Under some conditions, there may be a delay of up to 30 minutes for the $3 bonus to show in your account. Please don't worry.

$3 Bonus Promo Terms - please read carefully - it will save a lot of questions:

  1. To be eligible for the $3 bonus, you must first activate the promotion on this page, then purchase a Choice gift card of $30 denomination (or higher) via the Gift Card Page on Cashrewards (link is on the activation page).
  2. After activation, gift card purchase must be made between 11am and 4pm AEST 17/08/2022. Bonus will decline if purchase is made after 4pm AEST.
  3. Activations are capped at 3000. Once activation limit is reached, you can still purchase until 4pm AEST (provided you first activated the bonus).
  4. Bonus is eligible on purchase of a Choice gift card of $30 denomination (or higher) in a single transaction.
  5. Bonus will be added automatically to your Cashrewards account as pending upon activation of this offer. Bonus will be approved within 7 days of the associated qualifying purchase being approved, as per the terms of the store.
  6. Bonus is over and above the advertised cashback rate which still applies to the transaction.
  7. Gift card purchases through the Gift Card Page are available only via desktop or mobile browsers. They are not available via the Cashrewards App.
  8. Bonus is limited to one per Cashrewards account. Additional transactions do not qualify for additional bonuses.
  9. Cannot be used in conjunction with Cashrewards Refer-a-Friend or any other promotion that may be active at this time.

            @turtlesinmypants: If they're MasterCard or Visa gift cards:

            Had to go through the same dispute process as with any MC or Visa card but through the form provided by the gift card provider.

            Timeline is 10 weeks if lucky and the dispute transaction must be within 120 days.

            If they're retailer ones or with Woolies, pretty much no luck.

      If you use them mainly for Amazon or Woolworths, it's just easier to swap and load them into Amazon wallet or Woolworths Money app straight away so you don't need to bother about tracking. I wish Coles had some app like Woolworths Money to keep track of GCs and their balances.

      • You can exchange the Choice gift card for an Amazon gift card, which can then be added to your Amazon account balance. Please note you can only do this once per Choice gift card. In other words, if you have a $30 Choice gift card and initially swap it for a $10 Amazon gift card, you cannot swap the same Choice gift card later for a $20 Amazon gift card.

      • You can exchange the Choice gift card for an Apple gift card, which can then be added to your Apple Account Associated Balance.

      You can't buy an Amazon Gift Card with credit/gift cards, but you can buy Partner gift cards (Swap Celebration etc).

    To be honest, prices on Amazon are so damn inflated these days that even 11% discounted card cannot beat them. I have noticed that Amazon has less stock under Prime (or even otherwise) and much higher prices these days. Looks like Amazon is two steps ahead of the market as far as inflation is concerned.

      Amazon gift cards are credited towards your account. You can add as many as you like to your Amazon account here, then purchase the item(s) using your gift card balance when you are ready.
