Seems a way better per roll price than Coles or Woolies offer. Submitting from my phone apologies if formatted incorrectly

I would get these but my toilet paper holder can't handle them lol

    • +15

I weirdly love them! Sometimes there’s a deal on normal length loo paper and I always resent having to change the roll so frequently

      • FWP

        • +3

          FWP

          Use Fingers, Wipe (on) Pants?

        • Actually, DWP. FW has graduated to bidets

    • +1

I'm in the same boat, would love them but last time we got them they would just get jammed and then tear until we used a 1/3 of the roll because there isn't enough space on our roll holder :( boo.

  • +17

The 48 pack on Amazon is cheaper.

    • -5

      This is double length…

      • +9

        Double 20 is 40?

        • +5

          Yes that's correct.

    • Can you link to it.
      I can only find a 45 pack and it's way expensive $65.

  • +24

I believe that 45 pack $18.90 or 48 pack $19.80 is better value, as this deal is equal to 40 rolls at a higher price.

    • +7

True, but factor in the labour costs for changing the rolls and this works out cheaper ;)

      • +5

Swapping a roll more often it’s not a problem.

      • How long does it take you to change a toilet roll?

      • Yeah, but increased physical activity is better long term!

      • Cheaper still if no wiping.

    • Where. I can't find them.
All I see is 45 pack $65 and links for 38pack divert to the 45.

      • Sold out 2-3 hours ago according to the deal posts for each. Should be back at some stage in the near future.

        • +1

          Yep, available again this morning.
I’ve been checking for a few weeks, I guess I check at the wrong time.

  • i buy these even if it's more expensive.. changing the roll frequently is annoying.

they used to have triple length? i'd even go a commercial roll if my wife would allow it

    • +1

I bought a triple length pack from Woolies not too long ago.

  • +1

the cost of handover vs the cost of hand wiping

    • +1

It's free if you're just using your hand.

  • I get Kleenex cottonelle 24 pack from Woolworths for $11.60 minus 10% insurance offer minus 4% gift cards equals ~ $10.02.

Not for everyone though, I know some people hate those rolls

    • +1

Kleenex and Spent….. The brands that are always in stock

    • +7

Kleenex is the worst. Always tearing. Same with their paper towel.

      Viva la Quilton!

    • Quality not good. Even cheaper.

  • Price per 100 sheets correct unit for comparison.

    • I think weight might be the best metric

  • +1

    31.25 cents per 100 sheets.

Aldi double lengths are cheaper (but not triple ply)…and don't need to buy 20 pack.

    • Can you get them at the moment?
Or surrounding stores haven't had stock for a month, they've got Quilton & Sorbent in its place :-(

    • +1

      Aldi Confidence is 3 ply

      • Extra confidence over the 2-ply. An extra sheet between you and the… sheet?

    • +6

Why not. Get the bulky stuff delivered to your door.

    • +4

Why not, it's cheaper than in supermarkets. And a huge cardboard box as a bonus.

      • +4

Exactly. I was weighing up going to the shops, the only thing I need soon is toilet paper, and this was cheaper per roll than the supermarkets anyway! Saved myself petrol, time, and some money - it was a no lose purchase for me

Others may prefer cheaper toilet paper and I’m certainly not going to pretend this is the cheapest of the cheap. But every time I go for bargain toilet paper I… regret it…

    • +3

      You must be new here

      • Obviously was not here during the lockdown era

  • Decent deal. I stick with the triple length, for moral reasons.

  • -5

I found it difficult to clean my bum only with my left hand, so stopped buying quilton.
May as well just use the 5 finger discount method cleaning your bum, it's a lot cheaper! I mean, what's the difference between a couple of brown fingers and all 5? (… well 4)
I stick to sorbent and kleenex because you never have an accidental finger blowout with them.

    • +3

Sorbent and Kleenex always blow out

      Quilton 3 ply need fold

Quilton Gold no fold no blowouts

  • Ohhh… thanks for the info! Do you reckon quilton gold target chicken curry eaters?

    • Gold is very good

  • +1

The Confidence 8 pack (3 ply, 360 sheets 11x10) for $7.49 in aldi is still a good price.

    • Is it still $7.49?
I think price already goes up recently

      • yes, is still 7.49

  • amazon reminded me I had bought this last year - just checked and the price was $14.71! That's a hell of an increase.

  • -1

Seems a way better per roll price than Coles or Woolies offer

It's 11% cheaper per roll than Coles (not on sale), and Aldi options are substantially cheaper than either. How did this "deal" get so many upvotes?

    • +2

None of the Aldi's have any stock at all

  • Is this cheaper than Costco?

  • for those who has costco membership: costco has 48 pack . 180 sheet rolls for $19.49

  • +1

    I got Quilton 3 Ply Toilet Tissue (180 Sheets per Roll, 11x10cm), Pack of 45 (9 Pack x 5 = 45) arrive today for $18.90 with Amazon S&S.

  • +1

Isn't this listing better??? We are getting 5x180 more.
