PlayStation Plus Deluxe TL₺460 (~A$40.64) for 12 Months (+ $10 for Wise Physical Card) @ PSN Turkey (No VPN Required)

3090

After spending few hours trying to figure out how to buy the Turkish Ps Plus Deluxe subscription which is about 1/4 of Au pricing, I finally managed to get it.

1) Create a new Psn account (https://www.playstation.com/en-tr/ps-plus/#subscriptions) and select Turkey as the country and use fake address generator to create a Turkish address (https://www.fakeaddresscopy.com/Turkey/). After creating the account go to the (Your information) in setting and edit residential address and add a street address, which is not asked during the account creation.

2) Sign up for a account at (https://wise.com/au/) and add 460 Turkish Lira into the account and you also need to create a Virtual card in the app to pay for the subscription. I tried few different Au bank cards, Revolut and crypto.com virtual card and they all failed for the payment. Edit: $10 fee for physical card, if you don't already have one.

3) To pay for the subscription you actually need to add the card via account management on a ps4 or ps5 console otherwise payment will fail. Also note that when adding the card as a payment method you must use the same Turkish address you used when setting up your PSN account or the process may fail.

4) After adding the card via account management on a console, purchase the ps+ subscription directly from the console for it to work 100%. That's it, enjoy!

And also you can stack the subscription for upto 15 years.

  • Anyway let us know how u go

  • I bought stuff last night and today with no issues. I'm in NZ though, unsure if that makes a difference.

  • Hello, I can not link my wise card to the psn account, I have generated new cards but still does not let me, any solution?

  • Not working

  • Hope they don't ban the poor people who put through $600

    • +1

You can always convert to aud lose bit on conversion, no such thing as poor people on ozbargain.
Anyways cant even buy a game anymore just getting invalid credit card.

      • No, I mean the ones who managed to buy 15 years worth of PSN+ Deluxe. It's already been spent with Sony.

  • When i use the same Wise card details on my Au account it works fine but it doesn't seem to work on my Turkish account.

    • Same here the card must be geo locked to its origin country now?? As I had no problem adding to my Aussie acc.

  • same issue here, spoke to a mate that has tried:

changing his wise card address to match his turkish PSN address :(
creating a new wise card and adding to turk psn :(
Adding old and new wise cards directly on PS5 :(
VPN into Turkish & NZ servers on pc and try adding old and new wise cards :(

all out of ideas for now…

  • Has anyone tried the wise card with any other regions? Argentina etc?

    • PS Plus Argentina is charged in USD and is only slightly cheaper than buying directly here in Australia so it's not worth it even if it worked.

      • Agree, just wondering if the hole is closed in all regions

Hi, i have an IMPOTANT info for those who dont know.

IN WISE ACCOUNT THE VISA IS LINKED TO THE COUNTRY YOU ASSIGNED BEFORE CREATING OR REPLACIN THE VISA CARD.

…meaning if you put your address Australia and then order a visa you will get an Australian visa then change it back to turky which was working for turky psn.

As when it was working i tried some country none worked and when i put it australia it worked.

and it seems that New Zealand is also working now as some1 Commented but unfortintaly i cant order a virtual visa  when i put my address NZ , WISE ask for proof you live there…

so if some of us keep trying different country, there is a chance we find one that work and dosent need a proof of residency.

I TRIED ( France, zech republic, belgium, indonesia, i think i tried japan and india too) none of them worked.

IMPORTANT: IF YOU FIND OR FOUND ANY THING IMPORTANT PLEASE SHARE IT HERE AS WE ALL TRYING TO HELP EACH OTHER.

Note: i can't reply to you guys that many times, the website gave me limted  number of replys every day

    • Did you have any success?

      • No, plus i'm not gonna try every country just myself. Some1 else needs to try and post which country he used that did'nt work for turky psn

    • +1

My verified WISE card stopped working when trying to make payments on my Turkish PSN account. I tried changing my wise details to a NZ address, then clicked on "create a new digital card" and entered the new card into my Turkish psn account and it worked. So at the moment, NZ does work.

  • +2

My card suddenly not working in the Turkish account.. does anyone still have any idea?

  • +1

It looks like people need to find an alternative source of a credit card for Turkey.

  • +1

Obviously the wise virtual visa is now blocked. Tried to signup to cryptome, verified but unfortunately virtual card is not supported in Australia.

    What else can we try?

  • Yeah dissapointed it's not working anymore

  • +1

No good for me either, sadly.
Was such a nice method for getting Fortnite Vbucks haha

  • Bugger! No more cheap games.

  • Still works for me, just bought Turok 2

    • What country are you from and using wise?

