PlayStation Plus Deluxe TL₺460 (~A$40.64) for 12 Months (+ $10 for Wise Physical Card) @ PSN Turkey (No VPN Required)

3090

After spending few hours trying to figure out how to buy the Turkish Ps Plus Deluxe subscription which is about 1/4 of Au pricing, I finally managed to get it.

1) Create a new Psn account (https://www.playstation.com/en-tr/ps-plus/#subscriptions) and select Turkey as the country and use fake address generator to create a Turkish address (https://www.fakeaddresscopy.com/Turkey/). After creating the account go to the (Your information) in setting and edit residential address and add a street address, which is not asked during the account creation.

2) Sign up for a account at (https://wise.com/au/) and add 460 Turkish Lira into the account and you also need to create a Virtual card in the app to pay for the subscription. I tried few different Au bank cards, Revolut and crypto.com virtual card and they all failed for the payment. Edit: $10 fee for physical card, if you don't already have one.

3) To pay for the subscription you actually need to add the card via account management on a ps4 or ps5 console otherwise payment will fail. Also note that when adding the card as a payment method you must use the same Turkish address you used when setting up your PSN account or the process may fail.

4) After adding the card via account management on a console, purchase the ps+ subscription directly from the console for it to work 100%. That's it, enjoy!

And also you can stack the subscription for upto 15 years.

      • I used it earlier to buy Vbucks on Fortnite

        • Ok sweet, still works. Thanks for letting me know.

  • +1

I can't seem to stack up PSPLUS subscriptions using NZ card, I made a mistake and only bought 1 year psplus subscription when i made my acc which was about 2 ,3 months ago using AUS wise card and now i can buy games with new NZ card but i cannot stack up Psplus anymore. I get an error saying "an unidentified error occurred try again in a few moments"

    • +1

@Daa Kay maybe they stoped psplus stacking for the turkish region…unless some1 has a real turkish visa and try stacking if he can then its wise card thing if not then playstation stopped the turkish stack

  • +2

So, I successfully verified wise and bought my subscription and a couple of games on the turkey account.

But now the same cards not working and i cant add a different card from the same wise account either (digital or the physical one).

Anyone have any ideas why this would be?

  • Getting the "An unidentified error occurred" issue that some others are having right now :") Anyone have a solution? Tried bruteforcing through it with no luck, and I'm doubly sure that my Wise Account has enough funds. Strangely enough I have no issues buying games, just the PSN Subscription that's having issues…

    • That's weird cause I can't do neither. Tried brute forcing but I eventually get timed out via console. Definitely have enough funds in my Wise wallet.

When I created the wise account I used a residential address based in Turkey which is the same one used when I created my PS account.

Tried buying Uno which was like 44 lira (have 500+ lira), billing address matches the residential address on Wise and PS but still doesn't seem to work.

      • My Wise account uses a NZ residential address, not Turkey, so that might be why? Not sure if it'll help, but doesn't hurt to try making a virtual card using a NZ residential address, it should have "xxxx 9400 xxxx xxxx" as it's card number if it went through correctly. For address verification, sejda.com worked wonders for editing bank statements to reflect the NZ address (for legal purposes: I didn't do this and I don't condone this).

My Turkey address was only used for PSN, as Step 1. and Step 3., nothing else used it; these Turkey addresses were typed out exactly the same way in both Step 1 and Step 2 and I made sure to get the spacing and special characters correct.

Let me know if that works for you.

P.S. if someone can help with my error I still am in desperate need of help, thanks :")

  • been getting "Something Went Wrong" when trying to pay for subscription after
    1. Creating a transferwise with NZ address
    2. Getting physical and virtual cards
    3. Adding payment method to PSP

the issue I feel is not being able to change the NZ address to Turkey address in wise.. anyone overcome that.. been trying to someone get over it and just use the TLs on wise.

Any idea when I can change back from NZ to Turkey address on wise.. might solve all our problems

  • Hi all, was gonna purchase the digital version given how cheap the subscription is in Turkey but seeing the trick no longer works made me wonder if I should go for the disc version instead.

Does anyone know if buying games from the Turkey store still work? or Sony also banned it? If it is still working, can I use any card or only Wise NZ card?

    Thanks!!

    • I think it still works for NZ wise card but I don't think it was last for long. The Disk version is still good bcuz u can buy second-hand CDs for a really cheap price and sell them when u are done.

      • Thanks. I have already picked up a digital version and signed up for a month on psn plus hoping there will be a promotion for black friday.
Otherwise I will sign up with a Taiwanese psn plus account which is around $90

  • So is this gone now? I see the above discussions re nz card etc but the deal is expired? Or is there a consistently working way still even through convoluted route?

    • As far as it seems, all available options are dead unless someone has found a payment method that works. You can still buy games with the Turkish Lira from a Wise card, but it will always throw and error if you try to buy Plus or add funds to the account wallet.

      • I can't seem to buy games with the Turkish Lira from my Wise card. First it said the card has expired. So I removed and re-added it after changing to a newer match address.

        • Is your wise account set to New Zealand? I know that I changed mine to that when people here were reporting that the Aus cards weren't working. I just bought a couple games on there with my Wise card last Wednesday and it worked fine.

          • @XVX: But the PS account is set to Turkey, can’t seem to change it. I just updated the Wise address to NZ.

            • +1

@EuphratesFate: Yeah you use a Turkish PSN account still, but you change your address on Wise to a NZ one and edit an existing bill or bank statement pdf to have a fake NZ address for verification on Wise and then the Turkish Lira on wise should be able to be spent on your Turkish PSN account for games.

              • @XVX: Cheers mate! Will give that a try :)

              • @XVX: Hi again! I changed the the address in Wise for a NZ one without much hassle(didn’t ask for any bills, just changed the address on account). Now it complains asking me to check my card details and try again.

                • @EuphratesFate: You might also have to generate a new card on your Wise app and use that new one. For reference, I also still have a fake Turkish account assigned to my PSN account and I used that for a billing address for my Wise card.

                  • @XVX: Tried this. PSN on Turkey address, Wise on NZ address(new card created). Still says check the card details and try again(on PSN). Also, I just ran out of attempts. PS is asking me to try again later. Any more advise please?

                    • @EuphratesFate: Just double checking, does your wise card number start with 4596 94? If not then it's not a NZ card.

                      • @xers: It’s 4596 93. Should I remove it, change the address on Wise to a NZ one, then create a card?

                        • @EuphratesFate: 4596 93 is Australian. Yes you should create a new card AFTER changing your address to NZ. If done correctly, you will be prompted to verify your address at the card creation stage.

                          • @xers: Cheers mate! Will give that a go.

                            • @EuphratesFate: Finally got it working and bought GoW Ragnorak. Thanks heaps all!
One small detail to add, when you’re adding the card on PSN, you must be on VPN connected to Turkey. After that if ya wanna make a purchase, you don’t need VPN, I think that’s what causes the famous “Something went wrong” error.

  • +1

for anyone still following this it still works with the extra step of adding a nz wize card. i was able to obtain a New Zealand wise card with a recent power bill thanks to mspaint and it let me add the card and purchase some games.
stacking psn is available also and as the exchange rate has changed it is now $39 per year for ultimate

    • That's great to hear, when did you stack your psn if you don't mind me asking? Coz all recent comments were suggesting Wise doesn't work with psn anymore. Thanks!

      • yes stacking is back on

    • Do you mean that you were successful in paying for PS+ using this method recently? Or just for purchasing games?

      • both, i previously had it till 2026 then the card stopped. was able to add more

  • +3

Just stacked another 2 years after reading above comment from @Cambam. All set until 07/2026. It doesn’t work from app and you’ll need VPN and NZ wise card.
    1. Connect to turkish VPN on Windscribe vpn(i tried nord and surfshark it doesn’t work. Easiest way to identify after you connect to VPN go to browser in private mode and open google homepage. At the bottom it should say turkey. Both nord and SF say UK)
    2. Open your PS account in a private tab(I used private mode in Safari on iphone)
    3. Go to account and hit manage subscription and click buy again
    4. Make sure correct NZ wise card is selected and you have 460 TL fund in the wise account.
    5.should show you purchase successful.
I believe this should work for new people signing up as well.

    • Thanks!!! It worked!!!!!

    • +1

Just tried this for a new subscription and was hit with 'Something went wrong'. I used Private Internet Access VPN but Google homepage definitely said 'Turkey' so who knows.

