PlayStation Plus Deluxe TL₺460 (~A$40.64) for 12 Months (+ $10 for Wise Physical Card) @ PSN Turkey (No VPN Required)

3090

After spending few hours trying to figure out how to buy the Turkish Ps Plus Deluxe subscription which is about 1/4 of Au pricing, I finally managed to get it.

1) Create a new Psn account (https://www.playstation.com/en-tr/ps-plus/#subscriptions) and select Turkey as the country and use fake address generator to create a Turkish address (https://www.fakeaddresscopy.com/Turkey/). After creating the account go to the (Your information) in setting and edit residential address and add a street address, which is not asked during the account creation.

2) Sign up for a account at (https://wise.com/au/) and add 460 Turkish Lira into the account and you also need to create a Virtual card in the app to pay for the subscription. I tried few different Au bank cards, Revolut and crypto.com virtual card and they all failed for the payment. Edit: $10 fee for physical card, if you don't already have one.

3) To pay for the subscription you actually need to add the card via account management on a ps4 or ps5 console otherwise payment will fail. Also note that when adding the card as a payment method you must use the same Turkish address you used when setting up your PSN account or the process may fail.

4) After adding the card via account management on a console, purchase the ps+ subscription directly from the console for it to work 100%. That's it, enjoy!

And also you can stack the subscription for upto 15 years.

  • Thanks OP, bought 3 years

  • Any reason why a CBA debit card cant be used for the payment?

  • Want to sign up for this but want to clarify if that means all my downloaded games from my current ps subscription will be gone when it expires in roughly 120 days. I don't really do online gaming so not fussed with that but just want to know if I sign up to Turkey can still access my downloaded games when Aus subscription expires? Hopefully someone has experience with it.
    Thanks in advance

    • +1

If you're referring to the monthly free games you claimed on your original account, then yes, you lose access to them once the subscription on the account ends.

But assuming you go through with the turkish one, then you'll have access to not only the massive games catalogue that's part of PS+ Extra, but also be able to claim and access the monthly titles from this month onwards (for the duration of your subscription, of course).

  • Thanks OP, got 3 years subscription

    • +1

couldn't hold back, added another 2 yrs, good till 2027 ;)

      • I wish I could be that confident I'll be playing games 5 years from now haha

  • I can't get this working at all. I already:

Have a Wise account, signed up for the physical card, changed to the Turkish address
Set up a brand new PS account
Tried adding the card on my PS5 - but it fails

Can anyone show me exactly how you formatted the address? My Wise account doesnt have 'state' but the PS account asks for it.

    • Try Bergama as state, Gevrake as street

      and remove the street number.

Oh also make sure the 'card' you're adding to your PS account is a new VIRTUAL CARD (loaded with TL), and not the physical card.

And make sure you add the card via the account management screen on the console itself via the settings, and not through the PS store app on the console.

      • Tried this. Still not accepting my Wise card

  • Can you do this with a VPN and card like Citibank?

Sucks that you need to pay WISE $10 wonder if there's any alternatives.

    • You need a card that pays with Turkish liras. And the cards address must be Turkish. VPN or not - doesn’t matter.

      • For me at least the card address didn't need to be Turkish.

My wise account has my Australian details on it. All I did was create a new virtual card and then loaded Lira onto it.

        • You add Turkish address to your virtual card when you link it to PSN account. That is enough.

This is not working for me. Playstation is rejecting the Wise credit card. Not using street number for turkish address either. However, good to know that Playstation plus games on Turkish store are not really cheaper. It's only the plus subscription where you save.

    • +1

However, good to know that Playstation plus games on Turkish store are not really cheaper.

Incorrect. Turkish store is significantly cheaper than Aus for almost every game I've checked so far.

      eg. Stray $40 AUD vs 259 TL ($20 AUD) - 50% cheaper

      F1 22 $109 AUD vs 800 TL ($63 AUD) - 42% cheaper

      TLOU Pt1 $125 AUD vs 699 TL ($55 AUD) - 56% cheaper

Death Stranding Directors Cut $75 AUD vs 439 TL ($35 AUD) - 53% cheaper

For anyone that either has a digital PS5 or would prefer the convenience of buying digitally over disc, then it's almost a no-brainer to be buying via a Turkey PSN account.

      • Yep. I just loaded up with Saints Row, TLOU pt 1, Two point campus, Destroy all humans 2, Madden 23 Ultimate Edition for about $235 AUD. Essentially the AU store cost of Saints Row & TLOUpt 1.

    • Are you using a newly created virtual card or the one that costs $10?