      • I'm in NZ and yes, using Wise

        • +6

This confirms a comment above that NZ Wise cards are not yet blocked by Sony. Too bad there's no easy way to get a NZ card without actual proof of residence there.

    • Please let us know how you managed that

  • I'm trying hard to get this to work, really wish I had subbed more than 1 year!

  • Previously linked card but can confirm also no longer working.

Tried App, web & console. Bugger.

  • Yeah, unfortunately it looks like this loophole has been closed.

Was fun while it lasted, I got a couple of games for dirt cheap.

Hopefully a new one opens up by the time my subscription lapses in two years…

  • +1

Balls, can confirm card that previously worked when I signed up for five years no longer works, says card has expired even though it's valid until 2027. Should have just bought GoW Ragnarok last month instead of waiting.

    • Yeah that's my biggest regret now. Shame theres no way to get Turkey PSN credit gift cards

      • So is there another country here, where people can sign up and pay significantly less?

The PSN Deluxe was the interesting thing IMO.

  • I am planning to buy the new COD. Any news folks?

  • Just tried to buy a game and it's saying that my card has expired. No luck, unfortunately. What happens to my pre-orders? I've ordered/paid for GOW Ragnarok and The Callisto Protocol. Hope I still get to download them…

    • If you've already paid why would you face any issues?Only issue appears to be making payment now.

      • +1

I'm not sure, just wondering because there's not many definite answers. I'm happy if they honour it.

        • +1

Doubt you'll face any issues, they've just blocked the payment method. If you've already paid they're not going to break into your place and force the money back into your hands. I hope.

There is a way you can get PS Deluxe Subscription from PSN Turkey but it's less than ideal and is slightly more expensive than what PSN Turkey charges. I found this website https://www.oyunone.com/ where you basically pay them for the subscription period, provide them your login credentials (hence not ideal for many people) and they sign in to your account subscribe. For 1 year PS Deluxe, they charge TL 525 (AUD 43.67 as per current fx rates) which is higher than what PSN Turkey charges (TL 460) but this is still way cheaper than a PS AU Deluxe subscription.

To see if they're a legit and not a scam, I took the risk and purchased a 1 month PS Deluxe subscription. I can confirm that it works. Here is what I did:
    1. I created a new PSN Turkey account and enabled 2FA.
    2. I then created an account at https://www.oyunone.com/ It would not let me make a purchase until I created an account. I created an account using a temp email address: https://temp-mail.org/en/
    3. I then navigated to the Playstation Plus (TR) product page: https://www.oyunone.com/playstation-plus-2
    4. I purchased a 1 month PS Deluxe (TL 79.90). While adding to cart, it asks for your PSN User ID, password and 2FA backup code (each backup code is single use only). I provided these details.
    5. I added the required TL to my Wise account and made the payment using my physical Wise card details (I tried paying through my digital Wise card but it did not work sadly). Pretty sure you can use any debit/credit card and it will work, but I used my Wise card cause I didn't have any money loaded on to it and did not want to risk giving away my bank debit card details.
    6. Once payment is successful, they create an order and put you in a queue (Go into My Account > My Orders). I had to wait for about 20 mins till my turn arrived and they signed into my account and subscribed, and then updated my order status to 'Delivered'.
    7. After that I immediately signed into my PSN Turkey account, verified my subscription status, signed out off all devices and then changed my password.

    • This is pretty interesting, weird method and risky but interesting.

Could you string multiple years with this method?

      • I tried getting the annual subscription on top of my monthly subscription but the website declined my order saying I had to wait till my monthly subscription expired. So I'd say you can't stack.
However, they have a live chat service so I'm going o try and haggle with them about this.

        • If you can't stack - I don't see much value.

If you know you want PS Deluxe and you're on OzB, be smart to just get it one and done and get a heap of it.
I had 5 years PSN once (before deluxe) and I wish I'd gotten more.

It's only $650 for PSN Deluxe Turkey for 15 years.

So I managed to get a copy of a PDF energy bill from a friend who lives in NZ and made some minor edits with my name and a random address in NZ and have successfully passed the Wise verification check. Was able to use my newly created virtual card to buy a couple of games with no issues.

Just a couple of things I noticed:

    1. The billing address does not matter at all (not sure why it did before). In fact, after verifying my NZ address, my billing address was locked and I could not change to a Turkish address but my card still worked.

    2. What is probably checked by Sony is the BIN number, or the first 6 digits of the card. For NZ cards, they're 4596 94 whilst Aus cards will start with 4596 93.

    • +1

This is good to know and useful. Will there be any tax implications of having a NZ address with Wise?

Also did you create a new Wise account with the NZ address or just edited the address in your existing Au account?

      • No tax implications as far as I can tell.

