      That may have been during a period of over production due to lockdowns and high demand. I bought the 48 pack deal with S&S as its the best one I can find at the moment.

      Interestingly, if you compare this 45 pack with the standard 20 pack from Colesworth (the one with the floral purple pattern) these plain white rolls are much harsher/not as soft. Plus the sizing is different. I wouldn't be surprised if they're manufactured elsewhere for cheaper.

      The idea of importing paper pulp into Aus sounds ridiculous to me. I'd like to think it's mostly additives that are imported but I've heard its more. Honestly wonder how well our recycling system actually works.

    Not related to the toilet paper listed, but has anyone found another viable place to purchase the 4 ply king size 20 packs? It seems they are a Coles exclusive, everywhere else online sells only 4 ply gold or 3 ply king size, but not the double whammy king size 4 ply. I am particular about my toilet paper lol.

      Same as my husband. He doesn’t want anything other than 4 ply king size.
      I’ve only been able to get it once in the last year or so. It’s completely disappeared from shelves and Coles Online. Have never found it sold anywhere else…

      Different quality though. I've found Quilton TP to have better strength and you're less likely to poke a hole through it whilst wiping. While I do also like the Kirkland ones (I'll get it if Quilton isn't available), I also prefer the size of the Quilton rolls. I find it fits our roll holders better.

    So I placed 2 packs on cart and tried to check out and it was charging delivery (wrongly). So I switched to collect and the place I chose didn't offer collection. So I cancelled collection and went back to cart to check delivery and the item was no longer available. Fail . Thanks Amazon .. !😡

      Nope! I always order the S&S. Once your first order is delivered simply cancel the S&S online. They ask for a reason and there is no penalty.

    The quality of this product dropped markedly in the first year of COVID - it was around September 2020. The quality has never quite recovered to what it was, although it is now slightly better than the period Sep 2020-Jul 2021.

      I've found that the Kirkland brand toilet paper have a lot of loose fluff on it which gets left behind when wiping.

    The double length one has always been available. It's just slightly more expensive but it's better than using kitchen paper towel to wipe you butt

      I know you're probably saying it jokingly, but I just felt it necessary to point out that unless you're throwing the paper towel in the bin, please don't. TP is designed to break down when it's in water, whilst paper towels aren't.

    last time I bought quilton tissues and tp, I was not impressed with the quality (apart from the King Gold I bought) Certainly not worth it. I am happy to get the Woolies brand tp or aldi, then Coles if I can't get theirs. Quilton USED to be really good quality, although I have noticed many brands have downgraded their quality over the last few years, but putting their prices up
