GPU grunt was sacrificed to make it extra portable. 2.05 kg is fairly light for a 16" with discrete graphics

I'm think of of the Asus ROG flow X13,for around $1900 with, ryzen 6800u…with Rdna2 GPU and it's lighter and 360 fold which can attach an external GPU..

for ex: with 3 years premium support/warranty: price is $1989.7

Worked for me BUT only after getting the discount codes sent to me 3 times. First 2 times didn't work.

    Thanks OP.

  • anyone else get an eta date of August? i coulkd've sworn when i ordered it said instock..?

  • For those who got the laptop, what are your thoughts on it? Any trackpad issues like last year's model? (Been seeing on reddit and dell forums about connectivity issues etc)

  • Got it for $1560. 3k screen, nvidia dgpu, gen 12 cpu,. If U look at Alienware, thou it's a full blown gaming laptop, but for a qhd screen with similar spec, U are looking at north of $3000 after discount, and for most people they buy laptop for work and some graphic/video editing, don't need a laptop for gaming all the time.(rather get an dedicated Xbox for that), so it's a Great deal!

    • How did you get it for 1560?

  • VIVID5+ staff discount code if U work for some big corporate.

  • Just wanted to say thanks, this just worked for me. I just ordered the New Inspiron 16 Plus for the wife. (not the old one linked in OP)

    3K screen, nvidia 3050 gpu, 512Gb, 16GB, with 3 years Pro Support, for 1,461.36.

  • anyone has recommendation on Type-C power charging on this laptop?

side note….have you guys crack it up & check what size SSD is in there?
(mine said RAID mode in BIOS? is it running 2 x SSD?)

    • when I said size, I meant physically, as in 2230, 2280 etc…

      • +1

only one 2280 M.2 socket for RTX3060 variant

        • can't believe they only have 1 slot/socket… :(

  • Any one could tell me the running life of the battery ?
I would like to buy it my wife. She needs a laptop that can run all day (6-7hours) without being plugged.

  • +1

Mine got damaged in transit so I elected to return
Didn't really need a laptop and the single thunderbolt port limited what I could do with it for connectivity

Expect will be a great laptop for those that purchased

    • one of the key on keyboard was a little off, so they've organise a new replacement unit for me

I just didn't get enough time to test it out yet…

  • Any review from ozbargain members ?

  • Not sure what I'm doing wrong, but it starts at $3,399 before I start the code stacking which brings the price down to ~$2,500.
    Anyone else get that too?

    • +1

In the original post, the RRP was $2,399. I think Dell has updated the pricing error now. 😢😭😭

      • Damn this would have been perfect. Looking to replace an old XPS15

        • +1

I'm getting a new replacement unit, if you're in Melbourne you could come pickup from me! :-P