      • +1

Maybe try with windscribe(Isntanbul Ataturk server) as well. I think they offer a free trial. Sometimes issue could be the back end proyocol and stuff these vpns use. Windscribe always worked for me whenever I purchase something from Turkey stores like Netflix, PS, YouTube etc

        • +1

That worked! Thanks for the Intel on that one! Might have to throw a couple years on the Plus sub now that I know it is working.

    • When you create your NZ Wise card, does it mean it’ll be delivered to the fake address you provided?

      • +2

its a digital card. if you are creating a wise acc for the first time then do it to your correct address then change to nz after

    • +3

Thanks Bro. I have tried the same steps you mentioned above (including using Windscribe VPN) and I can confirm that it is completely worked for both buying PS Plus or Games from Turkey store. I have stacked PS plus deluxe for 3 years now.
      I appreciate your help.

      • The hardest step was to confirm NZ address on wise. I edited an original bank statement from my local bank to make it includes my fake address on NZ, the same address I wrote on wise and they accepted it and let me create the digital card successfully.
I have also tried another Turkey VPN while purchasing the PS Plus using this card but it didn't work, it only worked with buying games. But when tried with free Windscribe VPN it was accepted and I managed to buy the Plus subscription successfully.

        • Would an edited statement from an Australian provider work or does it need to be from a organisation that operates also in NZ?

          • +1

@funky: Anz statement will work. Just put a gas station or supermarket address. You don’t even need to change your wise address to Turkey later on as well. Ive seen some comments from people above changing theirs but not really required. PSN address should be turkey though and match with the address you enter while providing card info to sony website

            • @mkbsd: Thanks - all good here again.
Only issue was needing to create a second NZ digital as the first one following verification failed to add to PSN payment method.

              • +2

@funky: You may need to repeat adding the digital card to PlayStation account more than once of it was rejected first time. It shows me an error first time although wise app sent me a notification that PlayStation checked the Card with 0 transaction. But I tried again with exact same info for card and address and it got accepted second time.

  • Has anybody changed their address back to AU after receiving the NZ digital card? Wondering if doing so would cause any problems.

    • +2

I can't even do that anymore, says once you are verified you can't change it

  • i keep getting hit with the something went wrong error successfully added 2 cards to the account through VPN tried buying games or ps plus but something went wrong error keeps showing up even tried buying on the playstation there i get the unexpected error. if anyone got around it somehow please let me know

    • Which cards did you add if you don't mind asking?

    • Use Windscribe VPN and connect to Turkey VPN on your mobile. And try buy through incognito tab.

  • +1

i have nz wise visa cards
did all that windscribe vpn stuff still hits me with the something went wrong error. :(

    • So close - I have the same situation. NZ wise cards added successfully but still get error "something went wrong" multiple times, even though I added two digital wise NZ visa cards.

I tried disconnecting windscribe before payment, connecting PIA VPN Turkey, incognito and all failed :(

      Would really appreciate more guidance!

      • Try using seed4.me VPN, create 7 day trial account. It worked with me for buying games, not for PS Plus.
The next step is to suspect the address you used on PS account.

        • Thanks I tried to buy a cheap game and it worked! Tried GOW didn't and of course the sub is still not working.

      • Do you still have your Fake Turkish address as the billing address for your NZ Wise Card on your PSN account? Hope that makes sense, seems a bit convoluted when I read it back.

Also are you using your phone and a private tab/incognito tab to carry out the checkout process?

  • yeah i have tried alternatives but nothing is working so for will update if i find a way through i have another turkish account that might work but lets see

    • @SamAli17, I have been trying all day to get this working as well, my main issue at the start was adding the NZ Wise card to the PSN which I worked out after trying a few times that I shouldn't be ticking "Use this Card as default".

After the Card was added, I have tried all kinds of VPN with a combination of PC/Mobile browser to make a purchase(Just wanted to get GOW as I'm already subs until 2026) but always getting "Something Went wrong".

Last thing I wanted to try before giving up, was to make the purchase directly from my PS5 and it WORKED. And of course no VPN was required

Not sure if you tried that already but worth a shot.

  • i can buy the games just fine from the browser and store but i can’t buy ps plus i can buy other subscriptions like ea play but only for ps plus its not working.

    • ah fair enough.

Have you tried purchasing through your console?

