  • Cheapest earbuds with multipoint connection

I don't know anything about them, but these Baseus buds found on the link from the OP look a lot like the Huawei Freebuds Pro and claim to have 'Baseus Smart Connect' for simultaneous connection to two devices. Should be low $50s depending on eBay discounts, but appear to be coming from China.

I just find the ones with a stem (such as Airpod Pros) work better for voice calls.

Actually before I mislead anyone, upon doing a bit more research it appears the Baseus Smart Connect feature is still coming according to a Baseus comment from a month ago on a youtube video for these buds.

Sorry, The dual-connection function of M2 is still being optimized, and will be upgraded via OTA through the Baseus APP. At that time, the Baseus APP will have an update prompt, and the updated content will include the dual-connection function of M2.

      • Do you have any experience with the huawei freebuds pros? I've been looking to try them after seeing some reviews on them off youtube

        • Unfortunately not - they are on my radar as a multi-point Airpod Pro alternative, but price is still a bit more than I am looking to spend for now.

          • +1

@djkelly69: They are on discount at 142 off Amazon right now about half the price of airpods pros, hense why I've been wanting to try them

    • Have your compared voice quality of the baseus buds vs the xiami?

Also would be keen to hear about fit.. regularly air buds are the worst, they won't fit in my ears . The Xiaomi remind me a bit of the galaxy buds pros, which I also struggle to keep in my ears. Jabra elite 75t and Samsung buds bud 2 are some of the best I've used. I also don't mind air pod pros, but I haven't tried to exercise in them

i have these - they are excellent - especially if you have a xiaomi phone as you get extra functionality - great price op

A third party dev has made the app available for non-xiaomi phones too, I haven't tested if it works but I've ordered a pair with this deal so will see https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=bz.zaa.mibudsm…

      • good to know - you wont be disappointed - sound quality is great

    • How is the call quality and microphone when outside? I often talk to friends when I walk the dog and keen to try these at this price point.

      • ive only used them once outside while walking on a call - i didnt notice any difference in quality of sound - no complaints from person i was talking to - mic quality is super - btw listening to flac files off phone great too - pretty flat response - or use graphic equaliser for different profiles

Thanks mate. That's convincing enough for me to get a pair to try. Thanks for sharing your views. Cheers.

    • How do they compare to SoundPEATS Air3 ?

      • +1

These and the H1 are the top SoundPEATS TWS.

        • Sounds good! - I posted this + the Air 3's as a separate deal - credited you :)

      • I bought one waiting to be delivered

  • Needing a Xiaomi phone to access the extra features ruined these for me, given I have an iPhone.
Which is a shame, as they ticked all my boxes other than that.

Does anyone else find that earphones with the silicone tips always fall out of your ears? I have tried a few different earphones and always have the same problem.

  • All gone by the looks of things.

  • Black has been oos. Grey is still available HERE

    • Go to Deal link needs to be updated so.

    • 15% off doesn't seem to work on the Grey one's ?

  • Its back?
    Just purchased the grey one.

Update on this, I received these today. Early days but pretty happy with the quality so far. They feel premium, metal grill and all. Also the 3rd party Mi Buds M8 app works fine on my android (non xiaomi). Paired easily with my phone + laptop and work seamlessly between the two.

ANC is surprisingly good, but make sure you do the fit test (its in the app). It worked best for me with the biggest eartips as they provided a good seal for my ears but different may work better for you. Will use these next week for work zoom meetings and running.
