    Dysoon V8 sounds like something I'd see on Wish.

      die soon ?

        that would also suck

      • The batteries don't last long, we learnt the hard way

    It’s so good that Dyson are selling replacement parts. Just cleaned my V6, put in a new battery and it’s as good as new

    • I've got a V6 and looking to replace the battery, where did you get yours from?

          My mate bought a replacement battery dyson compatible from ebay, last way longer than V6 original battery and cost half the price.

            @Clementt: Any links?

            • +1

              @meong: That was back in 2019, $51.49 for 4.8AH with 5 years warranty and AU stock. The listing back then was 4.8AH battery for dyson absolute V6 DC58 DC59 DC61 DC62 D72 DC74 BC683.

              Quick search on ebay shows 9ah now.

            @Clementt: Most people (myself included) find 3rd party dyson batteries to be fairly poor quality except maybe in the first couple of months.

            @Clementt: I'd rather buy genuine. Not risking anything with batteries.

      • eBay.

  • Standard sale price, Myer had it for this for ages.
    IMO, better off trying to get one with more attachments I returned the basic one after a bit of stuffing around.

    • It got down to $450.

      • Yeah got it for $440 eBay
        Just saying better to get one with all the extras as you'll do your arse buying any extra attachments.

        • Its not even the extra attachments, the new motorbar motorised head has things to stop hair tangling around the brush. Something you'll regret not having if you have lots of long haired members of the family.

          • @ATangk: Yeah that's why I got the 2022 model however will make minimal difference with no pets and stuff personally, but got one for the folks too so should be good. The ultimate edition was 430$ all up with cashbacks etc, heaps of extra attachments.

      • How?

  • Bunnings stock Dyson now? Wow

  • Pretty sure this one Bunnings sells is the older version with the old version of the motor head. Saw it at Bunnings the other day and noticed from the packaging and the display unit.

  • 2022 version was on sale for cheaper

  • If you have Samsung EPP access, you would be much better off with the Samsung Jet 70 Pet which is cheaper and beats V8 in pretty much all categories according to the rtings reviews.

  • V8 animal is $449, what's the difference guys ?

    • Man v beast I guess

      Have a look through the other threads, heaps of discussion on these. Mostly comes down to different attachment bundled, it may have the old Motorhead though.

  • $474.05 through powerpass
