Yeah, the high sugar content with no fibre

      • +6

Stop buying the pulp free version.

        • Hard to get apple juice with pulp

        • How much fibre are in the pulp versions?

        • Any reason to avoid the pulp free?

          • +4

@Apue: Yeah, the high sugar content with no fibre

          • @Apue: Exactly the same sugar and fibre content.

    • +1

      16.2 g of sugar per 200ml serving.

  • +3

How many standard drinks in a bottle?

    • Depends on your definition of standard…

      • +2

        700ml of full strength spirit

  • Fark! How many juice brands are there?

    • +3

      7

How do these compare to Nudie juices, heard they were the best

    • +8

Nudie was my go-to until I tried the juice brothers

      • Yep, it's top notch.

      • -7

Thats what she said ……… until she tried my juice and now its her go-to

        • +5

Pretty watered down if you have to explain it that much

        • -1

          high 5

    • +5

I think it may be very subjective.
Unlike people who already respond, I used to buy nudies almost exclusively, tried the Juice Brothers on the last deal and to be honest, I was not as much impressed. I will definitely stay with the Nude (double pulp).

      • I think Nudie at its best is better. But Nudie is a lot less consistent than Juice brothers, which may actually mean it is fresher, but I find often Nudie is just too bitter depending on the season. So due to that, I only by Juice Brothers now.

Maybe you should concentrate on the label

      • +1

Cool reply, this made me check the photo on the deal, zoom in, said specifically no concentrate. Before I am convinced to buy, is this the only brand don't use concentrate or are there others?

      • +5

You are too gullible.. Just because it says not from "concentrate" doesn't mean anything..

Here is a quote from Wikipedia,

The largest producers of "not from concentrate" use a production process where the juice is placed in aseptic storage, with the oxygen stripped from it, for up to a year. Removing the oxygen also strips out flavor-providing compounds, and so manufacturers add a flavor pack in the final step. According to the citrus industry, the Food and Drug Administration does not require the contents of flavor packs to be detailed on a product's packaging.

        • +1

          Exactly.

I'd hope "flavour packs" aren't allowed to be secret here in Australia, but I wouldn't bet on it.

As far as I know, the only way to be sure is if the label says "freshly squeezed".

Last time this deal was posted, someone said this brand is not, but you should check when buying.

          • @GandalfTheCheap: I posted this in the last deal
The process they use to store OJ destroys the flavour, so it appears these packs are necessary (and why different brands of OJ have their own unique flavour).
Since the flavour packs are derived from orange byproducts, it doesn't appear to need mentioning.

    • Sorry maybe they’ve changed it but I’m pretty sure when it was launched it was from concentrate

  • Comfortably my favourite OJ brand.

    • +1

Try the nudie double pulp freshly squeezed

      • +1

Love the double pulp. presume it is the leftovers from the Pulp free

  • Juice is delicious.

  • +2

I like the Coles brand pure orange juice

    • Second you. $5-$6/2L depending on store.

    • +2

Still better for than full price for those who were going to buy them anyways!

    • +3

This is about the equivalent of half price.. goes this price like once every three months.

    • +3

Lol a lot of deals on here are "not even 1/2 price!", I guess I missed where that was a requirement? Do you post this on all of them?

    • +1

  • +4

I just had the morning start one. Pear, orange, apple, pineapple, passionfruit and mango. Good stuff. Comprable to nudie although I think nudie is better.

  • +1

    Bring back Berri juice

  • Nudie is better but also $8 for 2 litres…

    • Absolutely not.
      (IMO)

  • -2

water cheaper 100% free of sugar

    • Water also has a lot less nutritional value than OJ so it makes this a better deal

  • Awesome juice. Even at $6.

  • If you're lucky enough for your Coles to stock Mumblepeg orange juice, try it.

  • Juice Brothers is great, and Aussie Owned and grown. Ditto for East Coast Juices (for OJ, they do import some other flavours of juice, so check your labels).