  • yea i have tried on console and i get hit with the “an unexpected error occurred please try again few moments later”
i searched the error up and it has todo with the payment method being from the same region as ur psn account

  • +1

I have managed to get a year of PSN Turkey via WISE before they closed the AU cards.

Then, I’ve used the NZ method and managed to use my Wise account to buy games without issues. At this stage, I still can’t stack more PSN subs.

After reading all the comments, I’ve tried again and re-add my NZ Wise cards via Windscribe VPN then try to sub another year of PSN. I get the error “Something went wrong”.

Is this loop closed up by Sony?

    • +1

From what I can tell with the recent fix. You can't sub with a NZ Wise card but you can buy games still.

    • +1

I'm in the same boat. NZ Wise card (9400 number) and I can purchase games but just can't add PS+ subscriptions. I get "Something went wrong."

I have tried creating and adding new Wise NZ cards, Wise account address in NZ, Wise account address in Turkey, PS app, PS Store website, Windscribe VPN on and off.. every possible combination mentioned in these comments and no joy.

      • I wonder if it's worth reaching out the the PS Turkey support team to see if they could process it.

  • +1

For anyone already verified with the NZ wise and still struggling to add the sub, you will have to add a cheap game or a game that's already included with Deluxe to your cart, and simply spam the buy button from with the app. There are multiple games could work - I added Arc twilight of the spirit together with the sub in cart and it checked out - no VPN or incognito.

Once you sub unfortunately you can't stack yet AFIAK (or I haven't figured out a way yet - even resellers are doing first time subs only)

Worked only the app by the way, try it and see how you go.

    • I can confirm that this method is working. You need to add any PS Plus game along side with the PS plus subscription in cart on PS mobile App then use the NZ card to pay. But it will not work from first try to buy, keep repeating click on buy option until it works (on my case it worked after 10-15 times).

      • Is that the first time adding the Subscription or stacking on an existing Turkey PS plus?

        • First time on new account for friend, Older methods is not working now.

    • Sony has stopped people from stacking subs there’s a link next the the button when you’re trying to buy more.

Here’s a snippet of that content

“You can purchase a new membership that will start when your existing plan ends – so if you’re eligible for an unmissable deal on a PlayStation Plus membership, you can take advantage of the special price and keep your membership active for longer. The new membership period will begin as soon as your current plan ends.”

      • So you can't stack at all? Even on Aussie ones?

  • Hmm I stacked to 2029 but wish I’d done more now reading all this.

    • Yeah I did a5 year stack years and years ago (25 dollars us a year!)

Wish I stacked like twenty years

  • But I’m kinda worried this is gonna turn out to be a poor decision long term as if I get locked out and can’t buy a Turkish sub in like 6 years, I’m concerned I may get locked out of my Game catalogue or saves etc… hmmm

    • +1

You'll be alright, If you're swapping regions you just need to learn to not care about the PS+ games long term, you don't own them anyway.
You are essentially getting cheap multiplayer access and have the bonus of renting games (for as long as you're a paying).

If you want any games "long term" just buy them when on sale, as given how dodgy the payment situation is there is definitely a chance you won't be able to re-sub in 6 years.
The price may even rise (like the Asian regions subs did a couple years ago).

Regarding saves, I wouldn't use the Turkey account as your primary one. Play the games on your main Aussie account, and back them up to a portable hard drive if you need to. That way your saves won't be locked to your Turkish account.

      • Thank you for this, it's calmed me down a bit, I wouldn't usually go so hard on a sub like this, but I'm a Sony Pony.

So my game saves if I continue to use my Aussie one back up to the cloud still? Or are they local once my aussie sub lapses?

        • Cloud save backup is only available for the account with the active sub unfortunately. So once your Aussie sub lapses the feature to download or upload will stop (until you ever renew the Aussie sub.) and saves will be stored locally only.

You can still backup save data via USB, or even do a full system backup via USB (which you should do occasionally if you're worried of losing anything).

Unless you have multiple consoles that you want the saves to sync between I don't think it's a big deal.

    • You should not worry bro as you will not know how would the world be at 2029 :D
It is a very long time to worry about. So enjoy your 7 years subscription :)

So does psn stacking work anymore or not? Mixed messaging here.

    • +1

Nope. Doesn’t work. The stack hasn’t worked ever since Oct

      • Does the stack not work, but if I was to purchase a year after my subscription expired work?

        • I’ll answer that when mine expires lol

          • @xenoic: I'm assuming it would since it's like any other purchase. I might try it later.

            • @Rated3: I really hope so it’ll work.

              • @xenoic: It doesn't work at all rip.

                • @Rated3: Were you renewing after your sub got expired?

                  • @xenoic: Yeah after my sub expired, it doesn't process with the wise card at all

    Hi friends,

I made an account just to comment this:

Tried it all, not working for me. Spent literally hours.

    • NZ wise digital card (recently added)
    • Turkish psn account, successfully added digital wise card through vpn
    • tried buying on incognito mode (using the game + ps plus extra trick) using windscape vpn, also tried on app (with vpn), and on console (no vpn)
    • nothing worked, including spamming the 'I accept' and 'make payment' option.

I was hoping that finally living in NZ would come with a real life bonus, but alas, this has not worked for me and I am giving up.

  • Thanks for your help. Setup again using NZ wise

  • Are there any other countries this trick could work for?

  • +5

    hey everyone,

After some back and forth, this is how I managed to succeed:

    • NZ wise digital card (recently added) -> had to go through the manual verification process. even though I put in a random NZ address, they used my aussie license to verify and it was all good
    • Turkish psn account, successfully added digital wise card via desktop + VPN combo (through Nord VPN, of all things)
    • In incognito mode, tried with Nord VPN to purchase PS Plus Deluxe, but failed with "Something went wrong" error
    • Tried again in incognito mode, this time with free Windscribe VPN, and that worked for the first year of PS Plus Deluxe
    • stacked it again by purchasing for another year and it worked!

tl;dr - got 2 years worth of PS Plus using Windscribe and Wise

    • Hi, I successfully followed all the steps above up until step 4. Even with incognito mode and Windscribe VPN connected to Turkey, I am still getting the "Something went wrong" error when purchasing PS Plus Deluxe Subscription. The Wise payment method worked for buying a game from the Turkey PS store, tried and tested (game downloading now).

      Any other workaround ?

      • like @xenoic mentioned below, spamming through the pay button may work. or getting windscribe to connect to another turkish server may help too

        • Finally got it to work using edge and windscribe windows app as described below by Arch Angel. Thanks !

    • This works 100% for me.

It only worked for me if using Windscribe on the Chrome Browser. It may show 'Something went wrong' but try jamming the button a few times it'll go through eventually.

      I'm now subscribed till 2027 :D

    • +2

Can confirm this worked for me on a Windows laptop also. What I did was:

      • Go to windscribe.com/download and download the Windows app. Install it.
      • Create a free account (I did not include an email address. Just entered a random username and password).
      • Leave everything in the Windscribe app as default, just connect to Turkey/Istanbul Ataturk server.
      • Open Microsoft Edge (I didn't use incognito/private browsing) and search for "Playstation Store Turkey". Click the first result that goes to https://store.playstation.com/en-tr
      • Sign into my PSN account. Click on my display picture then go to Subscription Management.
      • Use the "buy again" button on my already existing PS+ Deluxe subscription, confirm I want to remain on PS+ Deluxe 12 months and pay with the card that was already saved on my account (NZ Wise card with a 9400 number).

This worked without a hitch for me and I was able to repeat it without issue 15 times to stack my subscription to 2040.

Some key notes that I can think of:
      - I already had a PS+ Deluxe 12-month subscription active, up to 2025.
      - My payment card is an NZ Wise card (with the 9400 number). This was ALREADY on my account from previously (I didn't add it just now or have to create a new card).
      - The address on my Wise account is in NZ, not Turkey. The PS account address is in Turkey.
      - This method DID NOT work on an Android phone (Windscribe app connected to the same Turkey/Istanbul Ataturk server and using Chrome in both normal and incognito browsing modes) that I tried before changing to the laptop. This always resulted in "Something went wrong" no matter how often I tried to spam it.

      • That's epic. How much did it cost all up to get it to 2040?

        • It costs less than $40AUD per year for the Deluxe plan

          • @xenoic: Yeah true, I could do some quick maths and work it out.

        • +1

According to Wise it was $697.86 total including their conversion fees and across different exchange rates.

About ~$25 of that was for buying a game also so about $672 or so :)
