500g Pork Mince $4.50 (Was $6, Save $1.50) @ Coles

240

I just saw in Coles that 500g pork mince is now $4.50 from June 2022. It's normally $6.00. It's a Down Down deal so it should be staying down in price for a while.

I pair it with 500g of beef mince. Pork Mince has hardly any fat.

A great-value choice, regular pork mince typically contains less than 15% fat, making it a tasty choice for burgers and meatballs.
All our Coles Brand fresh pork is 100% Australian grown by Aussie farmers. Pigs are sourced from farms that comply with the Australian Pork Industry Quality Assurance Program Customer Specifications for Coles Supermarkets Australia Pty Ltd. • Must be lots of stock around. My local was discounting it to $2.25 to try to get rid of it.

Coles charged $5 for pork mince start of the year, puts it up to $5.5, then $6 then marks it down to $4.5 permanently and claims a $1.50 down down what garbage. And Aldi straight away drops theirs to $3.99, go Aldi

Agree. The tactics of both Coles and Woolworths are disgusting. I especially hate the putting an item on "special", then when the special is over, putting the item at a new higher price.

  • Pork mince is about the only item I can think of that has dropped in price over the past few months. Good to know there is deflation somewhere.

Pork Mince has hardly any fat.

3 star beef mince 17% fat
    Pork mince 15% fat
    Both are very unhealthy.
