  • So strange, I ended up with the following prices appearing in Checkout for each colour:

    Pink: $76.89
    Blue: $52.94
    Black: $47.17

That's despite each of them showing up on the Amazon page as $59?!

    • Oh I see, it's due to ordering multiple items, but you can only order one of each colour.

      • great prices if you can get them for that!

    • Showing up as $59 for me even in checkout :(

      • +1

Ahhhh … whilst the individual prices vary, the total still adds up to 3 x $59!

    • Yep, re-created the same prices as you and defaulted to $59/pc at point of pay! :(

    • +2

Jumping on the top comment to point out that the blue one is $38 if you select the regular price. Pointed out below by nmcc08

      😂😂😂

  • +2

Wait for 4pm for enhanced cashback and risk sold out or buy now…hmmm

    • Dont wanna risk it for my teeth. Buying now

      • +3

Yeh I did too, my Amazon purchases hardly ever track anyway

        • +1

Same here. If its still available at 4pm, we could cancel the previous order and re-order with cashback.

  • +2

Bought one during the Black Friday sale for $49. Nothing to write home about in terms of performance. Good battery life, lasts 2 weeks as stated.

  • Bought one, thanks!

  • Does it comes with 110/220v power supply?

    • +1

      It AU Stock.

      Mine came with a 220-240V.

Basically if you have an old Oral-B Electric Toothbrush (those sub $20 from supermarket), they use the same charger.

  • The pink one seems to be a different model. It's a Pro 2 2000 rather than the pro 2000 like the black and blue ones.

    • +1

They should all be the Pro 2 2000

      • +1

I think you're correct. The black one shows the name Pro 2000 but the actual box pictured is Pro 2 2000. And the price is correct. I've screenshoted the item so we see what turns up.

      • Can confirm the blue one I just ordered is Pro 2 2000

    • +1

The naming of these is so god damn stupid. What's the difference between the Pro 2 2000 and Pro 2000? The thing is on the black and blue ones the title says Pro 2000, but the box in the image says Pro 2 2000.

      • Pro 2 has an improved battery over the original. Nothing stupid about it.

  • what's the difference between this and the Oral-B Pro 100?

    • +1

Pro 100 uses Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) battery, whereas the Pro 2 2000 uses a Lithium Ion battery.

      • +1

        To add to this..

NiMH has voltage of 1.2V (1.40-1.45V when charged fully)
Li-Ion battery will have voltage of 3.7V (4.0-4.1V when charged fully)

While voltage isn't the only spec we should judge a battery by, Lithium batteries are lighter and more energy dense than NiMH.
        More powerful motor!

      • Thankyou :)

    • +5

what's the difference between this and the Oral-B Pro 100?

      about 1900 j/k

      Oral-B Pro 2 2000

Black Electric Toothbrush Powered by Braun is a rechargeable toothbrush.

      • Download the Oral-B App for a connected brushing experience - Removes up to 100 percentage more plaque (vs. a regular manual toothbrush) and protects gums - * Brush like dental professionals recommend -
      • 2-Modes: Daily Clean, Sensitive -
      • Round head: Surrounds each tooth for superior cleaning (vs. a regular manual toothbrush) -
      • Timer: Helps you brush the dentist recommended 2 minutes -
      • Li-Ion battery: More than 2 weeks of brushing with 1 full charge. Faster charging time (vs. Oral-B basic charger) -
      • Pressure control: Alerts you and reduces speed to ensure that you don't press too hard on gums -
      • Oral-B Power Testodrive - 2-year limited warranty against defects (full details inside pack)

      Oral-B Pro 100

      • 2 Minute Timer: Helps you brush the dentist recommended 2 minutes

      • Comes with a CrossAction brush head with perfectly angled bristles to get deep in between teeth and remove plaque

      • 2D Action: Oscillates & Rotates
      • Also compatible with other Oral-B Brush Heads for every oral care need
      • +5

I like how the app removes twice the plaque of the brush alone.

    • I have the same question (I think I have the Pro 100).

  • +1

Not being facetious but what's the major differences with the $20 buck one please besides battery life, cheers

    • +3

The Pro 2 has a Lithium Ion (compared to the NiMH in the supermarket ones), so battery requires less frequent charges and last longer.

The Pro 2 also has a pressure sensor and low battery indicator too.