      • -1

I used both unsuccessfully. In the end, I ended up paying $155 AUD for the 12 month deluxe subscription. For anyone based in Turkey, would be a good business to onsell the various subscriptions, etc. I admit, I did not check the prices for all games in detail, but saw they have games that cost 1,0000 Turkish Lira, which is over $80AUD. This gave me the impression that games are not significantly cheaper than AUD store.

  • Guys is the only downside, for ps plus exlcusive content such as like a fortnite ps plus pack or like rocket league exlcusive content for ps plus mebers, Is it possible to claim these on your main account or not? As in my australian one, or is it only for turkiye?

    • You'd be able to claim it, but it could only be used on the Turkish account, unfortunately.

      • What type of content is this, does it have a name?
        Just "exclusive content"?

Do they release any SINGLE PLAYER stuff like this? I couldn't care less for exclusive content for Fortnite or Rocket League, but if I got a copy of some random good single player game (Control? Shrug) - could they release single player exclusive content which I can't play?

I do all my gaming on my Aus account or my wifes US account (over here tho) but I wouldn't want to be forced to use a Turkey account.

  • I was a bit hesitant considering the card charge and adding funds that might not be accepted but can confirm it all went through without an issue.

Added a couple of years and bought a couple of games at less than 50% of the AU store price.

  • Yep just did it myself, added 3yrs, but tempted to go to 5yrs lol
Also the instant game library is decent too.

  • Anyone experiencing issues with their Turkey account getting logged out when switching user? Whenever I switch my main account, it logs me out from my Turkey account, it basically wouldn’t save the Turkey account in my PS5 which locks the games I downloaded.

    • +1

From what you're describing, you haven't set your console as the primary device for the Turkish account. You need to set your PS5 as the primary PS5 from within the Turkish account. After that, you basically never need to log into it again except for when wanting to download a new game.

  • Got this working!
2 years of PS Plus Deluxe for ~AUD$90
Tried adding a 3rd yearly subscription but Wise says a problem with my card when trying to add funds.

  • All good here too. Little mucking around with the address format matching/street number but successfully have 3 years of Deluxe. Thanks!

    • I couldn't get it to accept the address, so ended up using a hotels address in Istanbul and it worked.

    • Someone said today is locked to 3 years max now, is that true or is it 15?

  • +2

It worked perfect for me! I set up my wise card using au address and verified., added a digital. Loaded it with turkey currency. Set up new Turkey PlayStation account with dodgy addy. Paid with digital card, put in dodgy addy! Repeat x 3! Expires this time 2025! Thanks 😊

  • Cause I’m buying it for my 11yo… who knows what he will be into in three yrs!

  • Is this not working anymore? Marked expired ?

    • +2

Just did it then and no issues for me

      • thanks!

      • What is max duration you can do?

        • +1

I think it can stack up to 15 years, I just bought 2 years

  • Is this still working?

  • Deal still working on 22 August. Bought a year, but thinking I might stack a few.

  • Anyone know why this was marked expired?? I hope I didn't miss the boat.. was waiting for my current Aus sub to expire first…

  • Can someone that successfully done this give us the psn address for the card and wise address card because whatever i did is not working . I have wise card loaded with TL but always relies check your card details

  • Thanks, bought just now. Matching city in psn profile and billing address seems to be the key

  • This post is already Expired, did anyone recently used this method to get PS pro deluxe service?

  • +1

Just used the method and it worked perfectly!

  • +3

Tried adding an additional year today after doing this succesfully a few days ago and i'm getting an "An unidentified error occurred. Try again in a few moments" at the Playstation side.

Accepted the card details fine (and it worked earlier this week). Odd. I'll have to do a bit more digging.
    Anyone else seen that error?

  • -1

It's not working actually. Any solution?

  • Anyone know if this still works?

    • some says keep changing your turkey address in the psn until it work…i tried never worked to me. maybe missing something

    • Do you know if it still works

  • Weird, I cannot purchase additional psn plus years with the card - same error as the rest but I can purchase PSN plus games in TUR Lira?

Feels like PSN might just getting changes/upgrdes, could be similar to this https://www.eurogamer.net/sony-confirms-it-has-blocked-abili…

As I can purchase games still so just feels like that extending ability has been blocked.

    • I hope it's just that, I'm still deciding if I should go crazy and make a 15 year account overseas.

What were the drawbacks? There was a couple of small DLC issues right?
(I already have Japan and USA accounts) but to my knowledge, everything can be played on my local Aussie account with paying for PSN+ on that one.

  • +1

Hey has anyone done this recently keep getting the unidentified error occurred. Try again in a few moments" when trying on console.

    • Try access from a PC.

  • +1

Tried to get monthly free games, got a message "You last logged in from another device (I didn't), confirm your card details". After that says my card details are invalid. Can't use store at all.

    • Managed to get games through my PC.

      • Was this after you followed all the steps for adding the card on your console first? Or are you saying it worked all on PC natively?

