I have been asked to return the wrong one and then they will send the correct one. I have been provided with the shipping label. Since the Yoda one is out of stock, they will just refund me I assume.

I received my order today and have just put it on. My first oodie so can’t compared to their old version but I’m happy and it’s warm. A few loose threads but otherwise all good.

@OCD Completionist: Not that I noticed! A bit more fell off after drying though, will be keeping an eye out on the stitches.
With something like this I wash it in a big mesh bag I got from Daiso. It stops the machine getting fluff in the drum.

Very different packaging to the original ones I got 12 months ago. Now vacuum sealed. Havent opened the one I got as its a pressie. The one for myself only just got shipping notification today. Both the old one and new one weigh in at 1.44kg
That's a shame as I bought one here for a present and the bag it used to be presented in was a nice touch for a gift.

wow i got the vacuum sealed product, but it was inside a yellow parcel sachel for postage. i.e. no additional bag.
@spaiydz: Same, I bought two- mine was vacuumed packed but only in a satchel; the other one bought as a gift had an additional bag which was nice as looked better to gift.
@Craze: Looks like old ones with 'oodie' logo on the tag (near pocket) will come with the additional bag. New oodie with 'OO' logo will not, and these are the ones with the chemical smell.
Two of the ones I ordered came with the drawstring bag, the third one didnt. I lodged a query with Oodie and was advised the newer ones dont come with the bag .

These bags were only ever designed as an easy way to transport our Oodies and were never designed as a way to store them. Hmm, I'm starting to think those ordering more than one are going to get shafted here. I ordered a Mickey in my order of 4 on Saturday afternoon and got a similar email to the above today and none have shipped to date.
Received all 3 of mine yesterday and today. One smelt fine, one was a little bit chemical but a machine wash has sorted it out.
The third is for a Christmas present…does anyone know if I should keep it vacuum sealed until then or air it out now?
I would leave it vacuum sealed if it is a present. Up to the recipient how they want to deal with it on when the time comes.
For those interested this is the bag mine came in. It isn’t cloth, it is more like the “reusable bags” you get when you go to things like the home show.

I ordered 2, only 1 of them came with the bag. For such a big company you'd think they can afford a bag per oodie.
Their FAQ only states ribbon bow and Oodie branded mailing satchel. So a gamble whether you will get the bag.

The one I ordered on 23/7 had the same grey bag, but interestingly the two I ordered on 22/7 both had orange bags. Maybe the orange ones got used first, then the grey, and then they ran out altogether.

Just received an email with the remaining two orders I made on 23/7. Kids purple monsters inc and blue grogu. Finally on their way with delivery.
Received 2 of mine today for my kids, both have chemical smell on them, might want to give them a wash.

Received my Taz this morning in the grey bag. Vacuumed packed inside. Minimal fluff. No smell. Have nothing to compare it to but very happy with it. Feels very warm. We're expecting very wet weather this week so perfect timing
Received mine today, not my original order (Taz) which got canned because of them overselling grr, but I managed to get the blue star wars one from the limited options for subsequent order so ok.
Omg this thing is huge, one size fits all is an understatement! I'm 35 weeks pregnant and I look 3 times bigger in this lol It's super warm which is what I wanted, 2/3 through winter & finally got something especially cosy to wear.FWIW, received e-mail their Avo oodie is $40 off today (down to $69).

Guess I'm lucky to get most of it, my sister ordered just 1 blue mandalorian after me and got cancelled. I didn't get the oversold email though, just a "refund notification" email.

Just thought I would let everyone know that the Oodies were delivered earlier today :)
I made a comment a few pages ago that I ordered 2. I meant to say 4. One each for everyone in my house.
Surprisingly none of ours were canceled. I ordered mine on Saturday 11.20pm so way way after the deal went live. I had no hope the order would be fulfilled given how people had theirs canceled and were still early in the queue.

There are only 3 in the photos because the 4th is a duplicate Mickey Mouse one so no need to take a photo of that one.
Ours is the one with the Oodies logo and came with a bag.
First impressions are these are great. Everyone in my house likes them. It is our first Oodies and these are so comfy and heavy. Very nice for Winter.
I didn't notice any smell coming from them either. All of them were vacuum sealed as well.
I give them a 10/10. Time will tell how well it holds up but I am very happy with mine and so is my family.
Great, I ordered 2 oodies on Sunday morning….. so very late…. I thought my 2 Oodies would get cancel. One of them is the same as yours mickey mouse space. The other one is pink Monster Inc. I just got email this morning with a tracking number. How long does it take for you to get yours after you got tracking number? I wonder if they are from overseas warehouse.
So my order was placed on 23rd July and I got the Australia Post email on 28th July. Delivery was today 2nd August.
Funnily enough I never got an email from Oodie that my order was sent. I only got the Australia Post tracking email. So all this time I had no idea what I was receiving.
I forgot to mention in my above post the Oodies I received were: 1 Moana Summer Oodie, 2 x Black Space Mickey Mouse Oodie and 1 x Frozen Anna Oodie.
