🎶🎶Hodl Hodl, to the very next day baba ba ba badadum.🎶🎶

Really don't know where is the bottom.

      • Just place your hand on your buttock, that's there the bottom is. LOL
Seriously buy it if you need it now, otherwise wait but of course you may have to pay higher price later on again.

HODL for powercolour or sapphire at this price i say

      Hodor

  • Never heard of skycomp, anyone got experience with them?

    • +2

Yes, bought from them multiple times although in store only. No issues.

      • where about it ?

        • I don't think they offer pickup anymore. At least not according to their website.

    • +2

purchased from them online, didnt have any problems, similar to umart, pcbyte etc.

  • can't wait till the new graphics cards come out this year. I have this card but I have had it since launch does the job but after a year or more looking for an upgrade lol.

    • Shoot, you’re in Brisbane. Let me know when you are looking to offload it. I might be interested.

      • I am waiting for the new cards to come out this year.

    • +1

This is what I'm hoping to achieve with a 6600XT right now, or wait a bit and for a 6700XT to drop to about $550 which should last me a bit longer.

  • +4

If you've waited this long, and don't NEED anything right now, you may as well at least wait until prices are "normal" again (i.e.: a reasonable estimate of where they would be now if there'd been no GPU shortage).

I reckon that'd be closer to 300 for this card.

    • +1

@$300 that would be a dream come true.

lol what's the thing with miner comment u guys… every1 need to make a living man.

      • +2

Err can't you find a job like everyone else?

        • as far as i know mining industry is billion $$ business.. from my knowledge only handful of company in AU with that valuation…. so… i am sure asx combine together market cap still smaller than mining companies market cap.. and to answer your question.. i can… but i prefer job as miner honestly compare to other

    • +3

do you go out of your way to make this exact same type of comment on every gpu deal to get as many neg votes as possible or something?

  • +3

New gpu releasing soon, i believe we should hodl still like steel.

    • +1

Depends what you are in the market for. Both Nvida and AMD release their super high end cards first, and then 6 to 12 months later release their mid-low tier of that generation. So we will be looking at at least a 8 to 16 month wait until the 4060s and tier equivalent from AMD come out.

      • +1

But do we have any super exciting game titles worth spending top dollar for high end cards of 4000 series in a near future?

    • -1

well if you want to hodl… hodl couple more months… wait until eth merge.. then tsunami of gpus will come.. except some pros want to sell 1660ti for $500 because it is top of the range in the brand…

      • +3

The eth merge has been "just around the corner" since 2017

        • -4

dude give some hope for gamers please… they hate miner so much… so i try to give them some hope

  • +2

the cost of living is skyrocketing and the price of cryptocurrency is crashing, less people purchase new gpu for mining and gaming, so that's a hold for me.

    • +4

Yep I think I'll wait till december as the 2nd semester at Uni is starting in 3 weeks and I won't have time for video games anyway.

      • +1

        Very sensible.

  • +1

prices haven't moved for a while. just an observation

  • +1

$79 express delivery to Perth for this . A full tower cheaper . NA - has to be postage profit . Keep it !

  • Worst time to buy a GPU, especially one from AMD. RDNA3 is around the corner and may offer a tensor core equivalent for its own flavour of DLSS. Not to mention better raytracing support, something where Radeon cards fall woefully short.