        • I tired all the steps multiply times no success

        • +1

The card was there already, they asked to re-enter expiry date and CVV and it failed. After that I tried on PC and didnt have any problems. I still cant access the store on my console.

          • @Azro: I see, ok thank you that was insightful. Seems like I may have missed the window for this then

  • +2

So have they now also blocked Wise cards? Just tried buying a game on Turkish PSN and my Wise card wasn't accepted. It worked fine 2 weeks ago.

    • +1

Yeah I’m having trouble also. Saying my card has expired despite not expiring til 27.

      • That's a shame. Missed out because my Aussie PS Plus sub doesn't expire until next year. Managed to buy a couple of cheap games though.

Hope someone figures out a new payment method.

        • Yeah I’m surprised they patched it so quickly. I’m not sure of any other methods. Hopefully we can find something. I loaded up a heap of TL onto my wise card.

    • is there a way to buy turkey PSN subscription from other turkish online stores? like how we used to buy US PSN credits from amazon?

      • +1

Nope, multiple other forums have said there's no way to buy PSN cards for the Turkish PS store

    • +1

Ah so its not just me. Good I came here to check. :\

  • Anyone know of any other virtual credit cards that work? I've been told CryptoPay but have seen other forum posts stating that it no longer works.

    • +1

I've downloaded cryptopay and it says virtual cards are not offered in Aus yet :(

  • Maybe its from wise itself because on twitter they said they have problem in thair visa.

Also i cant replace the visa too in wise app.
Maybe someone can contact them and see whats the issue with them

Apparently that issue has been fixed

      • Can you replace your visa or get new one?

      • Nope still not working:

Please check your credit/debit card information and try again.

… but yes this does seem like a WISE issue because previously even on payment declines I used to receive a notification

        • @3zzy can you get a new visa or replace it on the wise app ?! ….because it wont let me replace it or get a new one…is it just me or everyone if everyone then must be wise app thing

          • @TESTERpsn: Nope, can’t do that either.
            Definitely Wise issue.

            • @expatOz: @3zzy: good to know…maybe some1 can contact them and they answer with a solution.

          • @TESTERpsn: To get a new card you need to switch your account address back to Australia.

            • @xers: @xers: i know i did change it to australia and still wont let me replace or get a new card

              • @TESTERpsn: Hmm that is strange then. Are you talking about the physical card or virtual card? I have replaced the virtual card 3 times now (although none of them worked with the PS store).

        • Getting the same thing here. Hope this isn't the end of using the wise card and it's only temporary…….

  • I think it’s the end of the road. It’s hard to find much info on it, seems like a little known loop hole.

The crypto Card and wise both seem to be reporting errors currently so I would assume both have been patched. Hopefully another loop hole surfaces.

  • +1

Tired this again today with successs, seems was a issue on there end just subbed for 2 years.

    • Still didn't work for me. Did you create a new card?

      • I already had a card saved on the qccount feom.the other day

        • Interesting. How did you check out? Via desktop browser, console etc. had you previously got the error message?

          • @Asapbrocky: Steezus on 13/09/2022 - 14:22

Hey has anyone done this recently keep getting the unidentified error occurred. Try again in a few moments" when trying on console.

            Attempt purchases on console

          • @Asapbrocky: I followed everything from.the guide, and tired all alternative methods adding funds, through desktop nothing worked it still dont work now as ive tried it, but doing it through the the console now seems to work,

As i just purchased the sub and then purchased a game 5 mins ago both worked.

    • Do you mind sharing your tur address?

      • I used the address of a store in kadikoy added that to address in ps. but on the billling address i added the street name eg. Tepe Cd, 30A. Postcode
In this format then created a new digital card in wise just incase.

Never needed to change anything esle. Converted nzd to lira in wise app dont know if that made a dif as it didnt work in the past with lira. But did today.

  • Juat wondering has anyone attempted all this via tur vpn. Could be a new sec check

    • Tried to do this just now via ExpressVPN and didn’t make a difference.

      • Well you can always convert back to aud. Alterntively create a new psn tur if u dont hv an active sub with different state. I read a useful psn debug error check that did a turkey state check from another forum. I think there is an api that checks for correct turkey state n legit address. These are all assumptions bassed on that error one user got

        • Oh thanks for the heads up.

          What forum was that on?

  • It was uk Ozbargain.com.au equivalent the one which mentioned cryptopay m crypto

  • For some reason I can no longer pay with my midnight blue card? Any suggestions? following error occurs;

    {"error" "code":1167403,"codeStr":"INVALID_STATE","message":"Transaction is on a non-valid state for this API call."}}

Can't top up my wallet on the PS5 console, got excess money on the virtual card to cover the purchase, any help would be greast (edited)
