus essential on my main account but I still want to be able to play the ps plus games that I have claimed from all the yars

    • +1

You will not be able to. Don’t see people mentioning this. You also won’t be able to access any of the monthly games you claimed if you let the Turkish account ps plus end and decide to revert to your Australian account for ps plus in the future. I don’t think most people jumping on this deal have considered this. Also no opportunity to game share ps plus games with another console. Prepare for huge headaches in the future.

  • is there still a 14 day free trial after the new PSPlus changes?

  • Has anyone tried to pay with a 28 degrees card?

    • +1

Yeah, didn't work. Think the different billing address for the card is the reason.

      • Ah damn. Thanks for checking.

I still have a few months left in my Aussie account. Hopefully by the time I need to get on this deal there's an easier way to pay.

        • No worriies, and yeah I've got 200+ days left on my PS+ essential too, but the upgrade cost for those 200 days is still around $13 more than just paying for 1 year of Turkish PS+ deluxe. I'll see if I can work it out when I get home later today, will jusg stack 5yrs worth if so.

      • Is the same card linked to your Aussie account though?

  • +7

This deal could really do with a detailed, step-by-step idiot proof guide for people like myself.

  • +2

Didn’t work for me. Says the card is expired when I used the Wise card. Sad as I paid the $10 and loaded the card with Turkish Lira too.

Edit: worked now, the $10 had been taken from my Lira which buggered it up!

  • +3

Great deal, but judging by instructions and recent comments - probably too much effort for lazy people like me. I'm def not a true ozbargainer lol.

  • Damn i bought a one year subscription for $80 last month.

    • You can upgrade ;)

    • +1

I bought it 5 days ago and was still in 14 days period so I requested a refund and got it after 2 hours. May be you can try contacting support. Doesn't hurt to check, right.

  • Is anyone having trouble with it accepting the wise card? It’s asking me to check the details of the card.

    • Check ur history in Wise….normally tells u the issue.

      • What address did you use when entering the card on the ps5? The same Turkish one as listed in your ps account?

        • I’m getting the same issue. The address is the same as my psn account.

          • @kazzman: Let me know if you figure it out. I’m stumped!

            • @mitch21: Tried it one last time on the PS App and it worked.
I typed in the address details this time rather than ticking the residential address tickbox.

              • @kazzman: Awesome! Did you use a random address generated by the website at the top of the post? Is your Wise account registered in Australia?

                • @mitch21: I had the same issue. Decided to change the address on Wise. Went through immediately after. No hassle changing the address on Wise at all. Try it.

    • I had the same issue with my 28 degrees card, i assumed it was an issue with the billing address not matching up with address for cc.

  • +1

Just an FYI for people, you can’t play the game trials on your Aus account that come with Deluxe which is a shame. I wanted to try Horizon Forbidden west, but I’m a trophy whore and will only do so on main account.

    • That's a shame. How is the rest of it working out? How much hassle is it to e.g. Play Ghosts Of Tsushima?

      • Absolutely fine, just flick back to your account and you’re all good.

  • +1

    Are games playable on PC?

  • Thanks…got it working for 3 years :)

    • Can you please advise how you stack it?

      • Just add the 12 months to cart again and checkout

  • I wish I used Turkey store from the start for PS+
I have always hopped around and have my PS+ games spread across a US, HK and my main AU account depending on what was cheapest at the time.

  • On PSN its saying please check your credit card and try again. I'm using Wise which I signed up using my Australian address - did I make an irreversable mistake?

Update: tried again and it worked

Anyone know how I can stack another 12 months in advance?

    • I’m having the same problem. What was the trick?

      • Just go back to cart and try it again

    • Go to the PS+ store and checkout another 12 month subscription, it should stack

  • I cant add a digital card on wise.com do I have to spend $10 to get a digital card?

    • +1

      Yes

  • Do you have to change your address in wise?

    • No

    • No. They check your id in Australia for verification. However, make sure your address in Turkey matches with the one that you enter after adding your cc on ps5.

  • So just some points on this deal.

    1. You have to pay $10 for your Wise.com card so cost reflected in deal should be $50.64 but for that you are also getting a shiny new card.

    2. If you already have an AU account on which you run PS+ and you care about your games saves, cloud saves and trophies etc. you should weigh up whether this is truly worthwhile. Because, I would like to continue to play online on my primary account, then I will still have to pay $80 a year for the base level PS+ as well as $40.64 per year for this…. Which is $120, PS Extra (which is kinda the same as deluxe imo) is $130 anyway.

    3. Same issue as above, but you cannot play the game trials on your AU PS+ account. Which sucks if you genuinely wanted to try out a game (like horizon forbidden west) and then continue to play on your primary account.

    4. You can NEVER change the region of a PS+ account, nor can you move save games from one profile to another.

Hope this helps people, yes it’s a deal, but imo I’ve done it for one year only as I already pay for ps+ and I’m kinda locked in because of online play, existing game purchases & trophies etc. so will stupidly likely renew in December on PS+ Extra Aus anyway.

    • +4

You can continue online play on your AU account if the Turkish account is the primary one. You dont need to subscribe PS Plus on the AU account.

Source: im currently doing this. My AU account does not have a subscription.

      • Woah. That’s insane. Definitely even for things beyond the free to play space that are always free (e.g. Fortnite etc?)

        • Yes, everything that is not free to play is online enabled

          • @KaTst3R: Wow. Noice. Point 1, 3 and 4 still stand though

    • +3

What Katst3r said above is correct. You can play online and earn trophies on your original account.

It's ironic because if Sony really wanted to stop people from taking advantage of regional pricings like this deal they could just implement those restrictions like you mentioned.

      • wow that's insane, I think that was the last doubt that I had about it

        • Do note though that you will lose access to all the monthly Plus games you have claimed on your main account (unless they are also part of the Extra/Deluxe catalogue).

          • @xers: Yeah that's fine, happy to leave behind all those monthly AU PS Plus games (most are on deluxe anyhow I can see!)

      • I’d imagine if they ever add restrictions to this, it’d backfire like when Netflix suspended account sharing.

  • Anyone manage to stack 15 years?

    • Would be great if someone who's managed to stack 5+yrs could confirm it works

      • I was able to stack 3 years. So it should work for longer periods too.

        • How do you stack?

          • @cc23: You can add increments of 12 months on web browser.

      • I have stacked 8 years until 2030.

  • +3

Stacked 4 years, I'm good for gamepass and psn for a while now.thanks op

  • I have already account with Wise, signed up on my australian address, i also have the virtual card options. Do i need to sign up another wise account with Fake turkey address? To pay playstation plus subscritpion?

    • No, just make sure your TR PSN profile and your virtual card share the same address and you're good to go. You also need a turkish lira account on wise obv as payments will be deducted from there.

      • I’m having the same question. I too have an Australian address on Wise, this is shared by the virtual card as a billing address.
I don’t think can change the billing address for a single virtual card. Am I missing something? do I have to change the address on Wise?
        Thanks heaps!!

        • +1

So I ended up changing the address on Wise to the same turkish address. No issues whatsoever. PSN accepted the card details immediately after. Subscribed now.

      • Anyways, i just used my australian wise account to buy. Because when i changed my address to fake turkey account, the digital card dissapeared from my wise. Then i changed back to australia, then it appeared again. Then i added lira to turkish acount and used digital card to pay. It went through without turkish address on wise.