I just used the same Wise account and changed the address to a random NZ address, then modified the energy bill with the same address.

    • Can you buy multiple years? How much does 1 year work out to?

      • I still have many months of PS Plus Extra left on my main Aussie account so I have not started with the Turkish subscription yet. However I have purchased 3 games already without any issues so I don't see why I can't subscribe to multiple years of PS Plus as long as the card continues to work.

        • I couldn't add more PSN deluxe subs on top of my current Turkish plans. However, game purchases are working from your method.

          Thanks!!

          • @xenoic: No worries.

It's interesting though that you couldn't stack. Out of curiosity how many years do you still have on your current sub?

            • +1

@xers: I should have about 8-9 months left on my Turkey PSN Deluxe.

    • Is the nz address check an automated or manual person asking for a bill?

      • I'm guessing automated. Took less that a minute after uploading to get verified.

    • Hey there, don't seem to have the option for verification via residential address, only Drivers License or Passport?

      • Yeah same here, I think we need actual documentation from NZ

      • ID check (Licence/Passport) is different from address verification (utilities bill/bank statement).

I can't recall exactly but I might have done the ID check already before changing the address to NZ so I wasn't asked again.

In any case you can just use your normal Australian ID documents or documents from any other countries for ID check. There are nationals other than New Zealanders living in NZ.

        • Ah I see, that worked however I'm up to the part where it asks for a bank statement or utility bill. I'd need an actual NZ document for that or can I edit one of my own? (Not from NZ though).

          • @Rated3: Not sure how the address verification process is carried out but as I explained in my original comment, I used an actual utility bill from my friend (who lives in NZ) and edited with my name and a random NZ address so that it would look genuine. Not sure if it would work if you used an Australian utility bill with a NZ address edited in. Perhaps you could give it a try and report back?

            • @xers: Nah no luck trying that from me

    • What happens if you need a new Wise card, would it get sent to the random NZ addy?

      • Probably yeah. You only need the virtual card to use on PSN though.

        • @xers: Hi, can i get a copy of the pdf for NZ or any one from the internet that looks like the one you used . i dont want to use something from the internet and (profanity) things up…as i cant use one from my country because the writing in arabic, thanks in advance.

          • @TESTERpsn: Sorry I can't give the one I used since it contains my friend's personal info. If you have an Australian bank account maybe try using a statement from it since mkbsd reported success with an ANZ statement.

Alternatively something from here will probably work too but you have to pay:

            https://mytempl.com/category/utility-bill/

            • @xers: Will try find something and if it works i will post it here to help everyone.

    • Hey mate what pdf edit tool did you use? I have tried a few but haven't had any luck as I can't seem to figure out how to remove original text on the pdf 🤔

      • +1

        I used this online editor:

        https://www.sejda.com/pdf-editor

        • +3

I just used my aussie ANZ bank statement and only updated the address to a NZ address(BP gas station) with above pdf editor. Worked like a charm. Purchased a game as well. Won’t try PS plus because I already got couple of years. Thanks mate!!

          • @mkbsd: Managed to get it working, however when I added more TRY funds on Wise it still hasn't come through (An hour now). When I check the status it says "Your money's taking longer to pay out". I think they're on top of this as well. I payed through pay ID, prior to changing to a NZ account the transfer was pretty quick. I used my ANZ bank statement and changed the address to match my NZ account.

            • @Rated3: So I just tried adding couple of 60 turkish lira. One source currency in Wise I selected was aussie dollar which came down to $5.11 and still pending. Another transaction I made in NZ dollar using my UP bank card(use any international transaction cards) which after wise fees and conversion was $5.32AUD. So 20 cents extra but was instantaneous. Will be using this method to add funds going forward.

              • @mkbsd: @Rated3 just an update my AUD transaction also completed successfully in 10 minutes. Cheers

                • @mkbsd: Mine came through a few minutes ago as well. Thought my documents didn't work or something, all good though!

Okay, so like everyone else my Australian Wise account stopped working when making payments on my Turkish PSN account. I tried many different things like using VPN on webiste, tried changing details on PS5 in account section, but nothing worked. I was about to transfer the turkish money I had sitting on that card into my Australian bank account but thought I would try the "NZ thing" to see if it would work. And it did. So at first I changed my address to a NZ address (since I already have a verified Australian Wise account) it didnt ask me to verify anything. I was able to change my country from Australia to NZ. I tried buying a game on turkish PSN and it failed. So, I clicked on "create new digital card". Entered that new card details into my Turkish PSN account and presto it worked. I was able to buy the games I had in my cart from the sale going on at present no problems. I then tried to buy another year of Deluxe Playstation Plus, but it failed at check out. It says my current subscription will automatically renew when it ends. So you cannot stack ps plus subscriptions, but so far… it is now working again. (until they block NZ wise cards as well)

    • I keep getting 'An unidentified error occurred' while trying to buy a year of Deluxe PS+ on my Turkish PSN account which currently has no subscription. My Wise is set to NZ and I created a new digital card and all. Might be stuck with just discounted games for now?