      • +1

Ok noted so as I've already picked up, I guess better for when travelling due to battery life but for at home it sits on the dock anyway (for me atleast), cheers for confirming

    • +2

it also noticeably more powerful than my gf's pro 100

    • +1

The battery life is pretty important. The Lithium ion ones charge much much faster. It has nicer handle. That's about all. Also 3D vs 2D action, don't really know if that actually is relevant in making a difference.

  • +3

Just wondering. What’s the difference between this one and the generic Oral-B Vitality Precision Clean Electric Toothbrush for $20. Can’t really see a major difference between the two.

    • The $20 ones don't last as long

      • Been using my Oral-B Vitality for 3 years and it's still going. $20 for 3+ years ain't too shabby.

  • +1

We have those. Bought with black friday last year for 49 at shaver shop.

  • +10

The blue one is $38 if you click regular price or more sellers.

    • +2

Omg, thank you for pointing that out. Just cancelled and re-ordered.

      • no travel case that's why it's cheaper

      • +1

me too - travel case is not worth the extra $$$

      • I just did the same, thanks so much for pointing that out!

        • Not showing.looks like sold out

      • Is this still available? I can’t find it. Ps. I’m using the Amazon app

    • Ah turns out the blue one doesnt include travel case if it matters to anyone.

    • +1

Cheers! Got this one also :)

  • +1

    Any recommendation for replacement heads?

    • Idk why its being marked as spam- so I just wont link.

But double headed ones are good.

    • the normal recommendation is oral b cross action heads, can get them everywhere and they usually go on sale as well

  • +2

I won't buy an Oral B again. I bought this 2000 model and after a month of use the rubber handle no longer has a tight fit - it seems like the glue holding it on has partially lost its hold.

I heard Phillips Sonic tooth brushes are much better.

    • +2

      send in a warranty claim

    • They may be better but for that price, it's fairly cheap.

    • Sonic is like a wild polishing effect whereas oral b is scrub action. I’m thinking about using both.

  • +4

got the blue one for $38, the regular price is cheaper than the prime deal lol

    • no travel case

    • Sold by Shaving co. Will it even arrive haha or not be cancelled?

      • it is shipped by amazon so it should be fine?

        • yup, mine is due to arrive tomorrow

        • Yeah should be fine, but it may have been a price issue?
Hopefully its honoured for you guys

      • Mine just got delivered in NZ.

    • +3

      now its $99.85

  • +1

Blue one sold via Amazon AU is $59 via prime deal. If you click 'regular price' it comes up as $38.

Seems to only apply to the blue colour

    • +1

Shame, they seem to have "run out"

We're sorry. This item is no longer available from the seller you selected. We'll move it to the Saved Items section of your Shopping Cart. From there, you can click the item to return to its product information page and try another seller

    • +2

Update: I was going to buy a second one, but seems it's sold out or the price issue has been identified.

  • +1

Can add the $38 one to cart, but then at checkout it says "This item is no longer available from the seller you selected."

  • Anyone have first hand experience with this model and Oclean?

  • +3

These 2000 series models are not deigned for a 'forever lifetime' use. My Oral B which I paid $150 for in 2009 from Amazon still works. (Need to change battery around the 5 year mark). Family and friends have the 2000 series model like this deal and water tightness is bad, if you drop it, seals can break and water get's in. They are not built like they used to be. My one I use in the shower, dropped it countess times on hard tiles, still works. Yes it was $150 in 2009, probably equivalent model to mine would be around $250 nowadays. Buy a good quality one and never have to replace it.

    • +2

How do you change such battery?

    • +1

You must be super clumsy to drop it countless times

  • Any specials on the brush heads?

  • +1

I have this exact toothbrush. what replacement brushes work with this?

  • Will wait for cashrewards I reckon

  • Is this more powerful than the $20 precision clean version? Thanks

    • +1

      Yeah noticeably more powerful.

  • Do Oral-B Vitality heads fit these brushes?

    • Yeah they're all interchangeable except for the top-end io line

    • Yep same heads

  • +1

what is the difference between this and my 5 year old 29 dollar oral b Electric Toothbrush from coles that still works?

    • Lithium battery

    • Possibly more powerful, more oscillations-rotating movements per minute, etc.

      • yeah doesnt' really justify the price of it.

    • Way more powerful. Your teeth will feel cleaner.

  • Still available for 14% cashback cashrewards 😀. Its not the best price it has ever been but with the cashrewards Ill take the plunge.

  • Thanks op. bought it with 14% cashback and heaps of gift cards I have left over from previous few cashrewards deals on choice gift cards

  • +1
