  • Hi OP, how do these compare to the Philips Hue version. Does it have the same colour performance etc?

These guys charge $80 for a Hue downlight globe that retails for $54 and you can find elsewhere for $33

so take their 'price reductions' with a grain of salt…

    • The RGBW diodes this Nue downlight use is different from the diodes that Philips hue uses.

Yes, you will tell the difference only if you compare 2 lights side by side.

Nue downlight is a cheaper alternative option with the same features except it is not compatible with Apple Homekit

They don't compare. They're a great model but I ended up replacing with hue garnea downlights. Sure I lost the colour but the performance, lack of flickering, lack of disconnections and general ease of use were far worth it In the long run.
