Thanks you already packed and Australia post pickup in in the next 15 minutes.

  • $9.67 shipping to 2600 :(

    • better to get two lots?

      Postage - $10.54 - Parcel Post (Signature on Delivery) - 600g to postcode 2203

Looks like it maxes out at $13.60 - Parcel Post (Signature on Delivery) - 3000g to postcode 2203

      • coupon only takes $5 off one lot, the second lot is at full fare

    • same for SEQ

this page has the table for the Australia post rates on our contract https://outbackjerky.com.au/index.php?route=information/info…

    • Should Toowoomba in SE Qld be considered remote?
600g (2x10 pack) is showing as estimated $19 parcel shipping to 4350 for me.
      300g (1 pack) is $13.59

Obviously I preferred the old $9 flat shipping rate.

      • Post have broken most states in to 3 zones city, metro & remote. remote could be just out of the metro area. Its a shame but due to all our rising cost we could no longer subsidies shipping by offering flat rate. so before we would have paid $10 and you $9 to cover your postage of $19

      • Come on - those purchases will fit into a Small AusPost satchel which costs $9.30 (before volume discount) to post Australia wide

Try using the plastic satchels - S, M, L and XL. Very attractive flat rates for up to 5kg.

  • Ordered! I ordered it last time and it was really good.

    • Thank you

Oh you guys are very local a first for me on OZ and allow pick up

    • Just a shame you gave a negative vote. We do like pickup customers it saves on the packaging of the post pack.

  • Do you sell lard, by any chance?

    • +2

We don't sell lard but if your local and can come to the factory I am happy to give you some for free.

      • Nah, I'm in a different state πŸ™. Thanks anyway.

  • Do I need to get signature on delivery? Surely they can just leave it near the front door?

    • -1

unfortunately all our packages are sign on delivery. Before we started sign on delivery 1-2% of what we post out would go missing in the post.

      • Sign on delivery option does not add to the postage cost- only an option the send elects!!!!
My earlier posts shows this seller well and truly over-state the postage cost for their product.
By the way, we send over 1,000 AusPost items per month so are well and truly informed to comment on AusPost costs.

        • I don't care about the cost. It's a PIA having to queue up at the Post Office on the weekend with 100 other people when they could just leave them in my letter box or front door.

          • @jimbler: Surprised you're still getting asked for Signature. The amount of parcels that I've received that have Signature on Delivery or Do not leave unattended, where that hasn't been done is about 80% of the parcels and it's getting worse. They don't even bother ringing the doorbell anymore, I've seen them walk up, put it on the floor, one even chucked a parcel from the driveway, they then take a photo and walk off.

I've walked out at times and found 4 o 5 parcels all on the floor, it's like a postie ninja has come around. 😝

I get it they're busy, but ringing the doorbell and walking away would take pretty much the same amount of time than what they do now.

I've asked the posties (about 3 regulars) nicely a few times, just to ring the doorbell as there is always someone home, they say "yes", but never do. πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ
