    This might be a glitch since it is saying 20% off $100 GC but actually working with any GC value.

    EDIT: Only applicable for the Uber GC. For the UberEats GC, the discount wouldn't apply unless you add $100 GC

    Thanks OP. One of the best use for me is use discounted GC for old trips paid by CC.
    Just a handy tip if you have had any rides in the past 30 days which you paid via cc/non gift card you can go back on the app click on receipt and choose change payment type and pay by these discounted GC's.

      I've taken ~20 trips in the past 30 days, 12 paid by Apple Pay (linked visa) and 8 paid by credit card (the same visa but directly entered).

      Tried to switch the payment method - oddly enough only 4 of these let me change it automatically via the system. 2 Apple Pay ones and 2 direct CC ones. Not sure why, reading the conditions apparently Apple Pay ones are not able to be switched? But it worked for some and not others.

      For the rest I just did the manual entry and wrote "switch full amount to Uber credits". Fingers crossed.

      If it doesn't work…. I guess I'm ordering Uber eats every day for the next month.

            @Dr Fruit: Yes, I just leave a msg. I think under your receipt there is an option need help or something. Just tell them you want to switch payment method and they they do it from backend. Don't think I have ever used live chat with Uber, not sure if that's an option?

      Pick up has no service fee.

      There are always a few decent priced buy one get one free deal in my area.

          By default it will use gift card first, if you cover the full amount, you can't even choose Mastercard and order is still eligible for free delivery.

          Daresay the ACCC will end up taking issue with this - particularly given they advertise a paid service as removing delivery fees. I believe the service fee disappears on pickup too? So not sure how they get away with it.
