Their share price is down 44%. Will they be around in 5 years?

    • Hmm they have a $6B+ lending book. I'd say they'll be around.

Twitters share price is down 53% the past year. Will they be around? Actually, bad example…

AMP is down 80% since 2017, and they are still around.

    • The Trend on the JDO.ASX chart is definitely not your friend however they plan on growing the lending portfolio to $20B and have had a fair few broker upgrades. I’d like to think they will be around lol

    Are they safe?

    • they have a banking license and are accredited ADI if thats what you mean?

    • They know judo, of course safe unless you like karate more…

      • Would be better to call a bank "gentle way" rather than "empty handed" (aka karate)

      • Do they know their judo well though?

The question is why are you locking grandad into 5 years? Don't want him to spend his money as he gets older?

    • I’m against it, I told him to spend and referred him to the book Die with Zero however he just wants interest paid monthly and peace knowing the money is safe.
Recently downsized the family home but doesn’t meet the downsizer contribution rules.

      • In what way? I thought it was assured.

      • Do pops a favour and find access to AMM, rates at 3-4% for 12mth deposit, not 5 years.

  • I see you know your judo well.

    • A succulent Chinese meal

  • Looks like those rates are gone. Max rate is 4.25% for 5y paid on maturity now.
