Or show $180 and the 300 has no discount

You ought to beat below prices to be competitive

    $200 Sim for $150.00 - delivered
    $300 Sim for $219.50 - delivered

    • +2

Fair enough for $300 sim, they are cheaper.
Our $200 sim at $152 includes registered Auspost shipping with tracking and signature. Looks like it would an extra $5 with them?

      • +2

They do free registered delivery without signature for $200 sim.

It's even cheaper using their deal at OW 5% off price match, making it $142.50 ;)

        • Any idea what the expiry is if I get the $200 sim from OW.

        • +3

Tried that today at OW Sunshine Coast, to no avail. Kid said the site was "sus" (◔_◔)

          • @wisdomtooth: Plenty of people have had success in-store. They have their ABN at the bottom. Perhaps give OW a call to price match?

          • @wisdomtooth: Hey, can you please confirm if OW can price beat luckymobile or langford food shop on call?

            • @kingOfDeals: The guy I tried it with at the Maroochydore store refused, but the lady I did it with at the Virginia store did it pronto, no questions asked.

Are you sure mate? Looks like it’s a regular letter with tracking which is free. Registered post is additional $5 as I see it

          • @aoujay51: When i last saw it was registered without signature for free. Anyway the point is people can still get it cheaper there or even less at OW 5% off price match with LM.

            • @dingdong3000:

By that logic, no store would be good enough since OW 5% off would beat any store. That logic would drive competition to the ground rendering OW to become the monopoly.

              • @gopp: If i can get the same product cheaper from elsewhere then that is where I'll most likely purchase.
It's one of the main reasons why we're all on ozb

That's just the ozb crowd. Most shoppers don't go through ozb to get their sims.

                  • @gopp: I don't care if that's the case. I was making everyone on this thread aware that it can be bought cheaper. Some have clearly benefited from it.
                    What's your problem?

Your business advice isn't as sound as you think it is.

                      • @gopp: Why do you care?

Just in case you didn't know you aren't as bright as you think you are and still go around spamming other businesses.

                          • @gopp: Who are you to tell me what to do? I'm sure you're no better whether i'm bright or not you cannot stop me from posting.

    • $200 Sim for $150.00 - delivered(luckymobile.com.au)

      Looks like it's $152 now.

  • Will Boost offer esim anytime soon?

    • Not sure but they should considering they are owned by telstra and its telstra that make sales thru 3rd party name.

    • It seems like they don't make enough money off us plebs! You've got to be willing to pay the ludicrous prices for a Telstra SIM. <bitter>

    • I've been waiting since their CEO announced that they will quite some time ago but since no more news, I would stay with Boost almost forever if they introduce esim, that's the only thing making them less than perfect to my needs.

    • Someone in one of the other deals said their support claims early Sep.

  • +1

Any chance to beat lucky mobile's pricing?

  • how to have same price package recharge but no new SIM. I am already using boost

    • Port out, back in

      • Naaah too much hassle…one month use another sim… Then port in out dramas… Na

        • +1

Hand in your OzBargain pass hahah. But seriously though, just grab a $1 Kogan SIM and you can generally port out and back in to Boost within an hour. No need to use another SIM for a month.

I've generally found that porting between SIMs that use different networks (Telstra <-> Voda) will be smooth, and also try to do it during business days.

          • @chuac: Wow… Great tip :)
I read somewhere about one month thing… All good then, thanks

    • Call them, say you went to recharge but it was much more expensive than what you paid. They just refunded me after I bought it from the website.

      • I can try… Mine expiring in nov 2022. I can get the sim and tell customer service to apply the code as recharge

  • +2

I would buy this if I can use it to top up my expiring Boost 365 in Nov. But too worried will have to port out of boost and port back in and hope better deals in Oct. 😔

  • I know it says it uses Telstra network but do you get 5g and no capped speeds? If so this is a fantastic deal. 11gb for 12.66 a month on Telstra network would be amazing.

    • +3

Yep, 5G and no capped speeds. Test right now in Hobart is 266 Mbps down / 46 up.

      • Awesome thanks. Jumping on this deal!

        • +2

Should point out that 5G on Boost is currently a 'trial' until around November. No word on what is happening after that.

          • @Vool: From their website

After the trial, your service will default back to the standard in-market network access for your chosen plan

      • I tested last week after getting one from a previous deal, got 967 down / 54 up in Melbourne

Bought $200 sim from auditech at $148 yesterday.

  • Two question: !. Can I rollover the unused data after 12 months when recharge the sim? 2. How can I add roaming service? I may use it overseas. Thanks.

  • Interested in a couple of these, whats the process to port over from my telstra number?

    • +1

I believe if you call up Boost, they will send you a blank sim that you can use to port over. Not sure if the process has changed in recent times

  • +1

Picked up a $300 boost starter pack for $208.53 from Officeworks today, price matching Lucky Mobile

    • Is it possible for you to share the picture of the receipt?

      • A few people posted receipt in this thread not long ago and some have PB $300 sim through OW no problem
