    Code seems generic 92687475552

Link to the powerboard goes nowhere.

      Fixed, thanks.

  • Thanks.
Does anyone have comments on Lenovo Smart Plug 2 Pack and Lenovo Smart Power Board?

    • +2

      They're both smart

      • +4

And one is a Plug and the other a Power Board?

        • +1

          You're smart :)

I think they're just tuya based plugs so pretty much same as all the other tuya based devices, see: https://templates.blakadder.com/lenovo_ZG38C02793.html

          • @bdl: Could I pair the smartplug with Tuya app or I need to use the Lenovo app?

            • +1

@desteoh: @desteoh , I don't have any experience with the Lenovo plugs but if they're Tuya based then they should work with the default app

  • Since when was there a Lenovo smart clock with Alexa? I researched not long ago and found nothing but google

    • +1

Released earlier this year and most likely the successor/alternative to the original Lenovo Smart Clock Essential.

      • Ah thanks, that explains it. It comes a bit late after echo show 5 etc having been so cheap and the main option in that category for Alexa users 🤔 hopefully they’ll move forward with newer variations.

  • i have a Lenovo Smart Clock Essential

and it's okay for the money - but its REALLY annoying how command turn off light, will turn off the room lights- but still leaves the annoyingly bright night light on back of unit on.
you can manually turn it off by holding down the button but it never remembers the setting.

    • +1

U need to say as "night light" instead of light

      • iirc i did try that when i first got it but it said something like cant find that light or something similar (or it did, but just turns it back on when i next say turn on light - when i was referring to turn on the lights in this room)

    • Does it have a thermometer or is it just the weather from google

      • +1

i am fairly sure it is google weather - i dont have an actual thermometer to compare.

      • It has no thermometer, a thermometer would show the temp inside and it is definitely the one outside.

    • Yeah it pissed me off when I found out this clock had like 1 button and the rest was voice commands, I just wanted a simple digital clock and didn't do any research. Also got it for $12 though.

  • Lenovo Smart Power Board

That's exactly what I was after! Except why is it only available as a 4 porter :(

    • Buy two? 🤷‍♂️

  • i have the lenovo smart clock with alexa, I find it annoying…it cant recognise the voice commands as well as the Amazon devices

  • +1

The Good Guys 70% off stock doesn't seem to exist.
Can't deliver and can't pick up.

  • +2

I have an essential. It's a great device but the display is a piece of crap.

The LED segments burn out one at a time at random. Not up to the task of running 24/7.

Seems to be common when I googled it.

  • TGG plug model is ZG38C03025 (available @ $8.98 each)
JB HiFi plug model is ZG38C03637

Couldn't find online the difference between the two.

    • +1

The difference in model number is due to 1 Pack vs 2 Pack. They are the same plug.

      • Thanks. Interesting that the packaging changed the model numbers.
If that's the case, then ZG38C03025 @ $8.98 at TGG looks like a better option.

  • Does this stack with perks credit?

    • Nope, only one coupon allowed per order

Coupon cannot be used in conjunction with any other coupon offer.

      • +1

Thanks, that rules me out then.

  • +1

Lenovo have exited the "smart" devices business so , don't expect any of this stuff to be available again once it's gone

    • That’s unfortunate. So they’re going to focus on their dumb laptop range?

    • So it could be cheaper in the near future

  • +1

i've got the smart clock essential, and it will light up in response to "hey google" but then will ignore every single thing i say after that. 2/10 would recommend. only thing it's good for is telling the time

  • Bought Lenovo Smart LED Lightstrip 5m for $20.98 from TGG.
    Thankfully there was stock nearby.
    Btw same price on Amazon

    • Gonski

  • Thinking of getting the Smart Clock 2… is the backlight bright when it's dark and just displaying the clock?

    • Smart Clock 1 screen goes very dark if you change the night setting to 'dim', dark grey on black, works well.

  • +1

Picked the Smart Clock Essential up on the way home. Wasnt expecting heaps with the speaker, but wow. Sound quality is terrible.

1st gen mini has better sound

  • Hi guys, for those lenovo smart power boards, are you able to turn different sockets on and off individually?

  • Can we set alarm? If possible, then can we set with two alarms or only one with smart clock essential? Thanks

    • You can set many more than 1. I set up at least 2. I am not sure there is an upper limit.

      • Thank you

  • Was able to price match both the white and coloured globes with jbhifi. They did limit it to one bulb per customer but were happy to do one white and one coloured in the same cart. Then applied my $10 perks voucher and came down to $0. Very happy, thanks OP

    • How did you do it? Did you go to the store apply 20% code and then apply $10 perk code?

      Or

Go to store ask to price match 20% without code and apply code $10 perk?

      Please share. Thanks

      • I got JB to price match the $4.20 and $5.70 prices for the white and coloured smart light, respectively. Then applied the $10 perks voucher on top of the discounted price, so came down to $0.

        • Thanks

  • +1

Lenovo home is trash. I would avoid it at all costs.

  • Can the coloured bulb be white light? Or is it only coloured?

This link is up for grabs if anyone wants both a white and coloured bulb. There is a $10 perks voucher applied so the cart comes down to $0, but you'll need to get it delivered ($12 postage) as there are no C&C options coming up

    Edit: Someone has used it

  • thanx Op, picked up a Smart Clock Essential last night on the way home

  • If anyone is after a coloured bulb price matched from JBHIFI for $5.70, with a perks coupon so the total is down to $0, then here is a link. Please only use the link if you're going to buy it as it will lock the purchase to your phone number

Thanks for the link, I have used it.

  • How come code doesn't work for me? Essential still $49?
