I daily a flip 3 and have never had it die on me, I'm not a power user and generally get around 4-5h SOT, not alot but I've never killed it so… (I also love the phone btw great phone)

The screen on these has a very noticeable crease which I've been told gets worse over time

Never noticed the crease too except in reflective situations. However my factory screen protector is peeling off at the crease.
Of course, if you want to see it then it's visible, but it doesn't affect my use or cross my mind when using the flip3

yeah but the new model pre-orders are generally discounted and promoted well.
I would prefer a better quality phone with larger battery life.
Even if you want a discounted price, you're better off waiting for the new one to come out since that should drop the price for the previous version even further.
My flip3 died after 6 months so yeah wouldn't pay any more than this price for it!
