  • I'm still struggling to find anything worthwhile in the Lenovo store… there's only so many cheap keyboards, mice, webcams, etc. I need.

    • Get a tablet for the loungeroom.

      • +1

Don't need one for my wife or me… only thing I can think of is maybe for the toddler. Is the Lenovo Tab M7 Gen 3 Iron Grey going to be ridiculously slow/painful to use though? (reminds me of when I bought the Samsung A20 which was a good deal, but loading Youtube Kids is so slow it makes me cringe)

        • It runs on Android Go, which is a stripped down version for lower specs. I think its worth the less than $20 for that kind of use if you have nothing else in mind.

      • Same

    • They sell Ergotron products if that helps.

      • Yeah I saw that too, but their price is so high that after the 200 discount it is barely worth it, like on par with Amazon regular price.

        • I just had a look. They are definitely jacked prices.

  • +1

:( .. Seems the party is over .. just $2 in the account

  • Signed up SMB, bought a monitor, hope I get it!

  • +1

I got $202 reward but in check out I only can use $2 the rest $200 disappeared

  • Got a gaming headset. Thanks OP

  • Is it expired? I don't see $100 points anywhere

  • +3

Hoping that if they cancel, they only cancel free stuff, not stuff where additional $ was paid. That would be great, at least. But, I expect everything cancelled. Even if 10% of the 8K clicks actually redeemed, that's 800 * 100 = $80,00 lol

    • +3

don't understand why everything would be cancelled. It's not like we used a loophole or anything, they just gave away $100 with no min spend, and we used it.

      • +1

Presumably a promotional error, as others said you weren't supposed to get this much credit.

If it were challenged they'd have to honour it I think though, as you say, no T&Cs violated.

Expensive lesson for the intern, hopefully

      • +3

It's happened in the past. They'll call it an error, apologise and that'll be it.

        • +1

Yeh exactly, pretty sure any sort of law falls on their side for any possible "error" like this.

      • Well if something is too good to be true…

      • +1

Going off some previous comments some people created up to 8+ accounts so yeah most likely will be cancelled

        • +1

aw shit, then yeah, that outright abuse

    • +1

Don't think that they would be cancelling anything as it is something that they have planned for. Expired because it has reached their limit. 80k is nothing for a company like Lenovo.

      • Rather odd for a company like Lenovo not knowing they need a minimum spend for promotions like these.

      • Lenovo doesn't need good customer service.

Only places like Bunnings who sell themselves as a good company.

  • So… what are chances Lenovo honors this? :/

    • like 1/9495 : )

    • +2

if you order the "ready to ship" products, they might not have the chance to dishonor. Those will be shipped tomorrow

  • +7

    I gave up.
Still have $100. Playing the long game, waiting for cancellations then I'll get back in mwah ha ha

    • +1

Note that in your account, it says Points expire after 365 days of inactivity

    • Wish I'd thought of that!

    • +2

Not if they withdraw the points ;)

  • I just had to sms verify with my bank that I will be paying them $0

    Let the games begin!!!

  • Got Samsung 980 PRO MZ-V8P500BW for $7.9, thanks op

Warehouse packers gonna rock up to work tomorrow and it'll either be business as usual or they'll cry.

  • +3

    Signed up, no $100 credit..

  • +2

    Only got $2

Still being advertised on the home page as $100

  • Hmm $2. Lame

  • Is it actually expired??

  • Still working if you sign up to LenovoPro. $202 credit instantly comes into the account

    • Could not get through the join rewards page - keeps getting directed to an error page with flashaccount.lenovo.com.au/…..

      • Go to your my account pages and sign up through there

    • +5

      Shhhhhhhhhh

  • Why is it expired now ?

    • Somone at Lenovo probably noticed lol

  • Expired, sad face). I just cooked my meal, which costs me 100 bucks.

    • +1

      What did you cook?

      • +1

Lobster and caviar by the sounds of it

        • +1

          lololol

Prob eating sushi off naked Japanese girls

      • some little greens

  • I just placed order see if they honour

  • showing $100 in my rewards but reduce to $2 when checkout , lol well done guys hopefully they ship everything

    • Mine is still applying the rewards. As someone mentioned above, it's probably within their marketing budget but probably didn't anticipate it would run out in a couple of hours (hence the expiry date on 31/07)

  • +6

Ordered something for $88 and got $12.32 cashback tracked from Cash Reward.

    • Well aren't you a genius. Cashrewards didn't even occur to me.

    • Got $14 tracked. You genius.

  • +7

The promotion text is very clear - "Get $100 in points to spend
Join MyLenovo loyalty program today to get $100 in points straight away.
Redeem points on your next purchase made within 2 weeks of credit. Offer expires 31st July."

I'd argue that this is different to a price error and if they don't honour this promotion that would be misleading and deceptive conduct.

  • +10

For those who think this is a mistake, it is exactly as advertised. I think they just misunderstood how many people would see it.

    • The only problem is they didn't say how many signup allowed.

Guys i just bought a ThinkPad 512GB PCIe NVME TLC OPAL M.2 SSD
for $10. i dont know how. a CLEARANCE coupon removed $184 of it ssomehow. Im going back for another one.

    • Please explain

    • Similar thing happened to me. I somehow ended up with $300 with of credit.

I got the tablet and headphones though

Both ordered under the one account

    • How did you do that? CLEARANCE doesnt seem to work for me.

      • +1

I think CLEARANCE is intended for this SSD: https://www.lenovo.com/au/en/p/accessories-and-software/memo…

Unsure of the difference, but this one shows $110 in cart. Minus the $100 rewards credit would have made it $10 possibly?

        • Your right. in my hurry to post it here i clicked on the wrong one. thanks for posting the right one
I got the $200 pro reward for using my abn but this SSD is not discounted in the PRO section of Lenovos website.

          • @Izzy1985: Ah that makes sense. I just realised they have a separate store for those signed up under biz rewards.
Luckily I did both, bought 1 too. Cheers.

            • @truetypezk: HOLY MOLY
              Samsung 980 PRO MZ-V8P500BW - SSD - 500 GB - PCIe 4.0 x4 (NVMe)
              Paid $7 with ABN reward

              • +1

@Izzy1985: Saw that too but it is not ready to ship, which means much lower chance of actually getting it.

    • Also got this for $10

  • +3

Thanks OP got a ThinkPad 512GB PCIe NVME TLC OPAL M.2 SSD for $8

  • Thanks OP, bought the gaming headset for $4

    • When did u join, I got only $2

      • +1

Joined about an hour ago, but I only just placed the order.

  • +3

Thanks OP! This is one of the greatest finds ever.

I ended up getting a pair of BlueAnt Pump Air X wireless earphones for 1c (using a business registration to get the $200)

    • +1

I also got the Blueants for 1c. Will be amazing if they honor the promotion.

  • +2

For anyone who has signed up and holding on to make an order, they could be sneaky and withdraw the reward points or cancel orders with a delayed shipping time. Better to order items ready to ship if it interests you.

  • +2

Legend OP, ordered the 7inch ;)

    • When did you order/sign up for an account? A while ago or just recently?

      • I signed up an hour or so ago/links took a bit to work but received invoice.