    • No luck for me. Initially still required additional verification.

Consequently now after changing country locations a few times it has cancelled my new digital card I tried to open, and now unable to add any new cards or replace any cards…

      • +1

There's a limit of 3 virtual cards every 24 hrs with wise. You must have reached the limit.

    • Hmms, i was able to change my address on Wise to an NZ address (my NZ work office)
And was able to verify it using a utility bill that was adressed to that NZ office address.

Managed to create a new digital card under NZ (using that NZ office address for billing)

Went to the playstation store and was able to add the card to the account.

But always failing on check out with 'something went wrong' error

      Any ideas/tips?

(should add that i try checkout via playstation site and not console)
(billing address on PSN is still under the Turkish fake address, does the billing address on Wise need to match?)

      • +3
        • Yeew, all working now.
Made a purchase of some Fortnite Vbucks on the console and it went through
        • +2

@Gianl3 hi mate, what did you change? I've been trying to buy the ps plus subscription since the two hours getting the same error as you. Have tried NZ wise digital card on the console, website and the ps app, would be eternally grateful if you can help me out

          • @omaticat34: Are you trying to stack an existing sub or getting new?

Have you changed your Wise account to an NZ address, verified, and then afterwards created a new virtual card?

I left the billing address as is on the Wise account (NZ address)

Turkish PSN is still Turkey fake address.

To be honest, there was some add occurences.
I created 3 virtual cards (all from NZ) two cards were rejected and would not save as payment method at all, but the 3rd one got accepted.
So…dunno why/how that came to be

            • +1

@Gianl3: @Gianl3 Thanks bud. Trying to get the first year, not stacking.

Yes changed it to New Zealand and then created a virtual card which got accepted in one go. Kept the Wise address in NZ and the PSN address in Turkey.

When trying to buy the subscription or adding funds, I get "something went wrong". Deleted the card and added another one, but same result so thought I'd ask what you might be doing differently.

              • @omaticat34: You ever have any success with this? Also trying to get the first year but it keeps giving me the same "something went wrong" error. I am yet to try purchasing any games with the NZ method as I only have exactly 460 Lira on Wise to buy the year of Premium with.

                • @XVX: @MHXVX not yet, really hoping it works somehow. Will update here if it does, please let us know here if you find out how to get rid of the error

                  • @omaticat34: I read somewhere that the final 4 numbers of the virtual card need to be in a specific range for it to work and go through, as some number ranges are blocked. groan So you might need to keep trying to make new virtual cards, until one doesn't getting flagged. I'm not 100% sure tho, its just what someone was saying in one of the forums?? Did you get it to work in the end?

                    • @liquidsnakegti: I read somewhere that it has something to do with the second set of numbers where '9300' means the card is Australian, which they have blocked, and '9400' being NZ cards which are supposed to work, but from our testing here doesn't seem to be the case.

                      • @XVX: Any luck getting the sub? I could use the NZ visa to buy games (still errors at times) but not the sub, trying to figure out how to work it

  • +1

Ok let’s delete this now so sony doesn’t catch on 😂

    • That's what I'm thinking lol

      • Hahaha yea I'm pretty sure the original deal post was the reason why Australian Wise cards got blocked.

    • +1

Completely agree this post needs to be closed down lol

  • Late to the party, does anyone know if purchasing a physical copy of a PS5 game will work on Aus account with no PS Plus but having the turkish account set to main?

Wanting to play GTA 5 on my Aus account but don’t want to pay the AUD price. Having trouble wrapping my head around physical games as can’t see any mention of it. Thanks!

    • I'm assuming that you meant digital rather than physical? If so, you will have no problems playing GTA 5 if you buy it through your Turkish account but play it through your Aus account. The online aspect will matchmake you based on network region rather than game region so that is not a problem either.

      • Thanks for replying! No I did mean with a physical disk as I prefer to purchase console games that way. Like if I went to JB's and got the game it shouldn't have any issue playing it with my Aus account but using the Turkish account for the online services?

        • +1

If i understand correctly; you wish to buy a local Aus disc, play on your console which is logged into your Turkish PSN account with PS+ activated, for online play? If so, then yes. Essentially you're doing what I am in reverse. I bought Hot Wheels via Turkish psn, and played it online with my Aus account (which has PSN+).

  • Does the NZ Wise still work for buying games?

    • Did you find out if this still works?
