A deal for us spearmint milk drinkers. Never tried this brand but paid $18 for 6L of spearmint.
Plenty of other flavours available at similar or cheaper prices. Keen to hear in the comments of other brands you recommend.

    • +1

Never heard of that but I'm not against it!

      • I only thought of it as I tried an "orange mocha" today at Zarraffas. It was bloody awesome!!

          ORANGE MOCHA FRAPPUCCINO!

Why they didn’t just call it Diabetes Topping, I will never know.

How dare you make ppl feel judged /s

I thought the free frypan would be OzB deal of the day, but this one tops it.

  • +5

    that's a lotta food colouring…and sugar.

    why not use baking flavouring?

    Never tried this brand

Pretty much most places that offers milkshakes and banana splits will use this brand ;) Good memories of having spearmint, banana, pineapple and honeycomb shakes.

Good to know. I saw the brand in a takeaway shop today and just looked up the syrup.

      • +1

So cottees is a bit stronger flavor and made nz. Edlynn is Aussie. You will need to add a bit more then you would cottees

    • +1

Exactly. If you've ever had a spearmint milkshake outside your house you've had this.

    • This was the stuff we used in my grandad's, then eventually my parents cafe for 25+ years before they eventually sold the business. We'd use the different flavours for milkshakes, ice-cream toppings and sometimes in coffees untill we started using a different brand for hot drinks.

      So many memories

Needs to be $9.04 cheaper for me to buy it. I couldn't think of anything worse as a drink flavour!

    • +11

Avocado powder surely would be worse?

      • +5

        right you are :).

  • +6

Toothpaste on your ice-cream anyone. Lol

I'd prefer to eat a turd.

    • +17

I'd prefer to eat a turd.

I'd prefer to eat mint choc ice-cream, but whatever floats your boat

      • -5

Diabetes vs eating a turd? Tough choice indeed.

        • How much gives you diabetes though? I seriously doubt a single mint choc ice-cream will.

          • -1

@Clear: Every bit count of sugar adds up in the end. Remember, type 2 diabetes (vastly more prevalent than type 1) is caused by dietary factors.

        • Eating copious amounts of shit may give you diabetes but mainly genetic.

    • Whatever happened to turd?

  • +4

last time made ice-cream with this…. taste like toothpaste.

    • i am dubious about the idea of "cookies and cream" topping

    • No Orange.

I was hoping to make Jaffa flavour, like my dad grew up with, for him.

    • +1

Lol, this should've been the original post.

I've been buying from Edlyn for a couple of years now and have been happy with everything from flavoured toppings to 8-12kg bags of cake and muffin mix.

They have good flat rate shipping from their own online store. Amazon Prime obviously beats that, but their shipping is really good compared to so many other sellers with heavy items.

Obviously personal taste is going to vary, but the pineapple topping is great!

Happy to support an Aussie company in Epping Victoria.

I bought 4 flavours of sugar free edlyn jelly and use them in regular rotation.

(Raspberry is better than Strawberry btw)

    • Yo Epping represent!

  • +1

FYI other flavours (banana, lime, blue heaven, chocolate), strawberry probably more?) are also the same price

    • +4

OP put the worst flavour in the title. Caramel would have been better.

      • +2

        Most flavours would've been…

Thanks Op, min 2 kills the deal for me.

  • +1

    spearmint? is this mouthwash?

  • +3

Very confused by this product, the comments, and also the words of the OP:

"A deal for us spearmint milk drinkers"

    ?????!

    • Only WA kids will get this post

At first I thought it’s coolant

    • +1

you need to stop sniffing petrol

  • +2

We use these with our roband.

    Honeycomb
    Strawberry
    Chocolate
    Blue heaven

Probably the best. Every cafe in Melbourne uses Edlyn. We usually order direct because you will want the pumps too. They do make 1.5L home bottles too now as you probably won't go through 3L. Especially spearmint!

We do traditional 710ml milkshakes and it takes us about a year and a half to go through a 3L topping when using the pumps.

    • Blue heaven flavour has me intrigued.

Can you please share what it tastes like? It's it berry flavour or blue coloured caramel? I read the description and it makes even less sense( flavour and cookies crumbs).

      Thanks in advance.

  • Any deals for just 1 instead of 2 bottles? 6L is a lot

    • they sell 1.5l bottles as singles but they're $6

      • I couldn't find any for spearmint though :(

  • +1

    That looks like Vulcan blood🖖

  • cottee's caramel is the same price too https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0159BGOHC

  • mmmm healthy lookin
